The sales associate was very knowledgeable and in tune with what I was looking for. I was given the opportunity to ask as many questions as needed to feel comfortable making an informed decision. I was shown many options in my price range. There was no hurry to make a decision and I did not feel pressed to buy immediately, though I chose to based on company coming next week. The bed set is scheduled to be delivered in 2 days. I hope to enjoy the mattress for a long time.

Ordered a mattress and foundation Feb 17th and was told it would be in at the end of February or first week of March at the latest. Heard nothing. Contacted them March 22. Got a run around. Husband called to cancel and was offered a different upgraded mattress of a higher rated brand name plus a mattress protector valued at $100 and promised we would have it April 1. Called & told they don’t know why anyone would promise that. Maybe next week. It’s now next week. Nothing. Will never pay full price in advance again or buy from Metro

We had many questions and she was extremely patient in answering each and every one of them. We felt completely safe as we were the only customers allowed in the showroom because of possible Coronavirus exposure and she as well as ourselves wore masks for the entire time. She took the extra step to call her manager to see if there were any special sales/promotions going on which there were! I have never experienced anything like this place. The day I purchased we received false promises. Then lied saying I was called and stated they were coming the next day as it was scheduled. No call or voicemail. Then had mattress delivered without the base. Didn’t end up liking the mattress exchanged it for a way more expensive one. Then they were only going to give us the difference of a discounted mattress that was correct. This other salesman says we were gonna get an upgraded base for our troubles. We finally get things delivered and it was the wrong base from what was promised. We back to the store and he couldn’t really do anything and was going to talk to the manager he said instead of me waiting there he promised to call me back. He never did. I called and spoke to the other salesman. He was confused and stated the manager was taking care of it. Days later I received a call from the manager. Kept making excuses for things and still didn’t make sense. More days go by and finally received a call from the first salesman saying I will be getting the new base delivered. It was set up for Monday. Monday comes and they’re about to bring it upstairs, I asked if it was the upgrade. No. It was actually the exact same base I already have!!! I immediately told them to take it back! Went straight to the store and once again he couldn’t do anything because speak with the manager. He stated it would be dealt with right away. It’s now been over a week since then and yet to receive a call from the manager!! This is absolutely the worst service ever from a store let alone this big of a purchase!!! I wish I never bought the first mattress there as I was stuck with them as you can’t get your money back. It’s ridiculous to know how both of the two salesman says they’ve heard a lot of complaints about the first salesman we dealt with. Every time I went these guys had to call the manager about everything, not even just with me. I even asked if I could speak with someone above this manager, Dakota, but I couldn’t I was told unless I asked Dakota!! Beyond ridiculous! I will never recommend anyone to go to this place!

Amanda Lawrence helped us out. Was very knowledgeable about all the bedding products they carried. She helped us determine which mattress was best for us. We purchased it that night. Thanks for all your help. Selecting a mattress can be a tough thing to do because of all the different types. She helped simplify everything and was a quick and easy purchase.

Warranty replacement and customer service are both horrible to deal with. Took over 9 month to replace a matress due to failed attempts to schedule a inspection. Multiple times they did not show. After arguing for months they finally gave me a credit to replace the matress to have them show up at my house to tell me I had a quarter size stain on the matress so they would not deliver the new one I paid $400 over the credit. The stain ended up to be a small dark spot from the matress cover I had to buy for $139.99 with the original matress to get any type of warranty replacement. stain came off when brushed with my hand. My new matress was delivered the next day by a different crew needless to say not the best company to deal with in any way.

I bought 3 weeks ago on a Friday night at the end of the evening. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and Cheryl showed me everything in the store! She was very knowledgeable and gave me recommendations based on what I was looking for and in a price range I was comfortable with. I’ve been sleeping on my new mattress since and it’s wonderful! I would recommend Metro Mattress and Cheryl!

Mattress failed in 5 years. Warranty takes months to finalize. Called the store to get an update, and Roger from the Blasdell, NY store expressed that this wasnt his problem. His other customers were more important, and that in need to call back another day and speak to anyone else. He refused to provide a day, time or name... just not him. I feel my money and time have been a complete waste and have lost total faith in this company.

We went on a Friday evening. Roger was helpful, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. He understood our budget and showed us the current sale items and what he considered the best deals. We purchased a Full size mattress with box spring that same night, and got it delivered on Monday. Its been a week and were happy with the mattress.The delivery service calls the night before, so we received the call on Sunday. The call was a robo-call stating the mattress would be delivered between 10:30 & 1:30. It arrived at 11am, the delivery guys were personable and professional. No complaints!!

