One word, RUDE!Have you ever went out for an ice cream with your wife only to be told after you order inside that you have to leave to eat your treat because the dining room is closing at 9:00 pm?! It was so unbelievably rude....complete fail by staff, mgt, and owner.Note hours are displayed rather ambiguously.Guess what? Dairy Queen lobby was still open on our way home!

If you get to Brookings stop at the Zesto for a 100% beef burger. Load it up, or just add ketchup. AWESOME. Have some ice cream with sprinkles while youre at it.

Fun place! I love their changing sherbet flavors, and this is the only ice cream shop around where you can get a frozen chocolate-covered banana!

This place is good if you enjoy cheap hot dogs, decent burgers, and ice cream or slushie drinks essentially. It’s not my favourite or best fast food place that I’ve been to, but the price is better than Culver’s a bit away and has different selections of food. Their banana splits are quite brilliant. I would recommend to anyone after a ball game or such event, or anyone that want a quick relatively cheap meal.

We have not eaten there for a while. Once the dine in begins Ill review later.They finally opened the dining room. Food was good. Nice sitting down to eat instead of a parking lot.

The burgers I bought were not that hot,, and the buns seemed oldish, and kind of hard.

Ordered online 3 salads, fries, and fish sandwich. The 3 salads had 1 packet of dressing each with ton of salad not near enough dressing .....The chicken was cold in the salad ....The fries were cold ....The fish sandwich was mediocre.

Ordered my favorite...chilli cheese dog with green olives. Chilli and cheese were spread so thin couldnt even taste it. This was the 2nd time ordered and both times didnt get the green olives and this makes the dog!!

Love their ice cream! Been going to zesto since I was a kid and they had the shack by McDonalds. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend it

I have always heard great things about Zesto and wanted to give it a try. I did notice the place was very clean when we walked in, so they at least had that. We ordered a couple of shakes and some cheese balls. The shakes were OK but the cheese balls...what a rip off. I swear we got like 9 cheese balls for around $4. Definitely not worth it. On our way out, we were greeted with a monstrous pile of vomit right by the door. It seems no one cared to clean this up, despite being so clean otherwise. I dont go to Brookings often, but this gives me another reason to stay away.

I have bought a few malts at this location on my way out of town. They are super fast and the malt was tasty. Ive heard the burgers are good.

Menu is limited as it doesnt seem like it has changed in 20 years. And its overpriced for the amount of food you get. Order of small cheeseballs is around $3 and you get about 10 cheeseballs.

We are normally very satisfied with eating at Zestos however this one trip out of town we stopped & ordered, left town. I have a stale cone and one of the French fries had been forgotten. I called to let them know, it didnt sound like the manager was very worried about our messed up order. I was told to come back and the fries would be given and that was the just of it. I hope in the future more concern is given.

First time ever going to Zesto. Encountered four employees during this time through the drive-thru. Took some time to look at the menu ( first time, again) and felt like we were being rushed after I said one minute please. So rushed that Two employees came over the intercom and asked what they could get for me. I was the only person in line at this time. I had two separate orders, as i was with a friend. Got to the window and was asked to pull forward for my second order. The lady didnt ask for me to pay for the second order until i was already half way pulled forward and i could not back up because there were cars behind me. Was asked to pull forward for a second time, so i pulled into a parking space so i would be out of the way. The guy that brought me the food for the second order through the food at me, and stormed off. I even stated thank you and was ignored. Will not be going back!!!!!! I also never do this, but all the employees were no where near nice and the quantity of food for the price was not worth it. I also asked for honey mustard twice and did not receive it.

Local staple, burgers, hot dogs, and ice cream. Very open inside and it feels kind of empty and cold, but the staff is always nice and the food is usually pretty fast and made to order.
