Lots of great finds and most of the staff was great. The cashier, Carla G, was very rude and pushy. She also charged me $1.49 per pound when it should have been the reduced rate based on my weight. Read the pricing chart inside and ensure you are charged correctly at the register, if there when opening beware there are pros the are pushy and will fight for a cart and the new bins. Be kind, take your time and remember to check over your items before purchasing as there are no refunds or exchanges.

Bad service. They were closed early (before 6 p.m.) and everyone inside refused to meet us to take our donation even though we were there before closing time. Treasure hunters delight, the rest of us be warned.I’m not sure how to rate this place. I did miraculously find what I was looking for and it was basically free so I think there are gems to be found here. The problem is you have to be willing to wade through huge vats of junk to find them.Keep in mind a few things: this is the place for goodwill items that didn’t sell at the regular stores but it is also a drop site so nicer items do come in, %off coupons aren’t accepted here, clothing and small household are sold by the pound, glass and dinnerware are .29 each so some potential deals there, give yourself plenty of time to dig around and checkout lines can be slow, and bring hand sanitizer.

I used to love shopping here but the price per pound went up. I also find it funny, with all the donated furniture they receive, they only put out the very dated junk furniture that should be in a dumpster. And if youre looking for personal shopping space, not gonna happen so bring patience, youll need it because employees dont enforce social distancing with follow through for those who disregard it, rudely. Customers who arent willing to follow the rules should be asked to leave.

Absolutely awful! This location needs a major help. Forget trying to look at least 1/2 the bins due to others leaving carts in front of the bin while they wander off looking in other bins just so they can be first when the bins change. DO NOT move any of their staged carts in front of bins if they are left unattended because you will get your head bit off by someone as that is their bin and apparently no one can look at these bins. I have never seen so many greedy people. The staff does not enforce anything they just repeat the same rules 1 to a bin and stay 6 feet apart, who’s cart is this, etc but don’t enforce these rules at all. I hope upper management reads this because goodwill is losing money when customers cannot look to even purchase anything.

I tried to help this store with an item they had up for auction on shopgoodwill.com. Their item title stated that it was a working electronic device. But, the description for the same item stated they could not test it for functionality. When I messaged them about this, they simply closed my ticket. When I contacted them again and explained that they could be misleading whoever buys the item, they closed my ticket again. Finally, I asked them why they were being non-communicative with me. They closed the ticket again. I saw that someone had won the auction and paid over eight hundred dollars for the item, which is not guaranteed to work.

I love going here! But not many people do... Heres why: its affectionately referred too by my friends as The Dig. Everything is placed into big bins on wheels and you go in, take a cart, and literally start digging! You find something you potentially want and put it in your cart. Once you have a bunch of stuff on your cart, go through it, decide what you REALLY want, toss what you dont want back, and if you want to continue digging, go for it. They roll out new bins about every 20 minutes or so. And its EXCITING!Stop digging when you like. The pricing is by the pound and per item. (Less than $1.50 on both- I cant recall right now!) 90% of the items are in excellent condition, and Ive found tons of name brand clothing (I havent really looked in the housewares or furniture yet, but Ive heard of and seen some people get amazing items for SUPER cheap) I did find a gold and silver heart pendant with a diamond in it on a silver chain in a velvet bag hiding one of the clothing bins. You never know what will be in there! If youre looking for specific items or you want a quick shopping stop, this isnt your place. If you like the excitement of the unknown, go here. You wont be disappointed.

Increases in pricing has only created more creative ways for many regular shoppers to hide pricey items. The key to the best deals is to put EVERYTHING in a cardboard box and toss a few books on top or just seal it up. You will NEVER be questioned as to what is in the box by ANY staff. DVD’s and CD’s or general household items should be weighed and can be quite pricey. Putting them in a box and stating they are books can make them yours for almost nothing.I’m not condoning this behavior by any means. This location is losing quite a bit of money due to dishonesty. Who is really losing here? Goodwill or those that reap the benefits of their contributions to those in need.

I purchased a pair of sunglasses through this location via their online auction site. The sunglasses were described as good condition (which was their description response to my inquiry message.as to whether the sunglasses had any damage or scratches). The sunglasses actually had significant damage, being two chips on a lens. I messaged them about this and was told I could return them (at my expense) but would not be refunded the $12 shipping and handling I paid. In all, this would cost me over $20 for sunglasses that were grossly misdescribed. The agent I communicated with at this location was incredibly rude and snarky too, Ive dealt with many great Goodwill Auction centers, but this location is seriously lacking in professionalism.

