Going into the store is lovely! Warm, inviting employees greet you and let you know how to navigate the store. They had some great furniture picks, had the alternative colors of different pieces. They even have complimentary ice cream, coffee, and candy. Will be back!

We ordered 4 stools, which were exactly what we wanted. They hounded us to buy the protection plan, which we repeatedly turned down.Upon picking up stools, they remarked that one box was damaged, but the contents were fine and they taped it up.When we assembled said stools, we found only 3 were present. The damaged box has been opened to remove a stool (they come in twos).We returned to the store where they gave us our fourth stool. Problem solved, but points deducted for poor execution

If I could give a zero star for the poor customer service I received at this store I would! I purchased a mattress on 6/17/2021and was told that it would be delivered on Saturday 6/19. I went in on Fri just to confirm the delivery, but was told by the manager that she had no record of it being scheduled for Sat and also said she would try to reach to dispatch to find out if they could add it on and would call me back to let me know the outcome! NO CALL! I called her to hear she got no answer from them and it is scheduled to be delivered on Fri.6/25! Whos going to wait for a week to have their mattress or any other purchase to be delivered, so after that being deceived not only by the salesman but the manager as.well, i just decided to cancel out the order and shop else where, to find a good professional company that appreciate its customers and with excellent customer service.

Great quality at good and affordable prices. Theres information tags on all the furniture, which was very helpful. I also didnt find much of that anywhere else. The sales people only ask if you have any questions or need anything else, otherwise they leave you alone.

We weren’t impressed. They did warn us that couches wouldn’t be in stock for 6-8 weeks. I was in the store for about an hour and the salesman followed us around like a hawk, to the point it was obnoxious. There was one set I would have purchased right away, but he said it was discontinued and the display was already sold. We went online (their own website) and found it ourselves and it could arrive in 2 weeks. Prices are awesome, but not sure if it’s worth feeling so uncomfortable in their store and not getting correct info from the salesperson to start with. Needless to say, we won’t be returning.

Helpful staff! The prices are very good especially with the warranty that is offered with your purchase. There is what they call a goof proof that can cover anything that goes wrong with their furniture. They also deliver and set up at a extra charge. Dont fear if you need to bring your kids with, there is a few tables in the back with ice cream candy and cookies but dont let them jump on the furniture after eating it :D

Do not waist your time! Out of everything. Everything had to be ordered in and they tell you a date of when it will be I stock. Nope I waited over a mount past the day they had told me. Plus everything arrived deprédate. I mean matters then box spring the mirror. Head bord, then foot bord, then I finally got the rails and dresser. When I got the dresser which was the last to arrive it was damaged. So now I sit with a very expensive damaged dresser because i don’t have time to sit and wait for them to send me another. It’s needed NOW! Very disappointed I would give the zero stars if I could.

Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Been waiting 4 months for a table and have been lied to by customer service about why our delivery keeps getting delayed. First we got told the truck broke down so we had to reschedule then we got told someone was hurt at another delivery then we got told it wasn’t in stock anymore and we had to wait then we were told it was damaged on another delivery and we now have to wait another month. So a total of 5 month with no table and customer service just keeps giving us the run around and coming up with different stories. We will be canceling our card with them and we will NEVER recommend this place to ANY of our friends or family.

We ordered a bedroom set and a living room set. The first dresser arrived broken. Since then it’s been nothing but a shut show. Cant get the broken removed from my” kitchen” for more than 2 weeks. All customer service agents have dropped my calls after being on hold over an hour. Not pleased with my first of a few deliveries. Can’t wait to see what the next delivery brings me! Oh and this is the short version of the story.

