I am very pleased with this service. Getting information on the product helped me decide which was best. Delivery was prompt and on time. The driver was courteous and place my container in the best possible location. He demonstrated how to use the contained and then made certain that I knew how to use it. He gave me tips for the most effective means to pack the container and listened to my concerns.

Jodi has been extremely helpful both in finding a unit that fit my needs as well as showing me those units. I cant say enough great things about her!I also had a great experience with Erin helping when Jodi was off for the day!! Both ladies are kind and patient!!Thanks and Kudos to you both!

I was disappointed that they were offering some months free but when I ordered on line it was not offered. I mentioned this but no one got back to me to make it right.

We needed to store furniture for a month while moving and decided on Extra Space. I was able to reserve everything online which was really convenient. The facility is very well kept - one of the cleanest storage places Ive been to. Plus the staff are very nice! Definitely will use this facility again.

Very clean well kept and friendly Management. Has made our transition from the old place wonderful and stress less. Had problem with code to get into building. Young lady in the office quickly got to work trying to figure out why. She eventually figured it out but couldnt fix the problem. Every fix she tried reset back to the problem. But she didnt give up and eventually (within the hour) found a workaround. Super helpful and friendly and determined to make sure you can get your stuff!

I´m not use to write reviews but in this particular case I have to. After Extra Storage Space rise up my payment, I went to my storage location in Brooklyn Park, MN in a ´complaining´ mode. I met Arin Rood for the first time and she was just wonderful. This young lady was very kind and knowledgeable and helped me to find the best solution for my needs, while having a casual conversation. When I came back a couple days later to set up some final details, I was a little disappointed because Arin wasn´t working that day. I found a different person; Jodi Butcher. Turns out she was full aware of my situation, and she was as kind and efficient as Arin. She reviewed carefully my options again, and she made the deal I had even better!! Thanks to Arin, I was able to move to a very close, slightly smaller and way cheaper unit, while Jodi facilitated the transition, so I was able to do it in a matter of a couple days. I really hope this company realize the amazing asset they have by relaying on real, competent people, with good hearts and an honest human connection. Super easy to book online, and they incentivize the process with price breaks to encourage social distancing. Great pricing. They have a very clean facility with a garage so you can pull your vehicle out of the weather while you unload.The locking mechanism on the units are a little weird but easy enough to figure out. There are illustrated instructions.The staff is friendly and the manager checked with me to make sure I had everything I needed.

The access is 💯 In and out whenever you want. Heated with motion lights. Bill that runs it is awesome. He knows what’s up and is a straightforward dude.The only dis I would give it is that the road around back doesn’t go through. I think it actually adds to security cuz peeps can’t just cruise through and case, but the backside definitely needs a turn around at the end for large moving trucks and pick ups with trailers.

We love the facility, we just recently downsized. Being able to be inside in the winter to sort through stuff is the best. With climate control our family never worried about our stuff being ruined.

Shinique was amazing. My parents had a unit in the same facility and she got me as close (5 doors down) as she could while also having a larger space. We were able to troubleshoot my needs fairly quickly when my gate code needed to be refreshed.

Controlled temp environment with lots of sizes to choose from. Storage carts available to help move your stored items with sizable elevators to move from floor to floor. There are two large garage door bays available however one has been damaged for several weeks and had yet to be fixed. That creates a problem. If a large U-haul type truck pulls in, it can be there for hours with no way to access the bays if youre attempting to bring or take items from your locker. The management has been made aware of the issue but it has not been fixed.The lockers need locks with a type that is hard to get but they sell them on site. Finally, the rates are deceiving, as they quote you a price only to find out that insurance is required on all units. Thats sort of a bait and switch game that is shady. If it werent for the garage door issue, the hidden insurance fee, and the lock type issue, this could easily be a 5 star rating....

Both the office and units are clean and organized. This was the first time Ive rented a unit with indoor dock area so the person on site walked me through the different areas and how to access the space Im renting. She answered all my questions in an easy manner and brought up a few things I hadnt thought of.

