I was stuck with a separated tire and Diane got me right in and taken care of for a safe trip back to Atlanta. They could not have been nicer!

We experienced a sidewall blow out on I95. Mavis came recommended by Dorsey Tire and boy are we glad! They had our special tires in stock, installed them quickly and had us back out on the road within the hour. Service was outstanding, remarkable in every way. We are certainly pleased that they were there ready to help us. Our living depends on our car and they went above and beyond to help us get back to driving. They were so sweet to our passenger, Diego, too. 5 stars should have a x10 multiplier. Thank you very much, Mavis, for wonderful service!

So thankful I found these guys!! Driving from FL to VA, I managed to drive over a screw about 10 miles from Brunswick, GA. A quick Google search lead me to Mavis Tires & Brakes! Jayson and his team were quite busy at their store, but they were able to squeeze me in, fix my tire, and send me on my way. Great little waiting area to spend time in while I waited. Seriously, if you are in the local area and need your car serviced or new tires (or a tire fix), definitely stop by Mavis - they truly were incredibly professional and so helpful in getting me back on the road. My wife and I are visiting St. Simon’s Island for our honeymoon and last night we found a nail in one of my tires as we were leaving the beach. We went to Firestone first this morning and they first said it would take 2hrs but once he saw my tire he said it wouldn’t be until tomorrow because they didn’t have the tire. He suggested Mavis and glad he did. We told him we were visiting and we had an appointment at 11 so no rush. Jayson, who was assisting me, said they would do their best and try to get me out as soon as possible. I told him no worries if it doesn’t work and to let us know if he can’t. The mechanics were true to their word and got us out of there in 45mins. Greatly appreciate the service, speed, and understanding. Im beyond thrilled to write this review, because my experience here made a very long day, a day I will NEVER forget. I was traveling from the Mountains in North Carolina to Florida and the air pressure in my tires was not reading right. When I tried to fix the problem, I ended up making it worse. I was recommended to Mavis and hobbled there on my spare from a gas station down the road. I explained, the best I could, my situation, and these amazing guys squeezed me in, checked my tire, got it back on, and reset the air pressure on my computer, so that I could get right back on the road. It was so nice to go into a place and not just be treated like a number. They treated a passing stranger like someone who had been going there for years. As nerve wracking as it was to be having tire issues on a 800-mile road trip, it made the last 400 miles so much better. I felt well taken care of, and Im so appreciative.

These guys are awesome. Im crazy busy and I finally had a Saturday where I could get my tires replaced which was a good thing too, because those puppies were bald. They busted their backs to get my car in the shop when I didnt even have an appointment, and I even forgot to give them the key to my anti-theft lugnuts, but they held my place in line long enough for me to get back over there and get it to them. Awesome dudes over here.

Very disappointed with this location! I was visiting my daughter in Brunswick and ran over something that became lodged in my tire. I went to the shop Monday evening but they were full and asked me return in the morning which was fine. I woke up to a completely flat tire but have a pump so was able to get to the shop. Upon arriving I was told it would be two hours so I left my car with them and returned 2 1/2 hrs later to find my car still not touched. When they finally pulled the car in they obviously thought I didn’t know what I was talking about because the tire wasn’t flat at that time. My vehicle never went on the lift and I never seen my tire taken off the car however 10 minutes later they assured me they had removed said item and fixed it. I outright questioned if the object had been removed and fixed and again he assured me it had. That was a LIE!! I had to drive back to Columbus and the tire continued to lose air all the way home (had to stop and get air twice). When I got home I inspected the tire where I had told them the object was located to find it still lodged in the tire!! Thank God I made it home without a blowout or getting stranded on the road! I took a photo when I got home. I’ll be headed to our local Mavis in the morning and asking to file a complaint because you can’t just tell people they are good to go without even examining the tire. Adding air is not enough when someone tells you they have something in their tire, need it repaired and are driving that day on the interstate!!

I recently had my brake pads replaced at Mavis Tires and Brakes in Brunswick. Jayson was very helpful during the whole process, and was able to replace my brake pads in no time. I am definitely going to be a returning customer for any car maintenance needs.

Amazing customer service and wonderful website. We started by making the appointment the evening before the services needed (about 10 o’clock at night), and the page is super friendly user. In the morning I received a call early to confirm, unfortunately I was asleep and did not take the call. Upon waking up I called the shop and Diane was awesome on the phone making sure we knew we were ready to be taking care of. Upon arrival to Mavis tires and brakes at discount prices, at 600 Mall Blvd., Diane was the person that took care of us with a smile. We mentioned to her that we live in Atlanta and we need to go due to the weather and she made it happen. We were headed home to Virginia on a Sunday afternoon with our travel trailer, and we blew a tire on 95. Upon inspection, we noticed the second tire had belts showing. These tires are only 2 years old and should have lasted. I called around every where trying to buy 1 tire and have it mounted so we could make it home no one could help. We stopped by Mavis and a very nice lady, Diane helped us. She had us in and out in 20 minutes. We are so grateful. Great Service.

