We ordered delivery and the food was very good, but I just cant get past the size of the $8.99 guacamole. Honestly I am still annoyed by it the next day. I dont think Ive ever paid so much for so little guacamole almost to the point Im wondering if it was a mistake. For example, the guacamole from Rusty Taco is $4.25 and you get literally twice as much.However, the rest of the food was delicious and you cant go wrong ordering from here unless its the guacamole.
A good place to eat for breakfast. The portions are good sized for the price. It felt good to support a local restaurant. The staff were great, very attentive and quick. The restaurant as well as the restrooms were clean. This place came as a recommendation, so I recommend it as well.
Let me explain the change from 5 to 1 star.The food is good mostly, the service is actually decent.As of late however the coffee is abysmal!!!!! For the love of good mornings and a happy customer add 2 more scoops atleast to every pot of coffee you make !!!!I would rather pay anyone else in the world at this point than drink coffee colored pot water with a hint of what once was coffee.Coffee filter water is not what I am paying for, I have mentioned it twice and still no change.
Long wait. But that’s expected on a Sunday morning. The food was good. Portions were good. Server got 2 of 4 orders incorrect, but fixed the issue quickly. Great classic diner feel.
Was overly excited to go to this place from out-of-town because they offer gluten-free options. The waitress was absolutely horrible!! She didnt offer us waters or say she would be right us, she just kept accommodating her other customers. She put their food in boxes, bagged them up and continued to talk to them, she glanced over at once and had a really bad attitude. We waited for 30 minutes before leaving and Im glad we did because the place we went after that was the total opposite with a great waitress.The host was great and felt really bad for our experience.
This is the only place near me I can get a good Monte Cristo at. I do enjoy their American/Mexican fusion as well especially on breakfast menu. (Served all day)

There was no wait at 9:30am on a Sunday, although it was pretty busy. Good service, the waitress was nice and courteous, the food was a large serving for relatively inexpensive, and overall a good experience. I got the meat skillet with pancakes and eggs overeasy, everything was cooked well. Would recommend!
Excellent diner! Came in on a Sunday morning and it was a packed house. We were seated quickly and the service was great. For a family of 5 we were here for about 10-15 minutes before our food arrived. I had the country fried steak breakfast and felt like I need a wheelchair to get back to the car. Big portions and it is hard to stop eating! Great job to all at Great Scott’s!!!
This is an establishment that has great effect. The crew is on top and always will try to accommodate. The food is that fresh 1960s diner style that we all still get nostalgic to this day. And the decorations and memorabilia is just excellent. I reccomend getting the specials, because they are always fantastic and never disappoint.
Love this place. Their staff is familiar and friendly and always have a bobble or two for the kids to play with while we wait for our food, which is always delicious. Me and my buddy go for after-dinner fries and shakes regularly. They are kind and treat their wait staff fairly. I honestly cant think if any critiques.

Wonderful service and delicious french toast. Old style dinning with very welcoming waiters. But heres my issue: I sat at the bar and I was able to see how they were handling the food, bare hands. Cookers in the kitchen were wearing gloves, but waiters were constantly touching the bread, reorganize items in the plate, and touching other food items with the bare hands after touching many other non food items. Im glad I didnt order toast and I was watching how they handled my plate but to be honest I didnt like this at all. I hope they can fix this issue since its such a wonderful place, its a local gem.

The food is fairly average . The ambiance is cheerful and entrees are reasonably priced. The floor was not swept or mopped in a while so we had to be a little careful not to step in the food under our booth. I like the outdoor patio.

