The EXCEPTIONAL customer service, transparent and informative information was above all. BUT THE SPEED OF SERVICE will make this my life long optical clinic...in AND out with new glasses cut in the shop in under 40 minutes!!! Bravo!!!! A+++

This place is amazing! Everyone is so nice and incredibly helpful. Dr. Susan takes the time to explain everything she finds during the exam in detail and answer all questions you have. They did forget to order my contacts one time, but were very apologetic about it, put a rush on the order, provided me with an extra temporary pair, and they came in the following business day.

Ive been going to the optical shop since we moved to the area. They are such a nice group of people. Dr. Coats is very good at what she does and always listens to my concerns and offers suggestions and solutions to fix them. Their staff is great with picking out frames.

Chris Kushman recommends Brookings Optical Shop: I am blind in one eye. And after going somewhere else that put me in the progressive lenses, I was beyond frustrated. So I changed up to the Optical Shop, and Dr. Coats was very patient and answered my questions, she pretty much let me know, that they should had warned against the progressive lenses. Everyone that works there, are great. I cant recommend them enough! Great selection of frames as well.

My wife and I stopped in for an appointment a few weeks back. We scheduled eye exams and were fitted with new glasses. I cannot say enough about the experience, the people, the treatment, and the expertise we witnessed was absolutely extraordinary.My wife told me the only reason she never wore her older glasses (prescribed by different organization) was because they didn’t feel right and the prescription was incorrect, “the people at the Optical Shop know what they are doing”, were her exact words. They took the time to make sure everything was perfect.In my opinion, I cannot remember seeing images so clear and sharp as I do now. It’s like looking through a kids eyes again. Completely amazing… and the care was above and beyond anything I’ve ever observed before, truly a team atmosphere driven by great leadership with customer satisfaction being the ultimate goal.Thank you again!

They committed insurance fraud. My family has gone here for years and every year they covered my glasses (I have a very small prescription) but this year they claimed that our insurance would not cover my glasses because my prescription is so minimal.