First time mattress buyer here. Had so many questions and didnt know where to start. I wanted a queen memory foam mattress and was shown very expensive models way out of my price range. I didnt want to go cheap either. Thats where Greg came in and educated me on why different mattresses are constructed differently for different purposes. He explained that the highest price mattress isnt always the best and asked me many questions to narrow down the options to the perfect mattress for me. I got a queen sized Nectar mattress and have been satisfied so far. I had a few other places I shopped like Mattress Firm and Ashleys, along with a few online shops. This is the only brick and mortar place I didnt feel like was dictating the sale. Greg asked me questions and provided enough info to make my own informed decision allowing me to get everything I want; walking away from the purchase feeling very satisfied. As for comparison to online shops, you really cant find the best mattress without laying on them for a few minutes. Not only that but its a better deal to get your box spring and Nectar mattress (with two free pillows) from the store. Especially if you can avoid shipping charges or are in their vast delivery area ( I was not). All in all I spent around $100 less in store versus the Nectar website and got two free pillows versus the one I would have got online. Amanda was another great person to work with as she talked to me about placing an order one day Greg was off. All in all it took less than three days from payment to the time I was setting up my mattress, the service was great. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

Our salesman George at Metro Mattress was pleasant and helpful, fully explained everything. The two men who delivered the mattress and box springs were very professional, and very careful when taking out the old box spring and mattress and bringing in the new. It was snowing on the day of my delivery and I just had new carpet installed the previous week, they had clean shoe covers that they put over their shoes so as not to track on the new carpet. Overall both at the store and the delivery a very satisfying experience.

I had a terrible mattress shopping experience here. Went with my mother to just price and look at products. Had money to purchase but I wanted to get a feel for different mattress and products not from just one store. When we arrived we were greeted by a man. This man asked if I would like to have a mattress test. He was very pushy and I gave in and agreed. He placed me on a mattress/bed that he said was $12,000 dollars. When I joked that wasnt in my budge he made a comment that I wasnt a celebrity and those are the only people who can afford it. He then continued to show me beds. Would not let me look around the store alone. He made the shopping experience very uncomfortable. What was MOST disturbing is when I said thank you and wanted to go on my way his words were I cant let you leave. I was actually kinda scared at that point. Thank god I had my mother with me and my father in the car. Im 33 years old and he was being very forceful. Jumped on me about his commission and having to call a manager before I left. I explained I was simply looking. He again said he could not let me leave. Other women came into the store and I can imagine the experience they had if it was anything like mine. Sadly too I did like a mattress there that I would of come back to purchase. This man should not have a job. No one should feel that uncomfortable while shopping for mattresses. Ridiculous.-Corina

Woke up this morning and decided it was time to replace our mattress. Did a little online research and chose Metro Mattress based on reviews and selection. Within 30 minutes of being in the store we had our choice narrowed down to 2 mattresses. Delivery is scheduled for next.day. Greg and Roger were very helpful and answered all of our questions. Good experience so far.

My boyfriend myself and our children stopped into the McKinley store late last night, looking to buy 2 mattresses for bunkbeds. Turns out the employee working, Greg, only had one of what we wanted. He went in our opinion, above and beyond good customer service by calling a bunch of people to try to get permission to sell us his floor model. After about 20 minutes he said we could take the display mattress. I have never had to buy mattresses before and we stopped at Metro Mattress because it was the first place we saw. I will, in the future, recommend not only the store but specifically Greg. He is amazing and sincerely didnt want to see my babies sleeping on the floor. Thank you so much!

I immediately reported the problem to Greg who sold me the mattress. Greg did a great job helping me make a claim with the manufacturer (who denied my claim!!) and ultimately, Metro Mattress has agreed to replace my mattress because it failed so quickly. I was very pleased with all the work Greg did to help me out.

I really wanted to leave a good review, but as I sit here without the delivery that was expected today - without even a phone call to say that there was any delay or change in delivery status - I am on the verge of canceling my entire order. I completely understand that things happen, but when you have a promised appointment with a Customer and you cannot even call to keep the customer informed, you have lost my trust that I placed my purchase with the right company. We took the day off work to be home for the delivery, only to receive a phone call from the delivery warehouse that they only deliver to our area on Thursdays. We were lied to more than once by our sales rep and had it not been for the Regional Manager trying to make things right, I wouldve cancelled our entire order and placed this one and our future orders with a more reputable company.To say this entire experience was a nightmare and a waste of time would be an understatement.

Jeff was our salesman. He was very patient, not pushy at all. My boyfriend wanted something stiffer, me, something softer- he catered to that, saying she may want something more like this. While we took our time laying on a bunch, he would hang back and give us the prices when asked, giving us pillows and making sure we had the full experience of each mattress. Would definitely recommend Jeff, and his great customer service. We got free delivery & set up in 2 days, delivery is tomorrow. As for our purchase, weve been sleeping on a broken mattress for about 5 years, so we are more than thrilled to sleep on a new mattress, but we should have shopped around a little more, I think we were too impatient, I think there are cheaper places. Take my advice and shop around.