Stopped by here today with my parents to help pick up the items that they bought online with ShopGoodwill.com. Upon pulling into the Ecom pickup parking spot I was greeted by a nice lady. She brought our items which loaded into the car. We then parking elsewhere in their parking lot and went through everything we discovered that a signed drawing that we bought was missing (we chose to buy items from this store pacifically to get this drawing). We walked back to the ECom pickup door and was greeted by another woman who said that she would track it down for us. After waiting some time she called us and said that this piece of art had somehow vanished from their store and said that she would give us a refund. No manager bothered to come out and apologize that we drove all the way to Minneapolis from Eastern Wisconsin just to find out that the item that we were most excited about getting lost.I am now really devastated and will most defiantly not be supporting Goodwill anymore.

A month or so ago I would have given three or four stars, but they have recently changed the pricing here, and its WAY more expensive than it should be. Especially when you consider having to dig through bins that often contain some pretty nasty and dangerous surprises. (Actual things Ive come across: apple core, half eaten package of sausage, half full juice box with straw inserted, FILTHY clothing that smelled of someone who hadnt showered for weeks, scarf covered in what looked and smelled like vomit, dirty diapers, shall I go on...?)Also, because shoes arent paired, you have to really search for the other one and most of the time wont find it. Which means those perfectly good shoes go to waste since no one at Goodwill was instructed to pair them up. The wastefulness here is alarming in my opinion, since often glass, dishes, and other easily breakable items are just thrown into these bins and destroyed. I have often thought about people donating their well loved things here hoping for them to get a new life, not knowing how carelessly they will be treated and mostly likely broken. Which also means digging through bins can be very dangerous since there is broken glass and etc everywhere. Not to mention, doing a simple google search will reveal, “CEO and owner [of Goodwill] Mark Curran profits $2.3 million a year. Goodwill is a very catchy name for his business. You donate to his business and then he sells the items for profit.”Feb 28, 2018So not only are all the items at this outlet donated, but they are also often items that come from the more organized Goodwill stores where things are tagged and hanging on racks. If they dont sell (often because theyre overpriced) they are sent to a Goodwill outlet and thrown into a bin. When the pricing was reasonable, it made sense to shop here and put in all the work digging through thousands of often disgusting and always dangerous items to find the good stuff, but now...Im not so sure.I used to spend $50 on a full cart of items Id spent 4 hours digging for, now I spent about $90 for the same amount of things found in the same amount of time.Greed is revolting. Especially when lurking behind the guise of charity.

I purchased the Otaki home race set based on the listing photos. Order ID 25313329OTAKI At Home Model Car Racing Set.from warehouse 3SKU -NS4-003LN5$119.00The purchase was made because of the items pictured as this was supposed to be a present for a veteran of the U.S. military on his 65th birthday because he had this item as a child. The shipping department clearly saw the value and decided me (the customer) is undeserving of receiving these items and stealing them is a better idea. When the news of this event was shared with the frail man turning 65 and hopeful to feel the great thrill of his youth, he cried because this is all he wanted as a present. At this moment no one has reached out to me for a resolution. The solution is simple: I want what I paid for. Compare the listing photo to what was in the box on arrival and you will see many many items are stolen. Yes, stolen not misplaced. Seeing an elderly man cry because of another persons greed while all he wanted to do was race with his grandson and feel young again.

Theyll fill 10 carts to overflowing, then leave those carts everywhere. You cant shop whatever they threw into the carts, because its theirs. Only once did the staff step in to get them out of the way of other shoppers so we could actually look for and examine merchandise and use the carts. Only once. The staff treats the customers like the customers are receiving a favor by being there. A staff member walked up to me a half hour before closing and told me I had to get in line so that the employees could be out the door at closing time. Normally, closing means that the doors lock and business is done at THAT time. It doesnt normally mean that the customers accommodate the employees so that the employees walk out the door at closing. And then, they dont cover the bins when a new bin is brought out. They just expect you to know its a new bin (even at slower times when there isnt a huge flock of vultures circling it when it is harder to tell that it is new). I walked up to one and started looking at some items without knowing it was a new bin and was reprimanded in front of other customers. How embarrassing and rude. I almost wanted to just leave. There are a lot of vultures shopping there. Somebody even threw a suitcase into my elbow while they were tearing through items. Household items in a few others. They do have some furniture but I dont see much. There is a shelf located by the front door with manager specials and contain some pretty awesome items for a great deal. Dont plan a trip here unless you want to spend an hour minimum and be prepared for long lines as it can get busy. I found a ton of clothing for my family and felt like I paid nothing for all of it. Good prices for those who know how to look and are willing to take the time. You never know what youll find. Sometimes its something amazing, but some days are duds. Are they recycling from the previous day? My main concern is that shoes are all mixed together in huge bins and not attached as a matching set. If Goodwill really cares about the environment, they should take the time to put rubber bands on or tie shoes together. When no one can find the matches, they sometimes start arguing or become spiteful and purposely hang on to the mate so someone else doesnt get it. Some matches are simply impossible to find, and massive amounts of single shoes are shipped off to a third-world country where they must end up in a landfill, because NO ONE can use a single shoe no matter how terrific the shoe is!
