Great prices for meat and good quality, also their shrimp cocktail is very good, they also have strawberries and cream cups which are really good and their bionicos are really good.

BE CAREFULL THE CASHIER WOMEN STEAL MONEY!!! The cashier tried to steal my money because i bought one candle and she added two more. I told the manager and he did not care.

Hands down they have the best tamale masa here no other store is as consistent an well flavored as them. My recommendation is if you havent tried it give it a try you wont be disappointed.. They also sale fresh cooked tamales burritos tacos an tortas... Pull up the food is waiting....

Very bad service!!! I would sugest people to go other store. Waiting time for every department is an hour or more!!! Lines exteamly long. Workers dont care of costumer service at all. At meat department butchers talking about cars. At cashier sude ladies talking about theur quinseayera while lines keep getting longer and longer. Took me 1 and 20 minutes to get 2 tacos and get out!!!!!! Supervisors no where to be found. This was at the Lincoln and knott store.

The menudo at the Lincoln and Knott store was extremely salty and it was disgusting. There was so much fat in the soup that all I tasted was salt and fat. Your chef needs to cut away all the fat from the tripe. I can tell that whoever made this soup was lazy or does not know how to cook. The worker at the soup station was very rude. Dont stores know that customers will return if you just smile, make eye contact and ask how you can help? Trader Joes has great customer service and your store needs to learn customer service skills from them.

2 times Beef soup really bad. First, salty the second lack of salt. I recommend some one of the market taste food to assure same quality than other Norgate Markets.

The Northgate Market has all the ingredients if you like Mexico cooking.Also, It is cheap.

I was lined up to pay for my groceries, the store manager sent me to the express lane, because there was only 2 people in line. When the express lane cashier saw me come, she immediately complained and told me not to use the express lane. I told her, the store manager has sent me. Store manager came by to try to calm her down. The cashier told her that she shouldn’t do that even if she was the store manager, because she as cashier was charging the money on that lane. She was really rude. Manager had no control over the situation. Cashier should be fired, not only for the horrible customer service skills, but also for the way she treats her authorities. It was so unpleasant. It’s like they are treating cattle in a ranch. She did not respect me or her boss. Ugly place to be, makes you feel as if they are dealing with animals. Toxic culture there. :(

My family doesnt really shop at Latino stores anymore because the prices are lower at other stores like Stater Brothers and Sprouts. However, Northgate will always carry items other stores dont have when it comes to Mexican dishes. The selection is great when it comes peppers, meat, and prepared foods. We love the pan dulce too! However, the prices on some items get pretty close to Whole Foods which is why I have to knock down a star. Doesnt make sense to have Whole Foods/Amazon prices. Customer service can also improve. There was a gentleman looking to get help with the tamales but no one would assist him in getting his tamales picked out even though there was plenty of associates. Another star knocked down.5 stars - 2 stars= 3 stars

Located in the old Alpha Beta store shopping center on Knott and Lincoln, its surrounded by every store you can imagine, including a Metro PCS, Electronic repair shop, Optometrist, Nail salon, Chinese food, laundromat, & bank around the corner of the building. It also offers a Carls Jr. In the parking lot. Northgate Market offers a bakery, a Pan cabinet, a wonderful assortment of meats & cheeses, aisles of ethnic foods, drinks, party supplies, produce, & a tortilla making department. Friendly and fast cashiers.

I jus picked up the cake I ordered for my sons birthday today. He’s turning 3. The chick at the bakery was so annoyed when I was browsing thru the cakes on Friday. The chick spoke PERFECT English .. was on the phone with someone the entire time .it’s not like she didn’t understand me or what it was I had asked for .. I’m Hispanic so I would’ve spoken to her in Spanish if she didn’t understand me... I picked up my cake less than 20 min ago and it was complete wrong! When told it was not what I ordered she was SOOOOO annoyed with me for whatever reason telling my husband “it’s what I asked for!” It was a simple cake I ordered .. nothing like the one I got. I’m so upset I can’t even get thru their phone line! I’m going to make sure this bakery pays for how rude and careless they are.

The store is really good but the service isnt the best they take to long to attend you when buying at the meat section. The cashiers take way to long to scan the items as well I have been buying at this store for years and I havent had an issue till right now !!

This place is always busy but the meat counter moves quickly. People are minding their distance. The employees are doing a good job at making sure that everyone is wearing s mask and that all customers get a sanitized cart. They have good crowd control. The best Northgate by far.

Really good market but not covid-19 friendly. The market has 2 small doors but they only use 1 door for ppl coming and going. If you mind this types of places you will not like this experience, especially on pick hours.

My family and I love their chocoflans. Theyre not too sweet and has fruits on top. Tried the mango cake today and it wasnt as good though. It was too sweet and dense. Probably good if you have sweet tooth but my family doesnt.

The people at the meat section are great. They are accurate and have a sense of urgency when helping you. Everyone seems very organized and I appreciate that.Cashiers on the other hand.... are always more in to their side conversations than ringing you up. The chit chat is not only annoying & unprofessional, but it also literally delays the lines for check out. With the exception of like 2 cashiers I have encountered going at all times and days. Check out lines is what I will really have you not wanting to come back. Cashiers dont say anything to customers who have over 10 items at the fast check out. They also always seem to assign. The slowest cashier to the fast check out line. Their prices are also very high for the quality of their food.

I have ordered cakes from here on multiple occasions and every time I have been so disappointed, I know I should have stopped going the first time that this happened to me but this time Im definitely not ever ordering or buying a cake from them! Excellent selection and value pricing especially on produce and meat. When compared to the other major grocery chains our money goes much further and I would say that especially with meat, produce and Hispanic food stuffs (beans, rice etc) we can buy about 50% - 75% more food per dollar spent elsewhere.

A very good clean grocery store that caters to Mexicans however there are many whites that are in there because the prices are good and they have a lot of interesting things to buy. Good homemade refried beans, great cooked Mexican rice to go with it with the veggies in it. They have ready-made other Mexican dishes ready for you to scoop up and put it in you to go container. They even have hot tamales. They are nice people in there.

I went on a walk yesterday with my 2 kids in a stroller.. I attempted to go to this store.. I was stopped at the door and asked if my 1 year old daughter had a face Mask..... I Had my mask...for respect to others and the store.. They lady would not let me into the store unless my 1 year old daughter had a face mask...I told them that she will just take it off .. she doesnt even talk. And doesnt no any better..THIS MEDIA VIRUS ..IS GETTING OUT OF CONTROL.Totally against are human rights. Its not a law its just recommend.....

This Northgate has gotten on my last nerves. The employees are so disrespectful. I get the mask situation but to be rude about it & the way they act on it is so out of hand. I will be reporting them to cooperate because Ive had enough. Mangement needs to train them on customer service & or fired them & re hire friendly people. The cashiers as well dont even greet you they always have a attitude problem. Abel Lopez was the guy I had a problem today & enough is enough.

Stopped going to this supermarket due to the majority of the staff members are rude, you dont feel welcome at the store. At the meat department, I always need to keep an eye on the order if you ask for 4 steaks and you are not careful they give you 5, therefore you end up paying more. Terrible way to do business.

This place caters 2 prominently the Mexican American person. However, its a great place to go. They have food to go, and they also have tons of food you could make for yourself. The prices are good, and if you look in their weekly advertisement you can get even better deals. They just revamped this store and it is absolutely beautiful

We like shopping at NM no doubt about it, but theres one thing that can understand why is there always a long wait just to pay when they have at least 10 registers and only open 2 or 3 and the line of people with shopping carts are huge and blocking the way, please make improvements...
