My family stopped in today for a eye exam the wife and daughter. The sign on the door says mask required. We were the only people at this place with a mask on. Everyone else walked in the door with no mask on. The staff here did not enforce anything to the people coming in with no mask. Total health risk at Nationwide Vision. We will not be going back to this place for any future exams. NO MASK NEEDED HERE AT THIS LOCATION, PATIENTS TOTALLY DISREGARD THE SIGN ON THE FRONT DOOR READING MASK REQUIRED. EMPLOYEES DO NOT ENFORCE THE MASK WEARING POLICY.

I went in today to have my glasses adjusted. I was greeted by Samantha and after checking my temperature she helped me with no waiting. Samantha was very professional and pleasant. After a couple of adjustments I was good to go. She mentioned if necessary be sure to come back. Very satisfied 👍

If you want to wait hours for your appointment then go here. If you CAN go somewhere else, I suggest you do. Every time I take my children here we wait at least 45 minutes to even be called. It literally takes forever! The staff is nice but the fact that they over book people is really not cool. I personally don’t like to waste my time. So if you can go somewhere else you definitely should unless you got time to burn.

I am pretty disappointed in the way another situation was handled over the phone.My family and I have been seeing Dr Williams for many years, happily with her, although it has seemed over the years many new front desk people and managers cycle through. Today my son called stating he needed an appt because his eye was red....which is true, but there was definitely more behind that, which the.front desk lady (manager)..... didnt get the whole story because she was interrupting when I would say something, put me on hold for 10 minutes and then get back on to raise her voice at me shes been there a long time and knows what shes doing....and by the end of the phone call, canceling my appt and hanging up before I had a chance to even know really what was going on!? +Bottom line, ridiculously below average customer service. Definately not a place i want to go into while already having stress come from what going on in my son!

My daughter made an appointment a month in advance two days before appointment they called and canceled. Then told her unfortunately there computers were down and couldnt make her a new one. I went to my appointment waited over two weeks for my glasses and was told just my left lens is on backorder dont know when they will get it. Also they are very expensive they tell you they take certain eye plans then just before your appointment they call and tell you they cant find anything about it.Wont be going back. Have went there for several years.

I was there at the same time as Stephanie E. As soon as she walked in she started complaining. She caused a scene for no reason and even yelled at the staff. The manager tried to calm this Karen down but she kept going on and on about how long her appointment was taking. She even asked another patient waiting “are you ok waiting this long” he answered “yes I’m patient” 🤣 when she walked out the door she turned around and she SPIT ON THE DOOR! She forgot to mention that on her review. That’s lowkey embarrassing 🥴I can’t believe she’d do something like that especially cause WE’RE IN A PANDEMIC! I hope they don’t ever let her back here !!

If I could give this place a negative star I would!! I dont need to say this last year has been a hard one for all. Everyone is still adapting to new policies such as mask and social distancing. That said I came here with my son and my daughter we were all wearing a mask. As I opened the door a female worker started yelling but I could not hear she was yelling at all of us to stop for temp. checks. I responded by saying so sorry I could not hear you being a nurse I respect this policy however, when she approached she said very rudely who is this appt. for you all cant be here. I said I was told I had to come in because my son is a minor she said okay she needs to leave pointing to my daughter. I gave car keys and said ok...she then said after paper work is signed you can go outside too. In the meantime we continued to wait at the door. When called to the front area I turned in paper work and put my pen down on accident in a wrong area. She put her hands up and said now I have to clean all of these pens. By this time I was feeling like I cant do anything right. I was dressed in my scrubs and afterwards going to go to work and had made up my mind I just need to get his eye exam I will buy frames some where else I just wanted to leave. They finally called my son in the back about 30 min late. When she gave me my id cards back she gave them to me with out cleaning...so I thought wow you treated me badly and embarrassed me on something I did on a accident but yet you are giving my cards back with out cleaning of the hands so I explained cross contamination and received negative feedback from the store manager and her employee I could not even get a word in and told them hey...let me just explain my feelings here they kept yelling and wouldnt let me speak and then said now you can wait outside within 30 sec. my son who is a teenager followed he stated mom they told me I had to get out of the appt. my teenager said he he felt so uncomfortable from the start. He said that provider had just started his exam and the store manager came in telling him that his appt. is over and to leave the store. So this being said...we are all under stress and learning new things. Maybe in the start if her approach was with kind words and tone the visit would have not gone so sour so quick. I will never go back here again. My son has been coming here since we moved to Buckeye. I never in my life felt so embarrassed or disrespected at a store. I called insurance and I also think they charged the insurance I will find out by Monday. I guess I just wanted to say is esp. in these times stores need to be kind and help educate with out attitude many stores are closing down you think they would be practicing better customer service.

