Georgette and her team were phenomenal! Besides just finding me a perfect, absolute stunning wedding dress, she puts care and love into the experience. Unfortunately, I was a COVID bride and had to reschedule my wedding four times. Every time Georgette worked to ensure my dress was ready and adjust any fittings as needed. She also checked in on me multiple times throughout the process with encouraging messages and thoughts. She had an amazing number of dresses to select from and a fantastic seamstress to make any alternations or modifications. I would highly recommend Paper and Petals to any and every future bride!

Amazing store and beautiful dresses to choose from. Love the owner of the shop as well.The only reason I am not giving 5-stars is because I arrived to pick up my dress (I needed to leave with it the next day) it did not have all of the hooks to bustle it correctly and they only alterations I needed were a hem and bustle.They were able to fix it there within 30 minutes which was nice. They just also spent about 30 minutes looking for the hooks before doing so and it ended up taking much longer than I had hoped.Overall I loved my dress and would recommend this location. They have a beautiful selection.

SCAM ALERT!!! Worst experience I have ever had. If you value your time and money DO NOT come here. I found my bridal dress while out of town with my Mom, I looked up a store which sold my dress so I came here to try it on and order it. Georgette (owner of the store) quoted me $300 more than where I found the exact same dress else where! When I told her I was going to order it else where, she was magically able to honor the cheaper price. (If you do decide to come here ask for a cheaper price than what is listed, the mark up is huge). I then made the worst decision ever and decided to go through with alterations through the store. When I initially got my dress Georgette said “it will be around $500” for alterations since I didn’t need much but a hem and a bustle. When I came back to have my fitting for alterations, she just started cutting up the hem and 2 hours later with my dress in pieces on the floor told me it was going to be $750 for alterations! This store has a good selection of dresses however you can’t browse yourself so she basically just gets what ever is expensive and “lets you try it on.” Either way, ask for a discount on your dress and what ever you do DO NOT get alterations here. Go literally anywhere else and it’s cheaper.**update to my post, if you need alterations go to yun yun woo in the inner sunset Sf, she did all of my alterations for $200 cheaper than paper and petals quoted me and it looks amazing**

Georgette and the team did an amazing job! They had a great selection of the wedding dress styles I was interested in, and even suggested other dresses I might like in my price range. In the end, I found the perfect dress, and they did a beautiful job with the bustle and alterations! It was a very personal and special wedding dress shopping experience from start to finish, and I highly recommend looking here for your wedding dress, or even bridal accessories, shoes, and dresses for bridesmaids and mothers.

Pretty scammy (as other reviewers mentioned). The MO seems to be to take advantage of anxious brides-to-be, including a friend of mine who was way overcharged for half-completed adjustments that weren’t even that difficult to start with.

The owner was pretty good lady. Just the prize of the dress I was shopping for was higher when compared to other stores that carried it. But hey you dont have to drive 40miles to get to the store.

Got all of my bridesmaids dresses here and they are absolutely beautiful! Had one hiccup along the way but Georgette was nice enough to take care of it and made my experience seamless. Thank you for all of your help!

