I love this place. Starbucks has nothing on them. Fast and super friendly service. If you go enough they know your name and what you want the second they see your face. Coffee is amazing!!! Ive tried several different things wraps are great tacos are great. What really makes this place so wonderful is the customer service I dont feel like a customer but like a friend.

Used to be nice, warm, inviting, friendly. The girl who works the window is a deal breaker for me. It’s impossible for her to smile or make eye contact. I message the coffee shop to tell them about this and all they could do is send me some generic automated response. They didn’t care about me so I don’t care about them. Will be driving all the way to early to Starbucks now, because at least I know they’ll smile and be happy to see me, which can really just make your entire day.

Cant wait to see the new location on Austin Ave. and Main St.! Hoping for more room for small groups! God bless

We had an amazing breakfast here. I tried the Milky Way iced coffee and a breakfast burrito and they were delicious. Staff was friendly, professional and top notch!

Usually when I come to Common Grounds I have a pleasant experience, but today that didn’t happen. The girl that took my order at the window was not friendly at all. She acted like I was bothering her by taking my order and that she was annoyed by working there. I didn’t get my red and green salsa in the bag with my order and didn’t realize it until I got home. I called to speak to a manager and they were unapologetic about my experience with the girl who took my order and not getting my salsa. It made me wonder if this girl was related to the owner or an employee because he didn’t seem to care at all about her unfriendliness. Won’t be going back because I feel like nothing was solved and I wasn’t taken care of as a customer 😐

We were driving through Brownwood and ready for breakfast and clean restrooms. Based upon a google search, we decided to try Common Grounds and I’m so glad we did. It’s a cozy little establishment specializing in coffees and breakfast burritos. I had a bacon, egg, cheese, and potato burrito while my husband ordered a sausage, egg, cheese and potato burrito. The burritos were huge and made with homemade tortillas, served with either red or green hot sauce upon request. The green hot sauce was wonderful. We were warmly welcomed by one of the owners of the husband/wife team. The burritos were made to order and were definitely some of the best burritos we’ve ever had. We had already met our caffeine quota for the day, but next time we’re in the area, we will try the coffee to go with those burritos. With clean facilities, friendly staff, and great burritos, Common Grounds is the kind of place I look forward to revisiting!

This is my go to place when I need to study! Thank God for their WiFi and awesome environment. I’ve tried almost every coffee they have! I’d say Texas Pecan, Dulce de leche, and almond joy are my top three favorites! Breakfast: Brisket, Egg, and cheese taco is my utmost favorite along with homemade tortillas! Go for their homemade hot sauces as well! This is a local coffee shop and it’s 10x much better than Starbucks! I use a loyal card to get freebies because I come here frequently. Best coffee shop, ever.

Very lean and fresh made brisket burrito and large enough for.just one needed. Mocha Frappuccino with almond milk much better than Starbucks I had yesterday. Spectacular!!

Ive never been disappointed by this establishment. Food, fraps, coffee, and much more, always served with smiling faces! This is my go to morning spot every time Im in town! I recommend the combination burritos paired with the MUST TRY homemade green sauce! Those with an ice cold frappuccino are a pair to be appreciated for sure!

Went in yesterday needing 5 pounds of beans which they didnt have available as they were running low but did allow me to get 1/2 pound. Said to come back today and they would have the 5 pounds available. Stopped back this morning was immediately recognized and told they had my beans waiting for me. You cant beat this type of service. THE RUDOLPH THE RED NOSE LATTE IS VERY GOOD.

Love this local coffee shop thats also areat option for food thats not super heavy. There is outdoor eating available. I like to get the Italian cream sodas or a vanilla latte with a burrito or panini. Friendly workers too who will learn your name and order. Only downside are the hours.

I would like to actually give it 4.5 stars just because I wish it was open past 2pm!! What about all us people who like a late afternoon coffee? Anyways, love the coffee, cant wait for the new location!

This shop offers a wide variety of reasonably priced, creative drink selections. They make everything exactly how you ask for it- and you never have to wait long . All of the employees have wonderful attitudes, making it hard not to start your day off right when you stop by Common Grounds. Going anywhere else is truly a waste.

The staff and service are always on point! The coffee is really good and the food is always fresh and tastes very clean. Indoor and outdoor seating. The parking lot can be a little tough to maneuver around if its busy, but thats about it. Highly recommend this place if your visiting or a local.

I know that this establishment is popular for how great its menu is, but I love it because of the people that work here! Marco and his team never cease to amaze me with how much they genuinely love serving their customers and how much effort they put into building connections with each individual that comes through their door!

Common Grounds is a wonderful family owned business in Brownwood, TX. The owners are almost always there helping out, and are super friendly. The staff is kind and does a great job getting orders out even during busy rushes. The coffee is the best in town and the food selections offer a fare you dont see at other places.

The coffee was strong and mellow, just perfect. I had the Mediterranean turkey salad, and it could have been made a lot nicer with more darker greens and feta cheese.

Common Grounds Coffeehouse, a great place to meet with friends or just hang out and read a book. The customer service is awesome, the food really good and the coffee is always fresh. Recommend the soup of the day and they also make great breakfast burritos. Check them out, great people.

Best brisket burritos ever

Stopped by here on my way out of Austin and I loved it! Cinnamon roll latte and breakfast burrito were both delicious. Super friendly staff as well. Will definitely be returning :)

HORRIBLE customer service. I have had my order made wrong two different times that I have been here. I drove all the way to Common Grounds to pick up my food and it was the complete wrong order. The owner told me that it was my fault and that I should listen to their employees better. Very unprofessional. I have never been somewhere where they blame a order mistake on a customer. I will not be coming back here anymore. The food is overpriced as well. Starbucks will be getting my money from now on.

One of my favorite coffee spots in the Big Country! Coffee is good, but the true gem to me is their goat cheese, corned beef, and roasted pepper panini. One of the best sandwiches Ive ever had.

Everything the ladies make in the back is fresh, they dont crack an egg until it is ordered. The only thing they need is hazelnut drizzle. Great environment. Adrian makes the best dry cappuccinos.
