First time customer and came away disappointed. Ordered a Mocha, extra shot and it was pretty bad. It wasnt hot, just past warm, and the taste was bland. It reminded me of watered down chocolate milk. I would have liked more chocolate flavor and definitely stronger coffee.

Just had to have a Chai tea the other day so popped into Burien Press. I had forgotten how good they make them! Yummy, spicy, really hit the spot. With Covid BP has had to reinvent themselves which like they have done well. I was in and out quickly but seems the indoor seating is gone however they have added shelving with lots of goodies including wine. I’ll be making a point to stop by again soon when I have time to shop!! Staff was super friendly too!

Not a large place but with lots of light. Hot chocolate is 4/5, latte 3/5, complimentary wi-fi 5/5. Without asking we were given to go glasses. You’ll find here coffee, some cold beverages, muffins, cookies, pastries and sandwiches. Only one washroom which is often occupied.

This is truly an outstanding establishment. They make incredible drinks, and there are so many to name. The coffee is excellent. The chai is remarkable. The in-house syrups and unique seasonal drinks continually stand out. Their iced tea+toasted lemonade is unmatched, and one of the reasons I keep coming back again and again. They are now offering food, and the quiche and frittata are unbelivably fresh and delicious. Not to mention their selection of natural wines is extensive, and the staff has been incredibly helpful to recommend what are now some of my favorite wines. Clearly I could go on and on!Not to mention the owners, and the entire staff are truly above and beyond when it comes to service, and engagement with guests and the community. This is a business that shines, and I will forever sing the praises of people who decide to do business like this!

Conveniently located in the heart of Burien town center filled with many quaint stores and restaurants. Burien Press is the needed cafe in this areaThe coffee is good, pastries are yummy and service is always A+ as well.Drink selections are ample too.Seats can sometimes be limited as this is a hub for people working remote but during summer times their outdoor patio is available.Atmosphere is good filled with family friendly patrons. I wouldnt be scared to leave my stuff laying around.Parking is the only bummer as it is only good for 2 hours.

This place truly sells great coffee. Unfortunately it has become more of a study cafe, extremely crowded but that’s not what is most concerning. What is; people are packed in very close quarters with very little room for movement. What I do these days is, I either go elsewhere to get my coffee or just get it to go for I fear catching a virus of some sort. Perhaps, the owner limit studying time per person so that others can go in to actually enjoy your coffee. It’s one thing if the cafe has a bigger space but it just does not.

And the staff are always really friendly and nice.I was there this summer and got a drink and when I went today it wasnt on the menu. I asked about it. The barista knew what I was talking about. And checked to see if they had the stuff to make me one. They did she made the drink (cold brewed coffee and chocolate milk mixed.) It was just as good as I remember. And the fact she made it special was really nice. The place is always clean the staff friendly and tbe prices are more than fair.

Burien Press is a locally-owned, thoughtfully curated, art-appreciating coffee shop that is as much about the espresso (Olympia Coffee Roasters) as it is meeting friends or having a meeting. The wifi is free, and there is a singularly fantastic back patio that is great for all kinds of hangouts, political campaign launches (cough) and more.

Small and quiant. This place is a coffee shop at heart but is starting to dabble into wine and beer to be relevent during the evenings. I love Burien Press. Its beautiful. People are friendly and the food/drinks have all been great so far. The patio is also a beautiful tranquil place and your dog can join you. The only downside Ive discovered is that because the front and back doors are open during the summer, there is a really nice draft of fresh air coming through until some one walks by smoking and then you get a could taste of it. Im not sure how to prevent that. Otherwise, I love this place and am a frequent visitor.

I feel this place is very overrated. The coffee had like ten different spices in it, so much that it really just tasted like a spicy tea, and the prices for things was beyond outrageous.