My husband and I purchased furniture from Bobs Furniture in Brown Deer, WI in January (in-person). We were initially told that the furniture would be delivered in March. When March came we were told it would be delivered in May.When I called to complain about the delivery time I was told that there were people who ordered their furniture in November and had not received it yet. I cancelled my order; mainly out of frustration.I called back, maybe 2 weeks later, and re-ordered the furniture (over-the-phone). I learned recently that I was not speaking with the Brown Deer location.Over the following months I received updates informing me of the timeline that my furniture would be delivered. After having the delivery time pushed back 8 months I called the Brown Deer location. I was informed I could not be helped because I did not purchase my furniture at that location. I was transferred to Ontario, CA. I spoke with Ana who informed me she had been trying to reach me. There was no proof of this because I had not received any missed calls or voicemails from Ana. I informed Ana that I wanted to cancel my order. She started to say something but stopped mid-sentenced and asked me why? I shared my frustration with this experience. She then proceeded to tell me that she had been trying to reach me to inform me that the sofa set I ordered was no longer available. I am beyond furious about this entire experience. I understand that the pandemic had an impact on many businesses but I felt that this excuse was used to mask the horrible service that was being rendered.Everyone was smiley faces when we were spending our thousands of dollar. Everyone was making promises they knew darn well they werent planning to keep. Not one single person called to offer any apologies. Instead, you send impersonal emails telling us over and over that our furniture was not available. Where is your damage control? Why didnt someone call to offer us to switch to furniture that would be ready to deliver? Why didnt you offer deals since it was taking so long? Why didnt you offer to refund our money? Why did I need to talk to someone in California and I live in Milwaukee? Why couldnt the Brown Deer location help me when you are the same company!!! And yes, we were no paying anything until we received our furniture, however, it did create a debit which did impact my credit score.If you are the reputable company that you advertised to be you will do something to make me a happy customer again. But youre unprofessionalism leads me to believe that this letter will go no where.Very Disappointed and Dissatisfied Customer

The star was for the in store salesperson. This was my 1st and last time getting anything delivered. Took the first opening for delivery, which was 3 weeks out, only for the delivery to never arrive. Called all of the available numbers and nevet got a human. Then received a phoncall after 8pm stating I need to reschedule and the nect available time was next week. I did have great convo with customer service through live chat, which stated that my 2am eta for delivery was accurate instead of suggesting to reschedule.

Paid the extra money for the goof proof plan for our new living room set and after not even 2 years of just adults in the household the stitching is coming out of the love seat and the padding in the couch is flat. Filed a claim and both were denied as non covered. Really? What exactly is covered?? Would never purchase furniture here again. Please take my advice and do not pay extra for good proof, they will not pay any way.

The delivery service was the worst experience I have ever had with any sort of delivery. I was given a 3 hour window for delivery on the day that we had selected for a couch to be delivered. I waited in my living room the entire day to make sure that I didnt miss anyone coming to the door and kept my eye out on the street for the truck. I also watched the tracker that they provided and was told that they would be there in 30 minutes but they never showed up. When I checked the tracker it said that they could not complete the order. So naturally I was very upset and confused. After talking to customer service it seemed that the delivery people went to the wrong house somehow even though the address provided was correct and I never received a call. Customer service told me I would receive a call from the deliver people later that day to try to arrange deliver but I never received a phone call. I am going back to the show room and demanding a full refund and will be going to a more requitable furniture store. If you end up buying from here I recommend doing your own pick up.

While I selected 1 star, I would rather have given them a 0. Do not purchase furniture from Bob’s. My mother ordered a loveseat in September which was delivered on November without legs. She purchased furniture with legs. She has been trying to get her legs since. Customer service now says she won’t get legs until June 30 after she has been promised 3 times the legs would have been ordered.

The store looked great and the prices were amazing. My only problem was with my sales person. Dominican Danny. At first he was good. He seemed to know his stuff. But then my granny and I got very uncomfortable. He was very pushy and kept telling me he was a producer and wanted me to work for him. Kept talking about her personal life. I was not there to make friends. What really bothered us was as we were leaving he told us to come back and see him and only work with him so the order does not get messed up. Ok ok. Then he said yea fam we have to stay together know what Im saying gotta work with our kind. His statement really left a bad taste in my mouth. Very unprofessional and poor business.

In 2019 I had THE WORST experience with an employee at Bobs! He told us we couldnt get delivery, that we would have to BUY plastic and carry the item off the showroom! What???? (I will not post his name as I did not see him working in 2021)Im glad I gave Bobs another chance. Michelle was an absolute delight to work with! Order wall painting $300 online called customer service to return 4 days after receiving because painting was way to big for the wall space and they said that I have to pay to send item back and would only be issued a store credit for the purchase. That they dont refund customers. 😡😡😡 I will definitely not shop there again.