I made an appointment on Wednesday this week for brake service at 10 AM. I got a call from Marvis Tires and Brakes early at 7:50 AM asking if I can be there at 8:00 AM. Obviously, I can be there in 10 minutes, so I ask if 8:30 is okay. They said they cant, and they suggest 8:30 on Thursday. I am happily okay with it since I make the appointment online and they might have not had it their system yet. Got my car their on Thursday at 8:30, checked-in, and waited for THREE HOURS. No one told that I was inline for service until I ask. They should have let me know that they dont have enough people to get it done. I wasted 3 hours for noting. They reschedule my appointment again on Sunday. I would be happy to reschedule, if they told me little earlier that they are very busy. I wish they had respected others time more

I was in town on vacation and needed an emergency tire. My car and I were treated with respect. I found the staff to be professional and friendly. I would definately use them again.

This place was a Godsend! I experienced an emergency situation while driving from FL to VA, encountered some road debris that I couldnt avoid in my Mustang. Got towed to this location and they were packed, it was basically like a min 5hr or next day service wait time. However Mike the customer service rep at the front desk said he would try to get my vehicle looked at sooner since I wasnt from the area and was passing through and he was able to get my car seen within the hour.They discovered it was the actual rim that was bent, I so wish it would have just been the tire ugh! Im super glad I got towed to this location though because the staff was super helpful in trying to assist me. I ended up having to stay overnight and Diane and Roger helped get me to the hotel and Jayson another tech helped pick me up from the hotel.I literally just needed one rim and the one shop that had one that could fit my car would only sell as a set and they wanted $1700 for it and there was no way I was paying that especially to them(they have terrible customer Service btw Rent a Wheel I would NEVER!). But Jayson came through big time and he was able to fix the rim without it breaking, put a new tire on and I was able to make it safely back home TODAY!!! Luckily I was only 1hr and a half away!I dont even want to think about what my experience would have been like if I had gone to a shop that didnt have thoughtful and kind people. Even though this experience was a pain in the rear Im super glad that at least I was in good hands. Thank you MAVIS IN BRUNSWICK!

I have never had such a good experience w car repair. In my book, they are perfect. The new Manager is amazing as well hes the one that I felt with. Very welcoming atmosphere where you feel comfortable as well as your kids the even have a special room section to keep them a little occupied:)

Very Disappointed with the service rendered here. Went in to get a couple new tires and an oil change. We dropped the car off before they opened with an appointment time of 8am. They didnt call until 3 oclock to say that the car was ready. When we arrived to pick it up we were informed that they forgot to do the oil change. They asked if we could wait another hour or so they could squeeze it in. Took it to the quick lube place and one of the new tires was over pressurized by 12 lbs. and the other was 10lbs low of pressure. This is not a place I would ever recommend, to anyone!

I would like to take a couple of minutes and tell everyone what an incredible experience I had with your store. I had just drove 7 1/2 hours to get to Brunswick to see my sister who is dying in the hospital there. Within an hour of getting into your town I had run over a huge nail and tire was going flat quickly. I pulled in and the parking lot was full. I went in and the nice guy told me it would be a FOUR hour wait! I almost broke down crying. I explained my situation to him and he kept assuring me that he would get to me as soon as he could. I sat there fully expecting to wait the four hours, I has no choice. Within a few minutes a guy came and got my car to replace the tire!! I was in and out within an hour. I have no idea what the guys name is but the receipt has Operator #6671 so hopefully this number is his. Tall guy with big blue eyes. Your store saved me that day and you will never know what that meant to me. I was able to make it to the hospital for my sister and made it back to Alabama safely. Got a screw in my tire on the way back from Savannah yesterday, was able to get an appointment today, and in less than two hours had my tire patched and alignment complete.Not only was the work quick and awesome, but the customer service from the ladies up front, Diane in specific, and the gentlemen working in the back was amazing.10/10 recommend for anyone in the area!

I called them 45 minutes before their published hours say they’re closed and asked if they could patch a tire for us, as my family was on a trip across the country. He declined to help and told us to wait until the next morning. I had no other choice but to keep driving with a screw in my tire since I couldn’t find any other companies nearby that had published evening hours. I was disappointed that they wouldn’t help my family with this relatively quick safety-related job. I could have understood if it was only 10 minutes before they closed.

I went and had some new tires put on at this place, I was told 1 price, and then at the appt time, after drop off, I was told they didnt have enough of the size tires I needed. So I had to upgrade to a higher price tire. I wasnt happy about it.but watcha gonna do at this point. So at the time of payment, I definitely was experiencing sticker price shock. It was $100 more than I was expecting. But I have tires.the customer service was nice and I am sure I probably will visit again.

