I picked up my sons glasses without an appointment because school started and he needed them ASAP!The doctor was so kind and came out to my car to do the adjustment! Very special! Great staff highly recommend.

PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE, unless you want to feel miserable. Unfortunately, I did not check the reviews before I go to Pearl Vision in Brooklyn Center. All they are interested is to take your money, that is. The worst customer service i have ever experience. They will promise but they will not perform., go there. If you want a better service go to a different Vision Provider. I want to give a zero star but the system will not let me.By E. Touray

I’ve been going to the Brooklyn Center store for years. Dr. Augdahl saw that the pressure in my right eye was high he wouldn’t complete the exam until I went to see an eye specialist. I was diagnosed with glaucoma. I love the customer service I walk in and they call me by my name. I wish more places were like them.

Got my eye exam done and was really satisfied with the experience. The doctor let me see the pictures of my eye and did an amazing job explaining everything. The lady who greeted me at the door was amazing and friendly. The lady who helped me with my glasses was also extremely helpful and also offered me the warranty protection I would have been unaware of.

I’ve come here twice for my eye exam, the first time was a good experience. The second time was a 7/10. The eye doctor was very nice. When I picked out my glasses, and needed them to order it for me they just look at me and ignored me and had to repeat myself 3-4 times for them to finally turn to me and help. The lady employee that helped me was a bit rude. My cousin that is now working there is getting treated badly. She wanted to quit and the hiring person threatened my cousin to not quit or my cousin will get a bad review and will not find a job again and that’s a BIG red flag. Don’t work here or go here!

I’ve been coming here for 10 years. The Doctor is amazing with the eye care part and the services are good, however their scheduling system is all screwed up, I return every or so for my appt but this year I’ve had to reschedule twice because of whatever reason. Very inconvenient when I work M-F and have to schedule time off for a date I already confirm months ago.

Really cant offer a complete review. One reason is due to the fact that optician was very aggressive telling me to spend insurance allotted for frames on the most expensive frames. But, I digress since two pairs of glasses costs over $500. (pre-covid) This company advertises that they are now accepting appointments for an eye exam but when I call to get glasses adjusted I was told no due the Governors orders.But guess what God is STILL good. Americas best adjusted my glasses at no costs. That is where I will be going for all future eyewear needs.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. DO NOT GO HERE. First off the employee on the phone rudely told me to wait at the door some one would let me in after I called. Ten minutes later and another phone call finally they came to the door. Once inside they still were clueless to what my appointment was even for. The employee who I had the appointment with didnt speak any English and refused to accept my insurance (blue cross blue shield) due to her repeatedly calling the wrong customer service number. No manager was available when I asked for assistance. The woman also wouldnt give her name to me when I was turned away. Worst retail experience EVER.

Ive been coming here for fifteen years and have had excellent service every visit. The optometrist is a gentle, quiet-spoken man who communicates genuine care for the service he gives. He answers all of my questions, takes his time, and I always get an excellent prescription. My wife used to go to a high-dollar optometrist in Edina but comes here now and says that the care is better here. This optometrist caught a problem in her eyes that the Edina optometrist had missed, he recommended an eye surgeon, and it has made all the difference in the world to my wifes vision. I would never go anywhere else for my eye care.

I give it a four my daughter had a appointment today July 27 we were acknowledged right away walking in the door we were told to fill in some papers turn them in and were attend by the eye doctor in 8 minutes or less its was quick then we were look atglasses and yes it did take like 5 minutes to get acknowledged but I didnt mind it because we had time to picked them out without having someone be on our backs i will give a 5 star rating but first I need to see its true about its takes forever to get you glasses but other than that its went great

7.26.19The customer service is horrible at this location. When I entered with a child there were about 3-4 other people being seen at the front desk. The female receptionist looked over the shoulder of a customer and asked, do you have an appointment? I said, yes.There was no, hi, welcome to Pearle Vision. No.....Hello......just straight to that question.The optometrist rushed through the appointment. Even the child that I took said, that was fast.There were now 2 customers in the building. There was NO need to rush.We stopped at the desk on our way out and asked if thats all. The male receptionist didnt know. He went to the other receptionist.....she looked at the paper from the optometrist and said, yeah, thats all..theres no prescription.We left and here I am to give my review. Ill be taking my money elsewhere.

Had an appointment at 6pm and they closed the store early due to weather at 11am. thats fine but made no calls or messages for customers not to come out for their appointments in the same bad weather. several drove out for nothing. nobody that answers the phone ever seems to know whats going on in that place.

I would give the doctor 5 stars no doubt. He was very nice and knew what he was doing. However the service drives that whole place down. Need to hire new people at front. Or at least hire people who knows whats going on. Im waiting for my glasses for over 2 weeks now. Very disappointed.

