The store overall is great, I mean it is Whole Foods, so things will be pricey. The security guards are knuckle heads who I’ve personally have seen do absolutely nothing when someone (aka. an anti-masker) slips in wearing no mask. Some of the store associates have “attitude” too. If ya hate your job….. quit! But I guess giving up their store discount is too much to sacrifice. Good looking people tend to shop here too so if you’re single and looking…..

The vegan red chile tamales were a delicious surprise-- kind of mild, so plenty of room to add a spicy sauce and a bit of cheese. The vegan chicken salad (a LOT of red onion) was good too. But the desserts...OMG🥳🎉 The fruit tart is a party in your mouth!! The crust was buttery, the custard wasnt overly sweet, and the mix of textures and flavors of the different berries, kiwi, and mangoes--just so good!

I’m a long time customer, appreciate their choice of fresh affordable produce. But today, after Thanksgiving holidays, I was appalled to walk in the store through the corridor of many beautiful trees killed for the sake of commercial Christmas. Every tree is cut down, not a single potted Evergreen for sale!:((( I’m appalled at Amazon continuing to support the wiping out the Evergreens (one hundred million trees worldwide yearly!!!) Last year, I saw a nice variety of potted live Christmas trees, some decorated, at local Ralphs, Pavilions, Trader Joe’s, Home Depo, Lowe’s!!!A deeply frustrating, very bad choice for the so called eco-minded chain......

I love whole foods and I go there almost everyday! I must say though, if you’re coming here for the deli or bakery- don’t! Choose a different whole foods. It seems the workers in the deli don’t get any training. The line is always backed up and they seem to not have a clue how to make food every time I go in. This hasn’t been once, it’s every time. They need to be trained on how to make food correctly! I’ve also experienced a very rude worker when I was trying to buy a cake. The people who make the sandwiches don’t even know how to prepare the sandwiches from the menu…The only thing positive about this staff is one lady in the deli who always looks overworked, like shes the only one who knows how to make food. Just go to a different location.

False advertising!I stopped this morning expecting SELF SERVE breakfast as the sign/ advertising indicates. Instead i found pre-made grab and go burritos. If someone fills the boxes FOR YOU this is NOT SELF SERVE!!!When i stopped to inquire about the SELF SERVE, the manager i spoke to to begin with had trouble understanding english. The second person i spoke with said oh yes there is breakfast.....I am looking for self serve, NOT grab and go. there is a big difference!during all this i was almost pushed down the escalators by camera crews. When you have only one entrance/ exit that cannot be blocked........ filming should have been done OUT of the customer way. Before the pandemic i use to shop at WF regularly, they had something for everyone - (i have food allergies) and it was good quality. Now they no longer carry most of the brands/ products that i look for. (they are available at OTHER stores in the neighborhood - Sprouts/ Vons/Ralphs)When you stop to inquire about a specific product that is no longer available, you come across resistance and the employees do NOT want to deal with the inquiry you are told no we no longer carry it at THIS location. period. Here is what WF writes as their promo on the web: At Whole Foods Market, we’re a grocery store with something for everyone. Easy meal solutions. Paleo-friendly, vegan, vegetarian and special diet options.SO where is the something for everyone? because i am not finding it.NO special diet options ....... Where is the Dairy free/ Gluten free and clean clear good food that can stand on its own, without a bottle of hot sauce added to everything?

This location of Whole Foods is great. Easy free parking underneath the building. Airy escalator/moving walkway situation to get you in and out of the store. The store was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. I went early in the morning so there were not too many patrons so I was able to maneuver through quickly.Lots of self check out and free paper shopping bags. I’m not normally a Whole Foods Shopper but during the pandemic I am looking for grocery stores that are clean, safe, and fairly quiet when I shop (earlier hours). They still wipe down carts and baskets for you unlike other stores. Will definitely come back.