Originally I had given Bobs a five because I was instructed to so by our salesman as we were finishing the purchase of our couch. The initial experience was decent so I felt comfortable doing it, but after the terrible service weve received I had to change it to 1 star and write this. The attached picture is where our new couch from Bobs SHOULD be, but is not, as the salesman who we spoke with incorrectly told us the size of the couch as being 90 inches, when it was in fact 103 inches. We knew our home had clearance for 95 inches of couch, so it wouldve been fine had the couch been the size we were told, but it was not. The sizing wasnt even listed on the receipt so there was no way to know this wasnt going to work until they tried to deliver the couch and it just didnt fit. At this point, we were disappointed, but thought we could go back into the store and have a decent resolution to this situation. But, when we spoke to a manager and explained what had happened with the incorrect size, due to their error and not ours, their response was basically just sorry go look around for another. It was like they didnt even care that we had spent a sizeable chunk of change in their store for a product we couldnt use, that we had wasted an entire Saturday waiting for the couch, and that we now had NO couch because we had to get rid of our old couch before they could deliver the new one. We werent expecting a free couch, or even a discount, just a genuine apology and helping us look around and showing us the couches that were the size we needed so we could do an exchange. Thats all it wouldve taken to make it all okay. It put such a terrible taste in our mouth that we wound up getting a full refund, which I will say, they were good about giving us a refund for everything, even the delivery fee, without a hassle.

Terrible customer service. We ordered a new bedroom set back in November, we went with this bed set specifically because it had an earlier delivery estimate. It is January 11th now and I still do not have my bedroom set. The first scheduled delivery got canceled with no notice, after I have my day set for this big delivery, after I take down and clear out my old bed room set. Finally they delivered parts of it, now I have 5 giant boxes sitting in my room. I go online to track the rest of the delivery and there is nothing. They send you in circles on the phone, or don’t pick up. I understand that COVID has delayed shipment.... but there is no excuse to why I have had half of a bedroom set sitting in boxes in my room for the past WEEEKS, and there is no excuse for the terrible customer service and lack of communication! Especially for the price we are paying! Terrible customer service. I would not recommend Bobs.

I feel the need to share. I received the best service yesterday whiles visiting the store. Michelle greeted me as I walked in the door, I told her my situation and what I was looking for. Michelle was very informative of everything, she knew her stuff. I was then introduced to Josh the manager he was very welcoming. They both talked to me about my financing options. They were not pushy or too salesman like. I look forward to working with them both very soon. It was a great shopping experience.

$2000 on a couch and 2 years later the material is worn down, and black leather is ripped and fading and showing brown through. I would need to pay $80 plus tax for them to just come LOOK at it. Then I am responsible for the repairs/replacement as needed. Never again will I spend the money on such poor quality with nothing to back it. Strongly recommend not purchasing from them.

This company is ridiculous!!! Ordered a $1000 dinning table, got the delivery after almost 4 months, had to call in 3 times to swap table and bench as the assembly people cracked the funiture. I am still yet to recieve a high chair as part of the even swap but they have been stalling it for over 7 months and now they are rejecting to swap it. If you are not going to provide in good shape marchandise that was paid in full then be up front and I can spend that $1000 somewhere else.

I went to Bobs Furniture looking to buy a dining room table it was the worst experience Ive ever had Ive worked with two sales associates that day one by the name of Manny both sale Associates gave me the wrong information I was in the store for almost 2 hours only to get home and receive a phone call from bobs office staff stating that the associates gave me the wrong information and did not fill out the right application for me so I can either come back and get my money or wait to receive my furniture. none of this was told to me while I was there for the two hours they took my money and let me leave only to call me back and tell me that there was a miscommunication which I understood everything that was communicated to me so it was really an insult to my intelligence it was a very bad experience and it was a waste of my time and I explained to them that I didnt have much time available to be there because I own four retail locations myself and I must say that if my staff would have given a customer the false information that was given to me about a product that staff will be fired it was the worst experience ever and I do not recommend their services to anyone. Do not order anything from this store. They have nothing in stock. I was supposed to have a dresser and chest delivered tomorrow they called me today to say that it couldn’t be done until January. No compensation, nothing to make the situation right. Just sorry we messed up. Oh and you canceled a chair last week and we refunded you on the wrong order so you have to pay us for this again and we can properly refund you next month if we deliver your dressers then. Like, this is pathetic. Also I ordered a table in September and it was supposed to be in nov 5, then the end of nov then dec 5 then today and still nothing. I would never recommend bobs