Ive had an over all positive experience with all the employees at extra space storage. Theres one that stands out by far! Erin goes above and beyond reasonable expectation when it comes cleaning! I will never rent a storage unit again! My family recently just had our storage broken into and our stuff stolen... not only do we feel violated and our sense of security taken away, Jodi was shocked but not surprised. the unit was locked and we had even with insurance on our unit but that didnt prevent this from happening I would only hope people who also rent there go check on their storage asap, because to our surprise the day we was scheduled to move out it had been robbed, trashed our and it was locked... I was heart broken and still trying to process what happened to us.

I recently became In need of a storage unit quickly and was really like to find Extra Storage in Brooklyn Park. Office hours are Monday-Saturday so, don’t try and grab a new unit on Sunday. I grabbed a 10 x 8 unit and held it online. When I arrived I mentioned I got a deal online for around $50.00. Erin was really helpful and pulled up my info. The first month at this unit is free but, they do require a first time $24.00 start fee and insurance which theirs came to $11, and you have to buy their lock. So you do have costs and fees the first month but it’s not including the unit cost the first time around. Since they require insurance my cost per month is $61.00. Erin was super nice and helpful at the desk. She was very detailed going over everything including the contract you sign.When you arrive to go to the storage unit you need to go up to a pin pad and type in a personal code hat lets you in the door. You can go into the door and open one of the two garage doors and pull in. This is also really nice in this Minnesota winter weather. They have plenty of available dollies to make loading and unloading easier .The location has 4 floors and an elevator to get up to the higher levels. I found the locks they make you use to be a little difficult but, the more you use it I figure the easier it is. The unit and building are kept up well and are nice and clean. The only hard part is when more than two vehicles are loading and unloading because you cant all be in the garage. You either need to wait or park and punch in your code and open the garage each time which can be time consuming. I overall prefer the units have the indoor garage and don’t mine being outside or having to wait but, it may be a deal breaker for others in a hurry.My only worry is a gentleman who was helping his daughter load and unload came up to me and said be careful. They start jacking up your prices very, very quickly. I was auto enrolled in auto pay which is fine but, now I am curious if I wont notice or if they notify upon raising costs. Ill keep an eye out for this and see what happened I guess. As for now I am happy with my choice.

This place is great! I needed storage very quickly after my basement flooded unexpectedly. I got help from Arin, who not only helped me figure out the exact size that would fit our needs but was also very empathetic to our whole situation. I would definitely recommend!

Overall great facility. Very clean. Friendly staff. The facility is heavily dependant on elevators for floors 2-4, and there were a few times during our rental elevators were only available during regular business hours due to issues with the elevator emergency phones, which made for a minor inconvenience in our loading and unloading as we had to do it earlier in day than we preferred. The loading bays can get congested and you may need to load outside and cart in your stuff. Despite these minor inconveniences I would definitely rent here again.

This location had everything we wanted. Secure access, access hours were excellent,various size storage units available, priced competitively, clean units and common areas. There are two large overhead doors to pull your vehicle inside the drive to unload, carts are free to use. Management staff was most helpful.

Havent had to use storage in forever. Arin fixed me right up. The building is clean, climate controlled, well lit. Easy access. And did I mention, there is music piped throughout the whole building. Go there, rent a space but leave one for me as it looks like I might need another one.

It was very easy to reserve a locker using the online application. Feel very safe and secure storage.

Extra carts are available for your convenience.The place is immaculately clean, with clean restrooms and heated interior for your convenience.Chuck is very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly, gave us a tour of the facility until we found the storage locker that met our individual needs and explained how to enter and exist in their secure facility.In summary, Extra Storage is a state of the art storage facility that puts their competition to shame.

We are using this as a staging for moving out. The process for renting was very quick and easy. The unit was clean and the facility is very secure. The drive in bays make this very nice if there is bad weather.

I am very happy with Extra Space Storage. The only issue I have is that the overhead doors are damaged a lot and sometimes out of use for SEVERAL days.

I have rented at the Brooklyn Park location several times now. The young lady in the office is the sweetest! She showed me several spaces was very nice and knew exactly what I needed. I recommend this location very convenient spot very clean and awesome staff.

I visited three storage facilities before deciding on one. The first was overpriced and had police cars at it... PASS. The second was overpriced and rude. The third fit just right. :)Eric met me at the door when I pulled up to Extra Space Storage. He walked me through all the security features and amenities of the facility. The building was clean and very well kept. All the units are inside the secured, climate control building. You can even drive your car into a heated garage to unload and load.Great building. Great Price. Great Manager.