Don’t bother making appointments with them, they said they don’t honor them. My wife made an appointment online and drove to this store at the selected time. When she arrived they told her that it was more of a suggested time and that there was a line. They lost our business. Unfortunately, no one called from employees to follow up on appointment time. So you show up thinking that because no one followed up you have an appointment.

My appointment was at 4pm today and i walked through the door at 4:03 and immediately turned down because my check in was at 3:45, something I was not informed about when I booked my appointment two weeks ago. I took time off work, planned for this appointment, stood in traffic, wasted time and gas for such an inconsiderate treatment. I could have went elsewhere in the two weeks I was waiting for this appointment. She offered to take me tomorrow at 11am meaning they have availability for appointments right away, but who wants to go back to a place that had no consideration.

I cannot understand why there are so many negative reviews. I think from the minute I walked in the door everyone was so nice to me and polite. And it was a Saturday morning too. Busy! Every question I asked they answered. The eye doctor was great and very helpful. They do have chairs to sit on so I dont understand why people would say they dont. I wrote her name down but I must have lost it. I am pretty sure it was Alma she was so helpful helping me to pick out glasses finding what I wanted and everything that goes along with her job. These people were great! And they gave me great service!!! i would definitely recommend them to other people. Very helpful!!!! :)

I wish there was an option not to give a star. Do not make the mistake of coming here. I arrived early to my appointment only to be seen an hour later. Im not sure how that happens when my appointment was the second appointment of the morning. I purchased some glasses at this store. A few days later, I saw that the glasses I bought were $50.00 cheaper at other stores! I called to see if they would price match and I was on hold for 15 minutes and was accidentally hung up on twice by two different people. I was told that they price match on contact lenses but she wasnt sure about frames. It took days to hear back from the manager only for me to learn that they wont price match. I do not recommend buying from this store. Shop around and Im confident that youll find the designer frames you like much cheaper at other stores. I will never come back here again.

I went to Nationwide Vision in August 2017 to get a pair of glasses and had a great experience. The ladies at the front counter were helpful and polite. The Doctor took her time with me during the exam and answered all my questions even though they were very busy.Three months later I dropped my glasses and one of the lenses came out. I took the glasses and the lens back to Nationwide Vision and they were able to fix it for me. It was such a great surprise, I was expecting them to have to send it out to get it fixed.I have no problem referring people to this location to get glasses. In fact Im taking a friend there next week.Im writing this review now because I saw how many negative reviews there are and they just dont reflect the experience I had.

So I had originally given this place a 1 star 2 years ago for a horrible experience. I went back yesterday for my son and it was a total change! The ladies were very kind and awesome. My son had nail polish on because he likes the colors and he was complimented! This was a great experience and I appreciate them for getting us done so quickly too!

Theyre okay. A little pricey for the quality of service and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. They have a very high turn over rate (staff). The robust woman up front is hateful. I didnt have the heart to tell her that her pants were split. I figured that was payback enough for being a jerk.

I had my eyes checked then gave them my original frames to have the new lenses put into my old frames. Paid in advance after they called their factory to see if they could use my frames and the cost to have it done. After a month of not being called. I went into the office to be told they would call to check why they werent back yet, and they would call me. Another week went by and I called to check. Then I was told my glasses were not going to be ready because they couldnt use my frame. By then I had changed insurance companies and so now I have no glasses and no insurance to cover the 50% savings on glasses, if I had been told originally I could have picked up a new frame. We dont have a lot of options on what we can do. They told me to come back and talk to the manager a different day. Now another week has gone by and nothing up to now has been done to fix the situation. The responsibility of this business to make their customers happy is not a concern of Nationwide Vision here in Buckeye, AZ

Very disappointed in the customer service. I bought 3 pairs of glasses there. Before I could wear one pair the handle broke when I took it out of the case. Took another 3 weeks to get the pair returned back to me. They never called me to come pick them up. I had to the inquire what was the delay. Today, I go to get another pair adjusted and the girl immediately said she wouldnt be responsible if the frame broke. I told her I unnderstood and had also read the disclaimer. She would not even try. Why would you offer the service, if you cannot comply? Never have we experienced such a lack of customer service at any other Nationwide Vision. We will not be going back. They were just like robots there. People milling around waiting for someone to at least acknowledge their presence. Glasses are not cheap and they try to get you to add on so much stuff till its well over $300 for a pair. Laying that kind of money out should at least qualify to get your frames adjusted.