LIED TO ME ABOUT THE CONDITION OF MY BRAKE PADS. SENT ME HOME WITH UNSAFE BRAKES.Probably one of the worst experiences Ive every had at a tire shop. I went in to get my oil changed and brake pads checked for squeaking. I made an appointment online only to receive a call saying that there were no appointments available, but I could drop my car off in the morning and pick it up three hours later. So far... not horrible.At the end of the day, I still hadnt received a call to pick it up, so I phoned in and the man I spoke to told me that it would be done soon. After I arrived to pick it up, I had to wait for ANOTHER HOUR. In the end, they changed my oil but didnt change my brake pads. They told me I was at 70% and the pads would be fine until my next oil change. But, on the way home, I heard grinding and knew something was wrong. Im at Brakes 4 Less by the Walmart and they just told me my rear brakes are METAL ON METAL.The carelessness and incompetence at this Mavis is a joke.

I found a nail in my tire on a Saturday and it could have really ruined my weekend plans. They were very busy, I had no one to pick me up so I had to wait on my vehicle. So most of the customers had problems (of course) but the staff was very professional and approached every customer’s need with a sense of urgency. My problem was resolved very quickly and while I waited I noticed every customer was being cared for with a high level of professionalism and care. I can’t recommend them enough.

I recently had my breaks repaired at the Brunswick location. I am very pleased with the quality of service and work they’ve done on my car.

Regretful encounter with these folks reminded me what a lousy business this is. Overpriced and unprofessional. Would never step foot inside the door of one of these stores again. You will probably end up regretting it if you ever decide to invest in a set of tires with these folks. The worst tire experience I’ve ever had. Never again..

That was great considering what they had to do! Would definitely recommend to anyone and would be my regular auto shop if I were a local!

Employees are very helpful and try to work with you the best they can. They are upfront when something is not in the store, and will give an exact date of delivery. I had no costs that I was not told about. My car was done in the expected time they provided me with.

Had a flat tire with a broken valve on Saturday morning with a 12 hour drive ahead of us, and the tow truck recommended bringing us to Mavis. They were able to put in a rubber valve and get us back on the road in under one hour even though they were slammed. Jason was very transparent and helpful!

Traveling from NC. Battery died in shopping center next door. Manager called and got car jumped. Replaced battery so we could enjoy the rest of our trip. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I discovered I had a screw in my tire on a Sunday morning. This was one of the only places open in the area. When I arrived I was checked in immediately. I did not have an appointment but they worked quickly to get my vehicle in and repair the tire. Service was great, the staff was friendly and very professional. I would highly recommend you this place if you need tires or service.

I was very impressed by the service I received. I was on a tight schedule and they replaced two tires mounted and balanced at a great price in a very respectful time. They informed me of potential issues my vehicle could have and what I could have done to prevent issues. I will most definitely be returning for any brake or tire related purchases in the future.

Took my car to Mavis because I had a nail in my tire. It was Sunday so I was grateful they were open. I was lucky because after removing the nail the tire wasnt leaking so they didnt charge me. Worst place to buy tires, this must be full of fake reviews. They’ll make you reschedule over and over again then finally tell you it will take them several hours because they do not manage appointments whatsoever. I needed a tire patch and went down to my usual tire place, but they were just too busy and turned me right around. After the third attempt they still wouldnt see me, so I tried mavis and I am so glad I did. Though they were busy too but they fit me in and now they have a new loyal customer!!

My grandson went to this place only to have them take a tire off of a rim and put it on another rim. They not only told him that he had 4 very bad tires and they couldnt do that but also said he had a nail in one none was true!!! Tires were almost new that he had on there and they came from Mavis!!!

Ive had all sorts of experiences at different tire shops. I have even worked at Service Shops in all positions from a tire tech to a store manager. Mavis Tire in Brunswick has by far exceeded any level of service I have ever received. Diane and Jayson went above and beyond to find my tires and the attention to detail was amazing. From making sure I got exactly what I was looking for to being sure I got the best price they could give me, it was a terrific experience. I always tell everyone to make sure you have a guy, when it comes to car service. Someone you can just trust is looking out for you. Its not always easy to find but I have my guy now inside the doors of mavis tire in brunswick!

Diane and Roger at the Altama Connector Store in Brunswick, Ga were Great. They took good care of our Automobile needs and kept us informed while we waited. This was our first time at Mavis Tire and Brakes and we will definitely use them again.

This is my second time at this location with my other vehicle. Staff was professional and site was clean as before. Due to Covid, limited on number of customers allowed to wait for vehicle so I recommend dropping off and picking up when done.