Me and my husband recently came in and purchased a reclining sofa/chair. Our salesperson’s name was Vlad, and he did a great job helping us find the right furniture fit for us. The ‘goof proof’ protection is an absolute bonus. Me and my husband were both impressed by the service, and the quality of our new recliner. We love it!! By far the worse experience ever!!! If I could give them a negative star I would. We bought a couple items (table set, couches, & recliner.) We were told that the couches and recliner would be delivered at different time, which we were ok with. At time of our table set were delivered the men setting it hit and dented my wall, scratched the table and damaged the table. I let the men know that the pieces they delivered was not correct (got a bench instead of chairs), and that they had damaged not only my wall but table. They simply stated to call customer service. When calling customer service it took HOURS to get ahold of them. The representative said it take about a month or so to get the proper furniture and nothing about said damaged table. When we were suppose to get the couches, we were to get the chairs. The date they had told us were supposed to get the couches, we only received the recliner. Once again we had to call customer service. They then stated that the couches were not ready and theyd be in, in another month. They were available, not available to deliver until another month tho. So I asked if I went to the store to pick them up would I be able to take them home that day. (An hour away btw). So I drove to pick them up and guess what? NOT THERE. I asked for a refund and the entire time, the lady doing the refund was having computer troubles LAUGHING the entire time. Manager came over, youd think hed be professional! Nope! He was now joking with the lady. By far this has been the worse experience I have ever encountered. Its not worth the hassle. I wouldnt mind waiting it was the integrity and the lies they told. I was really looking forward to having my furniture. Honestly this sucks and so do they. Dont believe what they said it is extremely questionable!

My family and I were so pleased that we made the drive to check out Bob’s Discount Furniture. The customer service was excellent. Jim (store manager) and Karen were helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable without pressuring us. Many times we walk into furniture stores with our children and we receive looks that are less than welcoming. At Bob’s, they make it easy to shop for furniture with your children! They have an area with ice cream, candy, coffee, cookies and a movie for the kids. They certainly know how to make the shopping experience positive with your kids in tow! The furniture selection is excellent and prices are affordable. We left feeling great about our purchases and would absolutely go back again.

Terrible experience. I will never shop here again. I placed an order July/22/2020 paid full CASH. The declined me Lalway and any type of special financing telling me that I needed to purchase my furniture out right pay in full in order for me to receive my furniture by September 1. so I did that I paid for my furniture in cash on July 22, 2020 just for me to only receive half of my furniture on September 1. I was never told that the other half of my furniture will be delayed or back ordered or anything like that I was told that all of my itemsWould be available by the end of August this was not the case it is now October 15 I still have not received the other half of my items they have not offered me a refund or any type of remedy to rectify the situation I am highly upset I paid $3000 for a couch and I Only have half of it. On September 1 When the delivery people dropped off my furniture they told me that I would receive the rest of my furniture by September 6.Received a call on September 6 telling me that my furniture was on its way; I waited until around 8 PM no furniture arrived I received another phone call from the delivery guy saying oh “it’s late wondering if we can drop off the furniture tomorrow morning” I said sure no problem, morning came I never received any furniture I’ll call Bob’s furniture to see what’s going on with my furniture they told me that I have to wait till October 16 they have absolutely no idea why they driver called me and told me that they were delivering my items on September 6 they have no idea what happened to the furniture that was on a truck on September 6 I now have to wait all the way to October 16 to receive the rest of my furniture. Which by the way today is October 15th I still have not received any correspondence on when or if my deliver will arrive tomorrow.

THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING - TERRIBLE CORPORATE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The Brown Deer store itself is not what Im writing my review about. Its about their Customer Care center. I purchased several mattresses from Bobs, and had to exchange one due to it being uncomfortable. I purchased the Goof Proof care plan, which allows for an exchange. Not being able to get into a store within the window of time to do the exchange, I called customer care and sat on hold for almost an hour. When I finally got a customer service rep, she was very nice. I told her my situation, and that I just needed them to go ahead and order the replacement mattress and schedule pickup and was hoping to have that done in one trip. She took down the information on which mattress I wanted, gave me a date of July 31st and said she would take care of everything. I thought to myself, GREAT, and went about my business. Fast forward to today - July 30th - when I used the websites chat function to contact customer care to find out what my window was for July 31st. To my surprise, the ONLY thing scheduled for July 31st was the pickup of the original mattress! As I chatted with Kelly (who stated she was just filling in on the chat, and normally handled escalated tickets), she told me that no one in customer care was able to order mattresses or furniture. The person who told me she was taking care of everything, did not have the authority to do so and never should have told me that. She then told me there was nothing she could do, I would just have to call the store. I called the Brown Deer store and talked to Patricia, who was very nice, and did her best to get the new mattress ordered to be delivered with the truck that is coming tomorrow to pick up the old mattress (7/31). After all my troubles, hassle and being given incorrect information, I am still being charged a $94 delivery fee - even though they have to come here anyway to pick up the old mattress. Patricia was not able to waive that fee on the store level, so she transferred me to customer care - she said they have that authority to do it. The person I talked to added notes to her system, and requested it - but it was DENIED because its an exchange. You would think a company the size of Bobs would have more communication between departments, and could at least offer SOMETHING in return to customers that spent thousands of dollars with them and then mess up. The least they could have done was save me the $94 bucks after their customer service promised I was taken care of but clearly did not. I would recommend anyone considering buying from Bobs to carefully consider what they will run into if they ever need customer service. A note for the company if they read their reviews - I WILL be posting this to Facebook and making sure everyone I come in contact with hears about my experience.

Furniture availability is fundamental! i bought a living room set, expected delivery in sep2020 from Bobs, whereas Ashleys expected AVAILABILITY for a similar living room would Dec2020, early Jan2021.Bobs is the best!

We originally purchased a new mattress and powered frame from Bobs in Greenfield about a week ago. We wanted to make sure we picked what we wanted so we stopped at Bobs in Brown Deer. We ended up choosing a different mattress. Vlad was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He made sure our transaction was correct given that we had to return the previously purchased mattress.

I was greeted by Brittany, sales associate at Bobs Discount Furniture Store in Brown Deer. She was very polite and helpful.Whenever you are in the area, stop by and take a scroll through the store, all of the associates and the manager showed extraordinary customer service. Oh let me also add that Bobs Cafe which offers ice cream, candy and coffee FREE to all customers and if you have little ones with you, theres a TV with shows for them to watch. Even though I didnt make a purchase here this place was great! Great prices and great purchasing options if you only want certain pieces instead of full groupings. Lots more modern offerings compared to the major furniture places. My girlfriend and I actually had fun here looking and interacting with the staff. Well probably end up back here again. My son bought me a adjustable base and a bedroom set from Bobs. It was under half the price of the two stores I went to prior to coming to Bobs. I went to Mattress Firm and Colders. Colders was very very expensive and out of the price rang my son could afford and the salesman wasnt very friendly at all. So I continued looking. And Mattress Firm was having a sale but it wasnt what I thought it was. When I got in there they were giving away mattresses with adjustable bases but the mattresses were thin and uncomfortable. And they tried to sell me on a $6000.00 adjustable and mattress set. I was so upset I immediately left. Then my son said lets try Bobs. Immediately upon entry I was greeted by Dan holding up the piece sign and saying welcome. Even though I was initially rude he still smiled and joked. I said I need a adjustable base and a mattress. Can you help me? He said yes maam I can. He showed me how to find a great mattress, he called it a comfort test. I thought he was pulling my string but it worked. He also introduced me to his manager Josh who said DAN KNOWS WHAT HES TALKING ABOUT. Ive been here for five years and Dan has probably forgotten more about mattresses than Ive ever known. He actually told me something about the mattress youre currently sitting on that I didnt even know. Oh and thats our newest mattress. It made me feel good about shopping with Dan. Ive had my Distinction mattress and Power Bob plus for 2 weeks now and Ive never slept better. THANK YOU Bobs and Thank you Dan. I will certainly be back to by the rest of my furniture needs from Dan at Bobs.

I had a wonderful experience, the people are great they are highly educated on the products. They made sure they answered any questions i had ... Michelle and Dan helped me, Lauren even though was training was also wonderful as well . I got the Jason bedroom set and it looks amazing.. they also offer the financing options for me which allowed me to get more for my money. The goof proof protection plan is high recommend, it comes with 5 years of any damages and with me having a 2 years it is a must.

We came in just to see what kind of selection the store had. We met Reese right away. He greeted us immediately, but respected our wishes to just look around. He did explain a few things first but then gave us all the time we needed. He was so polite, funny and respectful. Bobs has a great selection, good quality, and great sales staff. We just had our piece delivered, the delivery guys were also completely polite, efficient and wonderful. Such a great experience and I know we will be back!