Really fun diner, went for dinner. Service was good, no issues there. Food was good, i had the monte cristo, probably not a most popular menu item, but i loved it! Onion rings were huge. You can get a beer or glass of wine, which is a super bonus at a diner. Want to go back for breakfast, i feel like breakfast and burgers may be where its at for this place. No 5th star because it was pretty chilly inside, almost distracting, the chill inside. Well go back, with a sweater :)

Their food is seriously to die for. We always over eat here because its just that good! Chili relleno breakfast is incredible as well as the pineapple upside down pancake. Had the sweetest server about 3 wks ago.. and now I cant remember her name, but she was so very sweet.
Skip the chains, and check out this cute local place! The food was DELICIOUS & prompt! Our server Esmerelda was so sweet and simply amazing! Pretty sure we will go back before we head back home from our vacation :)

I have heard great things about this restaurant but wasnt impressed with my visit. Im a big fan of corned beef hash so I asked the waitress how it was and shes said it was one of the best items on the menu. To my surprise, it was canned mush. It was awful. I also ordered a beer and it was never delivered. I kept trying to get the waitresses attention but she never came over until the food was served. By that time it wasnt worth the hassle. Prices are good but Id rather spend a little more money for fresh ingredients.
Been trying to stop in for a meal and finally got the chance. Its a cozy little place to bring the family.Had dinner on a Friday Night and the specials were great. Love the special touch to the coleslaw. Woke up and decided to try breakfast. No disappointment here. The pineapple upside down pancakes were the best thing ever created. Cant wait to try lunch.

I went for a breakfast visit, and the food was really good. The vibe of the place is fun, and the wait staff was very friendly. I ordered and egg, bacon and hash brown plate that came with some French toast. The bacon was good and they have a jalapeño bacon option which was my choice. French toast had a good flavor. The hash browns needed some more salt, but that can be added at the table. If Im back in the Broomfield area, and I want some good breakfast, Ill be back.

Ive been to Great Scotts probably 5-7 times over the years when I have a craving for diner style food or a friend invites me to lunch. It is far superior to breakfast style places like IHOP or Village inn. Occasionally though, like my last visit, it falls a little short. My French dip sandwich was dry and the waiter forgot to bring out the Au Jus. When he brought that out, I asked about the chocolate malt I had ordered. He apologized and disappeared. He brought it out about 15 minutes later after I had finished my sandwich! So, the service wasnt great but the food sufficed. It wont be a wasted visit if you give them a try, but lower your expectations -- perhaps something on their extensive menu will be a fun surprise.

The food tasted as if the grill was dirty. Hash browns, pancakes, french toast all tasted rancid. And honestly seemed as if the restaurant had really went down in cleanliness. Just saying I have been twice since they have reopened and am not going back.

Brace yourself, this is a long and detailed review.The food tasted ok, a little on the bland side. My husband and I ordered the country fried steak, hashbrowns and over medium eggs and also the eggs benedict with rice.My frustration was the fact that I ordered our food online and selected curbside. I was given a specific pickup time and I arrived but couldnt find any designated curbside parking spaces. The parking lot was tiny and cramped. So I had to circle around until I found a spot and decided to go in because no one was available for curbside; if they were, I didnt see them. I then was asked by 3 different servers if I had been helped and each time I told them that I was there for an online order and gave them my name. The response I always received was, oh, its not ready yet, someones working on it. Mind you, no was was rude, just busy (I understand that but I was a customer too)and there was no communication.Finally got my food only to feel it and it was barely lukewarm. As if it had been sitting out for awhile. And by awhile, I mean 20 minutes. I suspect my food had been ready at the specified pickup time but it was not communicated to anyone. Not only that, but items were missing so I also wait for that. So by the time I got back to my hotel room, my husband and I ate a cold meal.If curbside is not a viable option for this restaurant, the option should be removed from the ordering page OR have designated parking spaces that are clearly labeled CURBSIDE PICK-UP ONLY.Its not pleasant to order and expect a nice hot meal only to wind up eating cold food. :/

We ate here yesterday. My wife and I ordered the Turkey dinner. Warning!!! It made us very sick. The Turkey was not fresh and tasted like it had freezer burn. Yuck! I spoke with the manager, Luis, to warn him about the Turkey. Do not order this meal.