I would give this place 0 starts if possible. I have tried to get in to see the optometrist twice. The first time I came in for an appointment and stood around wait for about 40min. At the 40min. Mark I heard the one of the staff members inquiring on how to contact my insurance provider. I walked up to the desk and asked if they had not yet contacted my insurance provider and the response was, “we are doing it now”. Then I asked how much longer the wait would be, which is when they told me they had to get ahold of the insurance provider and then they would let me know. I told them to cancel my appointment and I would try again at a later date.My 2nd attempt, I called and made an appointment, in which I specifically asked them to please contact my insurance provider ahead of time. I called on the day of my appointment to make sure this has been done, the person on the phone advised me that they didn’t have a number for my provider available, I asked them why I had not been called and she said she would try to do it at that point and time. This place can not get it together. It’s a waste of time and the staff is a mess.

Unprofessional! Had me call my vision insurance and fill out THEIR form to verify my own benefits... WHAT? Thats absurd! Then proceeded to tell me I hadnt met my medical insurance deductible in which I met my out of pocket max 7 months ago! Stacy kept insisting because their medical office (3rd party) said so. I said lets call the insurance right now.....sorry we cant she said, then lets call the 3rd party medical office, no we cant it wont do any good she says. So you want me to pay what I dont owe you and deal with getting reimbursed OR see another optometrist for the medical part of the exam. WHAT? I was getting upset so she got her office manager who also offered zero solutions. We cant call anyone, we cant fix the issue and blah blah blah. She was not willing to even attempt a solution! I should have left when they had me sit in the lobby providing my personal information like ss number to my vision company because they are too lazy to do their job. 2 and 3 ladies at the desk chatting away but cant take time for your repeat customer?The whole time they treated me like I was lying or something! I told them sorry but you cant even attempt to resolve the problem and expect me to be seriously inconvenienced because you cant pick up a phone? Ill go elsewhere and walked out. I was horrified about the whole experience. Visionworks in Goodyear had no problem verifying both insurances (verified max out of pocket so I owed zero for the medical portion, LIKE I SAID). They were snippy and sarcastic. Really bad customer service here!!!!

I really appreciate Dr. Williams abilities. As someone with a condition, that hardly anyone knows about, it is good to know that Dr. Williams is willing to listen to my needs and even take it upon herself to research the disability. I will also add that because of this disability, I have seen numerous eye specialist all across the state and none have gotten my eye glass prescription as accurate as she has. I will continue to see Dr. Williams as long as she stays around. Thanks!

Please do not go to the one on Watson, worst custom service. I ordered 2 pair, 1 being sunglasses took 3 weeks for the first pair and then was told that the other pair had to be reordered, cancelled now waiting for a refund. Didnt even bother to make sure that the glasses fit. So disappointed in this place. The only nice thing I can say is I liked the Dr.

If I could give this place a -5 stars I would. The front office women can not answer simple questions about pricing, insurance ect... I looked past this and still made an appointment. I was told my appointment time was 1230, I showed up at 1210 only to be told I was 10 minutes late and they could no longer see me.... they needed me to check in at 1200. That would have been nice of them to mention the day before!!! I asked to speak to a manager only to have the optometrist be completely rude. HORRIBLE place. It’s also very dirty inside and the surrounding area is dirty as well. Good luck to anyone who tries to use this place!

You think their corporate office would read these reviews and do something about this place. Customer service is terrible. They will put people in front of you on purpose just to mess with you. This place has a bad reputation in town for being awful. Very unprofessional. My wife was there 15 minutes before another customer walked in and was placed in front of her without an appointment. They did this in retaliation for her asking what the wait time was on the phone. Read the reviews of this place before you stop in better off just going to another one.