Georgette and her squad are absolutely incredible!Wedding Dress Shopping Experience: I consider myself a laid back bride. So laid back that i did no research before coming in. This was my first shop and had 2 other appointments planned with my tribe. I honestly actually dont really like wearing dresses because of previous incidences of leg chaffage (the thick thigh life struggle is so real.) Im unapologetically short and curvy without fear of accentuating all the right curves and much fear of highlighting all the wrong curves. I walked in with an open mind and they helped me navigate through the process to find the perfect dress. I tried a simple A-line, but didnt feel bridal. Then tried on my fit and flare and I was in love! Then i began to dance in it with the encouragement of my sisters and mom and fell absolutely in love with it! We had a great time playing music getting our dance on with my wedding dress. Yes, I bursted into tears from happiness surrounded by my loved ones in that dress. Yup, it was definitely the one!Alterations Process: This process was seamless. I spent 2 hours standing in my shoes (Tip: Wear comfortable shoes ladies!) While the seamstress navigated her way all around my dress for the perfect fit and bustle. Ive seriously never owned anything that fit me like a glove. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS BOUTIQUE. This experience was absolutely horrendous. I am a bridesmaid in my brothers wedding, and his fiancée decided to order from Paper and Petals. After waiting for my dress to arrive MUCH later than it was promised, I was told that I needed to come to the boutique for a fitting. The shop refused to allow me to schedule a fitting for the weekend, which was frustrating. I scheduled an appointment and sat in more than an hour of traffic from San Francisco, then arrived at the shop. I was rudely greeted, and left alone in the shop for several minutes while they went to find my dress (since I had an appointment, I would expect them to maybe have my dress ready to go?). I tried on my dress that was about 6 too long. As this was a fitting, I thought she might help me pin my dress or give me feedback. Instead, I was told the dress looks like it fits ok. You should take it somewhere to get hemmed. I dont know why I had to bother to drive to this store on a weekday to be treated poorly and pushed out the door. Clearly, this shop cares about making a sale. Once they have your money, you are worthless to them. Deplorable customer experience, and every member of the bridal party had similar or WORSE experiences.

STAY AWAY! Very pushy and the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced! They ask for your budget and they make sure they reach it- such con artist! They want you to pay for your wedding dress in full before they even order it! Normally 50% deposits are standard but this lady is so greedy it’s unbelievable that she’s even still in business. I walked in today to ask for bridesmaids dresses and she says “your bridesmaids can try on dresses for $25 each because usually people try them on and then go buy online” unbelievably rude! When I asked to see the dresses to see if they had anything my bridesmaids would like she refused saying you need to pay first. Please go somewhere else! Your special day should not be left in their hands.

I called to inquire about their bridal dresses and the person who I talked to was so rude and dismissing! After that interaction, I will NEVER set foot in that place and am writing this to warn others of their complete lack of professionalism!

Georgette is amazing! She is accommodating, honest and direct, and mindful of your shape and budget. If you want someone to tell you what you want to hear, i.e. that every dress you try on is amazing, dont go to Georgette. She will be honest and direct with you. She will tell you that a dress does not come in your size. She will tell you that a dress is not flattering for you. That is ok! Dont take it personal. Love your body today, and trust Georgette. She will have the perfect dress for you, and she will spend hours with you to make sure you are happy as can be! Be sure to make an appointment ... walk-ins will be asked to make an appointment. Respect the bride she is servicing and know that your time will be respected as well.My wedding is in August, so I needed to find a dress quick. I found Papers and Petals on a Google search for bridal shops near my office. I called at 11 am and Georgette was able to see me at 1 pm the same day. She and her associate spent 2 1/2 hours with me trying on every dress that I thought I wanted for my wedding. Then she brought out the dress that she thought would be best for me. It was a satin, blingy ballgown ... everything I thought I did not want. I put it on and BAM! That was it! How did she know? I was ready to purchase, but said to her that I needed to think it over because I was really wanting something in organza or tulle (I did not make that clear when I started. Brides - BE CLEAR). She said to me, I have it in Organza. I put it on and that was it ...Naturally for me, I had buyers remorse. Did I pick the right dress? Is there anything else that I want to see myself in? I had doubts. So I called Georgette that evening and expressed my concerns to her. She put my order on hold and scheduled me for another appointment the following day. I came in and tried on several more dresses. During the course of another 2-1/2 hours dress-up session, one of her previous clients came in to show off wedding pictures. That was a special moment. It showed me that Georgette does connect with her brides, and she stays connected.To sum it up, after another 15 or so dresses, I decided that my decision on the Organza Blingy Ball Gown, guided by Georgette, was the right decision. Im going in next Monday to try on the dress with shoes ... because now I cant decide on which shoes to wear!

Stay away!! Please listen to all the bad reviews of this place. Id hate for other people to have gone through what I have. Horrible customer service. They may seem ok when you are in there trying stuff on, but trying to get your dress is a nightmare. They are so unorganized, and now I MAY NOT HAVE A DRESS FOR THE WEDDING BECAUSE OF THEIR INCOMPETENCE!!Dont go!!!!
