Earthy, wholesome, warm, vibes. From the music and wooden furniture to the wonderful customer service. This was my first but definitely not my last time at this fine establishment.I feel ashamed that I have lived in Brunswick all my life and never tried this place! If you havent either, you must give them a try! Im not much of a coffee person, but Id say their caramel latte was the best coffee Ive ever had!Best thing about this place is the people feel real rather than the typical Squidward like: what do you want? Have a nice day. The staff here are pleasantly engaging and kind!

The young lady that made my coffee on Wedneday early afternoon was AWESOME! The coffee was magnificent....much better than the one on St. Simon (they were REALLY nice but my coffee was TERRIBLE but I didnt have the heart to tell them because of how sweet they were). Just understand that they make their own white chocolate, so ADD SUGAR.

Great little coffee stop on our trip from Florida. While there were smaller choices because of the virus, we liked what was available. Their medium roast was given an extra boost with a shot of espresso. They have cute cups, glasses, hooded sweatshirts, & long sleeved t-shirts.

The whole experience was lovely! The person who greeted us was very friendly, offered us some freshly made scones (which we couldn’t refuse even though we had just eaten - we did not regret it). Delicious!The decor and general feel of the place is very cozy. Personally, I’m not a coffee drinker, but the tea selection was a good variety and the display was very nice!But the chai tea latte was one of the best I have had - the foam consistency and flavor were outstanding. In other words, well done!!

The employees are super sweet and the coffee tastes great! but maaaan, what do y’all put in that stuff?! i drank a large hot caramel latte before my shift at 8am. i finished it around 10am and it was downhill from there. i got a slight cramp on the right side of my stomach, that progressed into a huuuuge stabbing pain. overtime, i felt a lot of pressure build up, and by the end of my shift at 2 pm, i was hunched over, dizzy from the pain. i drove the few minutes home and BUSTED into my apartment, barely locking the door, rushed to the toilet, and had to take a solid 10 minutes before i could even get a bowel movement going through the pain! but the coffee was super rich and tasted great, so ain’t no complaints :))

I really enjoyed my visit to this coffee shop. The person who served me was very kind and patient, answering all my questions about flavors and even asking me how my day was going! I tried the pumpkin spice latte, which was delicious. It had an excellent cinnamon flavor. I prefer strong coffee, and I forgot to get less sweetener, so it was a little sweet for me. I also tried the bacon cheddar rosemary scone and that was delicious. It had a great taste from the rosemary. I cant wait until this shop is able to have dine in again. It looks like a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and a book!

Great little local coffee shop. We had dirty chai lattes and I am not sure why there isnt one of these in every town in the country. Great place to meet up with friends and cozy seating to sit and relax. A definate must go.

Wake Up Coffee is currently the best option to get coffee, tea, macarons, and muffins in the Brunswick area. The service is super friendly and the atmosphere is laid back, relaxing and comfortable. There is a casual, covered patio area that is perfect for days that are not too hot. It includes a great sofa, a couple of wing chairs and a picnic table. The seating inside is a little less comfy than the sofa, though the old church pews lining the front windows are perfect when having a work session. Bring along a laptop with full charge if you are planning to work, as there are far too few power outlets available. Try the chai latte or honey vanilla raspberry latte if you are looking to mix things up a little. Both are delicious. All in all, a superior coffee shop experience in Brunswick.

Adorable roadside coffee shop with a solid if not overwhelming selection of coffee and snacks. This shop could pass for a dockside coffee stand. Maybe its a coffee shack. Anyway you cut it, this place passes as exactly what most people are looking for in a coffee shop.

Such a cute little place! I had a plain iced latte - very tasty. Service was fast. Interesting artwork and a cool enclosed seating area - its all windows, so you feel like youre sitting outside but are completely protected from the elements. It does look like one side had one of those modern glass-windowed roll up garage doors that I assume they open on nice days. Bathroom is clean with a really neat cabinet space to set your belongings on - you know how awful it is when you go into a public bathroom and you have nowhere to hang your purse, put your coat, etc. Yek. Anyway, nice little coffee shop. Five stars all the way

My wife and I were visiting the area and decided to give this place a try and we were glad we did! The coffee we had here was some of the best we have had! Even the Chai Latte was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. Had to visit multiple times before we had to leave!

I attend a meeting here once a month and the employees are so friendly and helpful. The baked goods are delicious and I like the lavender lemonade. There are options besides coffee; lemonade, tea, a variety of bottled waters. Many students meet here for study groups so it has a youthful casual vibe. Its a good place to linger.

Such a cool vibe and there was a neat little reading nook. My latte was delicious as was the Blueberry muffin. Staff were super friendly and I love the reusable mugs/plates instead of paper or styrofoam. The rooms were sectioned off in such a way that even when busy it seemed like my friend and I were far away from other people.

This is our go to coffee shop every morning, nothinga beats their coffee. Not to mention their homemade pastry and we will literally drive to both locations if one has the no bake cookies and the other doesnt! Im ADDICTED to the island mocha! The coconut milk is so refreshing and the chocolate is perfectly sweet, best coffee EVER.

Both the Brunswick and St. Simons location is nice and chill. Love how they have such a delicious selection of finger foods, teas, coffee, etc. This local coffee shop is my favorite place to go by myself or with friends. Come check them out!

Pretty busy when we went so it took some time, but every drop of my Turtle Mocha was delicious!

The staff are always friendly. The coffee and tea creations are simply delicious, regardless of what you select. If you have an idea for a new creation, the staff are usually willing to try it out on you. Great atmosphere as well.

I had triple mocha latte and it was decent, I also ordered the bacon and cheese scone and it was mediocre. I was very put off by the request of gratuity at the register, I tip according on how good the waitress is.

Wake Up has effectively cancelled out all chain coffee places for my family. Its always friendly with excellent service and product. When you realize that it exists to help struggling farmers and artisans receive fair wages around the world, it makes it that much more important to support this wonderful place.

The place is cozy, welcoming. The staff is friendly and polite. However staff here charges for 20oz of coffee but consistently deliver about 16. Cups are served 1/3 empty. Shameful.

This place is basically a hole in the wall. But those places are the best anyway. From the sustainably sourced products to the fresh made baked goods this place is great. For those who like Starbucks kind of coffee, but dont want the super bitter taste.

This coffee shop is a fantastic beach of the original St. Simons island location. The coffee is fantastic and the staff are friendly and helpful. All the coffee is roasted by Wake Up and the coffee is sourced from individual farms of the owners selection. Highly recommend!

Wake Up is hands down THE place to serve all your caffeinated needs. The owners are locals, wonderful people with a beautiful family. Everyone is made to feel welcome here, from the run-of-the-mill college student, to the crunchy artsy hippie type, to the frazzled mama who just needs a moment of quiet. The prices are fair, and the coffee is both delicious and fair-trade. These people care about the community, and regular showcase local artists. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about Wake Up. Its a home for all. :)

Quick and convenient

Wake Up has got some of the best coffee around. The smoothies are made with fresh fruit and are so satisfying. Sometimes the service is slow because theres only 1 barista, and I was in a hurry so that was a bummer. But it was worth the wait.