The WORST SERVICE EVER. Glasses took over a month to come in.. A MONTH. The first set they ordered with wrong prescriptions came in within the 10 days, but had to be sent back because they were wrong! Another 15 days later I call ask when they might come in they said still at lab. I asked if they could put a rush on them, they saw said, yeah, for extra cost. I think since this was because of THEIR mess up they should have done that free of charge! And now another 9 days later still not in. And still waiting! Just very unprofessional. I mean accidents happen, but this is the 2nd time they ordered wrong glasses. I thought the first time was just a mistake, but now the 2nd time around the same thing. Will not ever go back

The manager was asking if i had a bad day because i was nicer the last time i was there. How am i going to be in a good mood after that? I had an appointment and i had to wait an hour and a half. Horrible customer service and skill.I recently had an eye exam and had them make me a new set of bifocal lenses with new frames. They made the bifocal start 1/8 of an inch from the top of the lenses, therefore I couldn’t use them for driving or ever day use. Went back today and told them I needed the lenses redone and I’d be willing to pay the difference. Never did the receptionist make eye contact. Without looking at me she said I’d have to have another eye exam. I told her no and why would I when I can order them online. Again, not looking at me or apologizing for their flaw in my lenses, she said again they would not fix them until I had another eye exam. No wonder this place has one of the worst ratings

They were very nice and helpful. Went without an appointment for an eye issue a few months back and they got me in to see the doctor right away. Had to fill out paperwork but that is normal at any doctors office. The manager even gave me a discount on the exam. Being that this is one of the only places in Buckeye, they are pretty busy office with longer wait but I will return to get glasses as they had some great looking frames and good prices. People need to realize these ladies work hard and serve the public (wich is not always pleasant as Ive witnessed customers being rude/using foul language to staff at some establishments) but overall they are very friendly and helpful. I recently went to Dr. Williams office because I needed a second opinion. My regular eye doctor prescribed me an inaccurate prescription not just once, but twice, despite the fact I told her my glasses werent working for me. I was referred to Dr. Williams from a neighbor so I decided to give her office a call. They were able to get me in the next morning. When I explained my situation to Dr. Williams, she listened to me, reviewed my prescriptions and identified what the problem most likely was. She gave her exam in a way that was thorough and precise. My new prescription from her work perfectly!

This place has TERRIBLE customer service. I was trying to make an appointment for an eye exam while I was in the walmart next door, I must have called 3 or 4 times with NO ANSWER, went to there voicemail. I thought okay, maybe they are closed and possibly there hours are listed wrong so I go over after I am finished shopping. Turns out they are open, and there are THREE ladies sitting behind the little counter, I walked up and asked if they had any appointments at all available for today, they told me that they were completely booked.. Keep in mind the store was completely and utterly empty. I then asked if there phones were working because I tried to make a call with no answer, they said they have not received any calls in the past 2 hours. REALLY? Thats why your voicemail picked up and said it was the nationwide vision on I-10 and Watson, all 4 times I tried to call? Needless to say I did not make an appointment for another day, I just went so somewhere else. Also the interaction that I did have with the ladies behind the counter was VERY rude, like I was interrupting them by being there.

The inconvenience of this place is ridiculous. I called on a Thursday afternoon for over an hour to make an appointment, and no one answered the phone. I decided yesterday to make my appointment online, and waited through the 24 hour timeframe they needed to call back and confirm. Never got a callback. Three of my kids get their glasses at this location every year, and every year they say theyll give me a call when their glasses come in. They never do, and a pair once sat in their office for a week before I had to call them to find out where they were. You dont even deserve the one star, but since Im never coming back, and taking my three kids with me, leaving you with four less customers, I decided to throw you a bone. I wont be recommending you to anyone.

Absolutely terrible. One of the ladies who help with the glasses are amazing but all they want is your money. I have spent 300 alone on ONE pair of glasses, not to mentioned I purchased an aditional pair and some sunglasses... This is counting the contact & glasses examination which I paid out of pocket because they do not except my insurance....... They then told me Id have to have another exam to be fitted for daily contacts - when my prescription is still active and it has not been a year. I will never spend another cent in there and wouldnt recommend them to ANYONE.

