Decidedly less than wonderful. The staff are delightful. The place is bright, spotlessly clean and cheerful.Let’s start with the sausage kolache. As others have said, maybe too much bread to meat ratio. A pinky sized sausage in a large hot-dog bun sizes roll. Would you enjoy a meat stick in a hotdog bun?The FLAVOR of the kolache is excellent.Now the sad…. The Apple fritter. It was this large fat blob. No discernible apple bits. No distinct cinnamon flavor. No crispy outside and chewy insides like several of my favorite Shipley locations. I couldn’t eat more than second bite.Just a rather unpleasant burnt-oil flavor and aftertaste.

Donuts are good workers are nice and always doing there jobs. Think the menu should be a little friendlyer like have a picture of the one that are out to sale like the chocolate glaze not the top with chocolate I did know there was one. I had tried one the other day and goodness they are so goodThen there a butterfly something I have tried it I guess Ill order one soon and see what it looks like and taste like. Over all a great place

These donuts are so good! They have a great variety and the ladies at this location are super sweet. The devils food and the chocolate glazed are the best if youre a chocolate lover but the bear claw and the maple donuts are pretty good too 👌

The donuts are delicious! Their sausage kolache are a big disappointment to say the least. The ratio between sausage and bread is way off. The sausage is approximately 3 inches long and 1/2” thick that fit inside bread that is 3” wide and 6” long ( yes, we measured them). For $2.50 each, they are not worth it. I’ll start going elsewhere.

I was in the area for an interview and stopped for a little snack. I sat out in my car and my battery died! One of the staff members drove up a curb to help me jump start my car!The donut holes were superb =P

Not a donut eater. I stop there sometimes because my grandson wants his favorite donut before we go to his swimming classes. Employees are super nice and its very clean inside the facility. They have a very high frequency of customers. They have a huge variety of donuts and rolls and my grandson can absolutely confirm that the merchandise has his approval. Personally, I dont eat sweets.

Not all Shipleys are the same, a sausage, cheese and jalapeno kolashes you think would have jalapenos like other Shipleys in the state, nope this location uses jalapeno jack cheese instead. Try less bread and real jalapenos and I could score this a little better. Just comparing to other locations

This is normally the one we go to because it’s close to school. This morning though, the girl was more interested in talking to her boyfriend through text on her Apple Watch than paying attention to what she was doing.I’m sure she’s new, so I don’t fault her for that, just for getting confused and overcharging me twice. She wasn’t paying attention to the person in front of her and instead was more interested in what was happening on her watch.Donuts were great as always. 😊

Great no one makes doughnuts like Shipleys my Grandma used to take me when I was a kid

I grew up on Shipley Do-Nuts, so I may be biased, but I love them. Their donuts are unique to other donut shops, especially their glazed donuts, which are delicious when they are fresh. Give them a try, you wont regret it!

Donuts are always good. But this place says open till 1pm. I have went here multiple times around 1130-12pm and they are always out of everything. I understand one time, maybe twice, but every single time?

Theyre not my cup of tea, but thats not Shipleys fault. If you like well-made, attractive, mega sugary donuts in dozens of varieties, and youve got a way to clean up your eating area afterward (and maybe some wet-naps for your fingers), Shipleys is definitely for you.Their kolaches were less impressive than their donuts— think big, sweet, airy, dusty dinner rolls with a little smoky hidden somewhere inside— but still pretty tasty.

It was so savory. i had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. food is similar to a place in san francisco i liked.

Everything is delicious here except the weak coffee. Its ok but for a donut place Id like to have better coffee! The staff arent falling all over themselves to be friendly but they are fast and pleasant enough.

Worst customer service. I had 2 simple orders at the drive-thru and they told me they would only take one and I would need to get down if I wanted a second order. They gave me a crappy batch but Greens Prairie made up for it. This location needs to hire friendly staff.

Today we stopped for donuts, kids got off and bought 4 donuts. When we get home they are completely smushed, you could tell that whoever grabbed them completely smashed them with her hand. The servers name was Haley I asked because I will be calling corporate. We went back and let me tell you that the manager Karla instead of helping and being understanding was making comments as if we had done it on purpose. She thought that she could fix it with free items, and I explained we didnt want free items we wanted what we paid for but done correctly. I felt offended by this. This staff is rude and obviously angry to be smashing donuts. Never coming back!! Horrible horrible horrible!!

Mediocre service and food compared to other Shipleys.

This location hasnt always been the nicest and today is no exception. I always get glazed and iced donuts and she squished them all in a small box. I cant stand when my glazed get icing on them. So I ask her if they have the large box like they have in south college station (which might I add, they are always nice) and she said oh yeah, we have those but I didnt use it, and hands me my bag. Maybe you should ask next time. I know to ask next time, I just assumed since south college station did it this location would do it. My mistake this time.

So, I used to LOVE Shipleys Do-Nuts but Ive recently become slightly disenchanted with them and these are my reasons why: First of all, I used to wake up early and travel many miles past many places that sold fountain drinks just to get a Diet Coke from Shipleys. I dont know why, but they were amazing. Well, theyve switched to Pepsi. Diet Pepsi is NOT Diet Coke. Also, the last three times I bought donuts from Shipleys, the iced donuts had a disgusting amount of icing on them- and I have a big sweet tooth but this was unedible. The people that work there- or rather some of the people (to be fair) I guess are just dull. I asked a question and two employees just stared at me. They didnt indicate to me that they couldnt hear or understand me, they just didnt respond. I repeated the question just in case they didnt at all hear me, then they stared at each other until I just gave up and told them nevermind. That question, by the way, was Are the donuts back to being iced the normal amount, because the last 2 times they had way too much icing and I couldnt eat them. Well, the answer wouldve been NO- They still are grossly over-iced but they didnt answer me. Anyway, Shipleys still has a place in my heart but with all the extra sugar theres no place for them in my hips or my pancreas.Oh- to be fair-Shipleys quit carrying Coca Cola 12 years ago, I remember the first time I walked into the other Bryan location and found this out. Still, everytime I go Im bummed out by this. But people dont go to Shipleys for a good Diet Coke, they go for the best donuts in town and thats what they sell there.

The Kolaches are nice and big, and almost three dollars a pop, but its just all bread. There is a tiny sausage inside, but its 99.9% just a lot of bread. Donuts are great, coffee is ok. Prices are high for what youre paying for.

First time we come to Shipley’s and they out of kolaches. It’s not even closing time. 👎🏼

The donuts are fine, but they cut corners on the sausage kolaches. It took 25 minutes to get through the line though, and then I was treated rudely when I asked about the delay. I wont be back.

Staff is polite, but donuts are sloppy, poor example of a donut, purchased chocolate filled bars, dough was raw and soggy, attempted to pickup donut and the bottom fell out and the bavarian creme went everywhere, will never eat at this location again.

These Donuts are no joke one of the most addictive foods I have ever eaten. I could swear there was crack in the frosting, seeing as I can eat 5 or 6 dozen at a time.
