After a bad experience with another processor, we just had a steer processed at Rendon. The service was excellent. Staff was more than helpful and the price was reasonable for the job they did. We will be using them from now on. Happy to give them our business.

2 different cuts of meat in same package and called them rib eyes ..Got a Rib Eye special for $43.95 you get 4 of them. 2 in each package. 1 out of each package were thicker. 1 from each package were real tender while 1 from each package that was thinker in cut turned out to be real touch to chew. Been grilling out for over 35yrs so I know it wasnt me.. 2 types of meat in one package. Fill like I was ripped off... Hell I know I was...41yrs Ive driven past this place and thought why not finally. Never again... NEVER AGAIN..

Weve been here twice now, both times weve had great service and amazing quality meat. The amount of attention they give each customer, so they get exactly what they ask for, is beyond words. We have had all kinds of cuts and not a complaint about any of it. The best part is they do all of this without jacking up the price.

This is a very dishonest business! Do not have your meat processed here. We took in deer on a few occasions and each time we felt the amount of meat we received back wasn’t right. I asked about it and got a rude response that this is our meat. They are stealing your meat to sell it and they should be shut down! And after reading many other reviews, it completely validated my suspicions. The ladies at the counter are extremely rude as well!We took a very similar size deer to Joshua Meat and received 2 boxes of meat where at Rendon we got 1! Joshua Meats is the place to go and they are so welcoming, honest and the nicest people.

Sold me a tri cap saying it was the same as a Rump Cap (it is not, but I trusted them). Any butcher that doesnt know their cuts or cant be bothered to ask the right person isnt worth going to. That said, I suspect they are better with deer than beef.

I took a steer to these folks and got shafted. After getting home it just didnt look like enough meat for the steer I took down. Remember this is my first time to this place. I took some of the meat out and it had packaged for lee on it. I looked and found a few packages had my last name on it. I called the people and asked and they said they had to check on it. Then a young lady got on the phone and said she just mixed the names up that all of this was my beef. After looking at the beef and comparing the two I have someone elses beef. I will never return to this place and will report this to the BBB. If you take your cattle to this place just beware. Not a good day.

Covid central! None of the employees had a mask on! If they are directly stating that they dont care about the well being of the customers and possibly exposing them in a middle of a worldwide pandemic who knows what they do to the food when it cant be seen! Its time to put differences aside this is not a time to be stubborn!

Had a thousand pound steer dropped off for processing, as a quarter of it was mine. Got back 76 pounds of meat and 10lbs of that were dog bones. I can understand where the people leaving 5 star reviews were happy because they can sell the meat they stole from the 4 of us at a discount price as it was free to them. Dont say you havent been warned. Pure theifs running that place.

Went here as a recommendation from a friend. Heard many good things. Experience was far from great. There was a newer girl that was nice, but didnt know much about the meat. The other, more knowledgeable lady was just flat rude. I had planned on buying a freezer full of meat, but only purchased a pack of skirt steak that we had pulled out. I will not give my hard earned money to a business that employees rude people. Customer service is the name of the game, and it was horrible. The Mexican meat market down the road had much better customer service, so that is where we spent our money.

Great little place. They will custom cut and seal just about anything you need. Great prices too

German sausage was awesome and all the meats I got there seemed to be high quality. I like that the meats are sourced nearby.On another note, I put the Rendon Meats Steak Seasoning on some Angus burgers I made for a birthday party. WOW. Buy it. Put it on everything.

Awesome folks and great meats, homemade sausage of numerous varieties. They also make a cheese summer sausage to die for.pair it with their red wax cheddar and some tv, youre all set for the long home stay . Thank you Rendon meats for being on the front lines . Yall are great

Had a cow processed here and they gave us half of the meat of what we brought to them. The t-bone steaks were smaller than a baseball and they only had meat on one side of the bone. Chuck roast was full of little pieces of bones and my fiancee broke his tooth eating the meat. Was a bad experience with service from this establishment. I dont recommend this service.

The last two times my family has used this place, we have gotten an insufficient amount of meat. You shouldn’t have more pork chops than sausage come off of a pig (happened both times). And shouldn’t get only 25lbs of ground beef off of a full grown steer. This place has really gone downhill over the past 3 years. They were amazing 15+years ago, but I won’t be using them again.

First time visit. I got the impression it was a good old butcher shop. The meat in the case looked great. The prices on the board were fair but we didnt have anything custom cut. Based on that I would definitely come back but I dont know enough about them to give a 5 star rating.

Place is going down hill.... 3 years ago there product was great... Took roughly 60lbs of clean and quartered meat. Got back 20lbs was charged for 24... Sausage was very bland and no flavor... Blood all over the packaging and the packaging smelt like a dead animal had been laying on top of it... Wont be back

Will not do business with them again! Took 1 hog 160-180 lbs got 30lbs sausage plus pork chops, hams and ribs. 2 hogs both 160- 180 lbs still got the same 30 lbs of sausage and they claim they didn’t skim any meat! Somethings not adding up, wish I could give 0 stars

Just ate the ribeye we purchased earlier. It almost melted our mouths. We have been purchasing meats behind the counter at our favorite grocery, but after trying the meats here, no more. Try the sweet bologna. This was the second week we have shopped here and everything has been absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this market.

Bad customer service. Their sign shows one price, they charge you more. When I pointed this out, they basically said oh well, the sign is old.

Was hoping not to have to drive four hours to Bellville meat market to get good quality meat. Purchase 2 pounds of sirloin meat was dark and was evident it had been sitting for several days, lady there was rude, service sucked, go elsewhere these people are not worth your business!!!!!!

Meat is ok but too lean and lacking flavor for me. Tried some steaks, they where ok but you can do better on sale at the big stores. I like that they cut the meat when ordered good and fresh plus you get whatever you want.