Doctor is great but the rest of the operation needs work. I had a pair ofglasses redone due a lens issue and they left out the transition part of the lens. They did not when one set of glasses was ready to b picked up and they did not call to remind me of an appointment. The person who does the receptionist part did not seem to not want to be there and I have seen this in others as well. They have tweaked my glasses on a few occasions and have done well.

Dr. Augdahl is fantastic. I go 45 minutes out of my way to stay with Dr. Augdahl. He is accurate, listens to the customer, and friendly. It all starts here, and while there has been some issues in actually filling the prescription (and has taken a bit longer than it should), I still prefer this store over others.

I had come to this location expecting superior customer service in which i did not receive during our last visit to pick up eyeglasses for My Daughter. I had called to see My Daughters glasses were ready, because it had been nearly a month when we dropped of the prescription and choose the frames she wanted. I asked if they were ready because i have never received a call from them stating or a postcard like other locations do. She checks, they are they she confirms my phone number, ok its correct i go through my call log during the month of April NO CALL from Pearle Vision Brooklyn Center or an areacode similar to there location NOTHING, ok maybe a mistake. She says that we can come before 5pm that day. I wasnt planning on going but was in the area 10 minutes before closing. We get to the door, the door wouldnt open, ok i try the other one, locked i look at the hours posted on the door, 5pm closing ok i was thinking maybe its stuck so grab both doors to make sure nothing, the lights are off inside a couple cars still parked outside so why are the doors locked?...An Asian Lady comes out and says with an attitude Dont break the doors down we hear you!! Im thinking why did she say that for??. We get inside the lights are off can barley see. She asks for our information with an attitude like we were bothering them(2 other people inside) She hands us the glasses to My Daughter, She doesnt bring her to sit down at the fitting tables. I asked dont you usually sit people down to make sure they fit, she makes a face of disgust and motions us over to this table. My Daughter puts them on and yup sure enough they need to be adjusted. She comes back and she trys them on they are fitting better. I was not feeling any type of genuine courtesy from Her and I am done at this point and want to leave ASAP. I ask is that is all she says yeah and as we are leaving no goodbye, have a nice day, hope to see you again, nothing. I will not be going back to this location ever and encourage everyone to go to the Lake Street Pearle Vision as I have been going there myself for 6 years, They are such more welcoming even when they are the busiest Vision Center around the Twin Cities. I went to this location expecting superior customer service like the Lake St one because its out of the City, but received the complete opposite because She told us to come before 5pm and we werent asking for a full eye exam simply to pick up glasses that had been sitting there for nealy a month with no courtesy phone call to notify us they had arrived.

I like Dr. Augdahl very much. I think hes good at his job. In all the years Ive been going there I must say Im havent been impressed by the people working behind the counter. As I dont deal with them too much I keep going back because Dr. Augdahl is so awesome.

Horrible customer service!!! They do not care about their customers at all here!! They lie to you about when your glasses are suppose to be in. Took them over a month to finally get them in, when they finally did come in the lens kept falling out of the frame!! They tried to fix them but still wasnt right, when I called to check on them the lady I spoke with was very rude and hang up on me!! They need to fire everyone in this store and get all new employees!! I will not be back to this location and will advise everyone I know to not go there either!!!

This place is horrible!!!! I freaking rate it a 0 if i could! My wife and I, had came in for an appointment 2 weeks ago. May 25th. We came in and there were 3 receptionist at the front desk. We stood for over 10 mins for someone to acknowledge us! It was terrible, when she came out of after getting her eyes checked. She went out and there was no one to help her get her glasses picked out. She stood there for another 5 mins waiting for someone to acknowledge her. The lazy workers there were super rude. After my wife had her glasses picked. The doctor had mistaken her as someone else and gave her the wrong prescription. Are you serious? How do you people mistaken someone for someone else? Then after waiting over a week had no calls about her glasses. We called in and apparently they were in, but when we arrived, it took them over 10 MORE minutes to freaking find her glasses. You need to find new workers! It is an embarrassment to have lazy, irresponsible workers giving terrible service. You either need new workers and you need to fix your customer service. NEVER will we ever come to this terrible place again! You guys are a mess down there. You need to get your things straight. Worst place ever! You dont deserve any business from us or from anyone else if you treat your customers this way. As a Dealership Service Manager this is disappointment for your facility.

The location is clean and spacoius, we had an issue at the beginning with the scheduling. We have 3 people needing an eyes exam, we scheduled a month ahead inorder to get back to back time slots. But they are short on staff so we were told could take a while. But Dr. Ed Augduhl did his best and shorten ours visit. He was very professional works quickly yet very thorough. An amazing person. If you had a bad experience with your dr or past experiences here, I recommend trying here again and ask for Dr. Ed Augduhl. Thank you sir.

This place charged 5.00 to mail my glasses a week ago I still havent received a confirmation number my glasses or a call from the manager my wife and I have left several messages and were told the manager would call after his lunch break when I called back I was told the manager left for the day but he was given the message so beware when using this location for getting glasses