Typical Whole Foods Market. Just bigger.Overpriced nicely packaged stuff that are available anywhere else...The food sections/Salad bars are really good so I guess that part is worth it.But like a small dish of SuperMarket Sushi is 18-20...Irrational...The breakfast Burritos are cut in half at this location. Don’t mess with my burrito.Bacon is so oily I can start my own refinery from it...Expensive place and some items quality is below par...Amazon prime barcode scanning is a gimmick. Downgrading my review. They have a modern design, but we came here a few days ago and got a few things and the milk expired only two days after our trip and it made my cereal taste like catnip. Also, we got a drink that said it was orange strawberry and banana but it was like 99.9% orange and 0.05% strawberry and 0.05% banana. You should’ve told people that it was just plain old orange juice.

There are some WONDERFUL employees though who are super kind & professional who always make my shopping experience easy & fun! They do have some products I used to only be able to buy here that since the pandemic are no longer available but obv that’s out of their control! Outstanding place, been to Whole Foods up and down the coast and this new store is awesome. Love to load up on the salad bar and sit in the comfortable dining area and eat it. With inside/out tables which can handle a large crowd, its easy to feel at home. After eating I usually pick up a few essentials for our office and go back to Hollywood. Unfortunately Whole Foods in Hollywood at Fairfax & 3rd never has a place to park due to Kmart and the one at Santa Monica & Fairfax is tiny with hard to find parking. Makes me want to move into the new apartments above this place.

I feel like, for whatever reason, I’ve been compelled to speak on the current service given in the places I tend to patron locally here in the Burbank/North Hollywood area.First let me acknowledge that this location typically has good service. However, today Thursday.September.24.2020 @ around 7:30pm I felt a familiar feeling of disappointment in the local service given.Today is my 18th day of fasting from all solid foods. I am a casual Whole Foods Shopper despite the fact that I do not fall with in Whole Foods Target Market.Though I am not consuming food I do intake fresh juices. If I’m not mistaken The Coffee & Juice Bar at the Burbank location, via google maps, closes @8:00pmSo I’m not totally sure why I was told that A (Green Lemonade Juice) could not be made for me @ around 7:30pm.I’ve worked in retail before, I’ve had closing shifts, I have a juicer at home so I know how annoying it is to clean it,I know how it feels to want to start cleaning up early but if that is the case, may I suggest you change the hours. I live in North Hollywood and I specifically came to this location to get a fresh juice under the assumption that juice/smoothies were no longer being made after (8:00pm) Not 7:30.Update 9/29/20 I attempted to get a juice/smoothie here the following day but this time I called first to ask if they were making smoothies/juices between 7:30p and 8:00p. I pretty much got the same answer except they stated that they would do me the favor of going ahead and preparing it for me and letting me come pick it up. Then the young man goes on to offer me a mobil number to place my order in advance. He stated that its busy a lot so thats a tool they use to ease congestion. There Literally was no-one in line at the juice bar at that time of day. That is probably why they are compelled to start clean up so early. There is a very specific reason I get my juices/smoothies later in the day. First of all, whenever I patron Whole foods its usually after rush hour, that is intentional. Further more, I shouldnt even have to explain any of this. I should be able to get the same service as those who shop morning and mid day. Or simply just shorten the hours. It takes only a few minutes to make these drinks. I dont understand what the issue is.Hey this level of service may be standard for this location but all I’m asking is to let your customers know.Update: 9/29/20 Now I travel an extra 6.5 Miles to the Glendale, California Location for fresh made juices and smoothies, around the same time as when I went to the Burbank Location, they are much more efficient, pleasant and understanding.

I’m a Prime member and frequent shopper here. I was skeptical at first when WF, known for its ecological awareness and eco-friendly practices was bought by Amazon, known for convenience and consumerism through cheap products shipped from off-shore factories that give the remotest of lip service to sustainability. I can’t help thinking the worst has come out of this acquisition as I see multiple cut-down Christmas trees shilled by the WF front entrance to remind us of that chilling consumerism. These trees take 7 to 10 years to grow before they end up as 1 or 2 month temporary decorations in homes (surrounded by double-packaged goods from Amazon.) Just in the US we consume 30+ million cut trees every year only to dispose of them shortly after Christmas. The waste generated is considerable and inconsiderate as well. What a disappointment. Could do much better with potted or artificial holiday trees!