Worst Customer Service ever!!!! We ordered my six year daughters replacement glasses going on two weeks ago. We were assured they would put a rush on then as she has a very strong prescription and cannot see without them. I have gone in to check on them several times and have been repeatedly lied to right to my face about their shipping status. Yet again today we were told another story. I have no idea when her glasses will arrive. The majority of the office staff is RUDE and unhelpful. The only reason I gave them two stars is because the young lady that helped us on the day we ordered them was friendly but I havent seen her back since. Bought a pair of glasses from this location not 6 months ago. One lens snapped in half due to stress from the frame. Went in to get it replaced and come to find out the frames were limited edition and can not be replaced so now I either have to pay 400 to 500 for new glasses or go without, because my insurance wont cover a second pair.

Im literally shaking after leaving here. The absolute worst customer service and completely incompetent eye dr. My son has an eye turn and the dr refused to make glasses for him. She claims she doesnt even know how to make glasses for someone with a lazy eye. Never in my life have I felt so discriminated against. Now my poor 5 year old is so embarrassed bc of his eye. If she doesnt even know how to make glasses for someone with a lazy eye shes in the wrong business. She needs to be fired!

I notice this location has a few negative reviews for their customer service, but I have gone to this location multiple times in the past 2 years and have never had any issues. Each time I call everyone is friendly, as well as when I go in to the location. I will continue to visit this location. (One thing...but I do not think its their fault... do not book your appointment online, there is no follow up. If you need to make an appointment, just call the local number).

Set up an appointment on the website on a Wednesday; called me on Friday to tell me they would have to cancel my appointment for Saturday but to call one day in advance to set up appointment. I had done it 2 days out. The following week set it up on Thursday and they left me a message that they only had 1 left for Saturday. Apparently doing it on the website is only a request for an appointment. So come Saturday I arrive 15 minutes late to my appointment due to a car crash and I was not greeted upon entering. After standing there for 2 minutes I am approached only to be told I have to reschedule since it was 4. Maybe if someone would have been quick to help me I could have gotten my appointment at 3:58 PM? Their was no apology just I have to reschedule and then she walked away to help someone else. I came for my yearly eye examinations with April Williams-Rutt. She is an amazing practiontioner and has such a memory for details regarding my particular situation. Always a BRAVO for her! Her ancillary staff are amazingly professional. From the check-in person, to the technician who did some eye testing and reviewed my medical history, to the office manager, Robbie, who helped me with my frame selection. All seem to truly have my best interest at heart. I do not have a vision plan under my medical insurance but Robbie was able to use discounts and AARP to help me with the final cost. I would not trust my eyecare with anyone else!

If I could give them zero stars I would. WORST PLACE EVER. Wait times are insane even with an appointment. Customer service is horrible as well, Ive been seen there a few times but this visit was definitely my last.

My daughter had a swollen eye and clearly needed help. My insurance required a $30 co-pay. They would not see her until I pay. I told them I would have it tomorrow and could give them my debt number. But no they refused to see my daughter. The part that is silly to me is they were going to charge the insurance for $200-300 for services. But option for noting since I didnt have the $30 at that very moment. Its called health care. But they really dont care at all.

I recently walked into Nationwide to see about thier specials, upon approaching the counter I never received a warm greet, just blank stares from all 4 girls behind the desk. I, of course, was the first to say hi and wondered how long they would have all just stared at me before they said Hi and how can I help you today.After feeling very uncomfortable, I still asked about the eyeglass specials in the advertisements and felt as though I was having to ask multiple questions to get all the information I needed to make a purchase, as if she didnt know what they were selling or that she was not wanting to give me info.I even asked if they had a military discount and she yes, but never told me what it was, which was weird. I guess that needed to be one of the multiple questions I asked also. After coaching her through her job I hesitantly made an appt. for an eye exam, but after thinking about how uncomfortable I was I called to cancel it, of course the female on the phone didnt suggest or ask if I wanted to reschedule, which I would have been a surprised if it was any other place than this facility.The deals seem great, but I am a firm believer that if the customer service sucks I dont care how great the deal is.

I hated this place! Almost everyone that worked there were rude and NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL! Not one single smile and nice comment were metion while we waited there for almost 2 hours! my mon felt uncomfortable because no one spoke spanish, therefore i had to translate her and had to cancel my appointment. I would not go back to any NATIONWIDE VISION! :(

I called Nationwide Vision to make an appointment to get new glasses, since its medically necessary for me to have glasses they told me that they do not accept my insurance. I hate the customer service and I will NOT be going back! worst place ever!!!!

One of the ladies who helped me with the lens exam was rude, in the end they gave me a discount plan that made the lenses have less magnification.
