Brought my BMW in for a front end clunk. Misdiagnosed by them all three times even after I paid them to repair what they thought was wrong (new front driveline and then new struts). Still had the same clunk from the beginning. The repairs did not fix the issue. Finally, checked the front suspension myself and was able to pull off the left sway bar by hand. Mechanic didn’t notice this even though he had to remove one end of the sway bar end link to install the struts they told me was the cause of the clunk. They never drove the vehicle after to even see if the repair and the new parts fixed the problem. I could have easily installed the sway bar end links myself with minimal effort and would have saved a couple thousand dollars. Sway bar end links only cost about 40 dollars each from BMW.
After being a loyal customer of Bavarian Autohaus (BA) for over 30 years, I will no longer go here for theyve really gone downhill. The last two times I took my car in for repairs, I had to return it both times (with more than one trip) for them to get each problem rectified. The third and last time was when my car broke down on I-5. It then sat for over 3 months in their yard and I didnt hear a word. When I called they said that they didnt know what was wrong with it! I finally personally towed it to a nearby garage where they found the problem in minutes and fixed it in good time. They discovered it was a broken timing belt and the idler pulley was loose. The bolt holding the pulley was not tightened by BA and that broke the belt that they had replaced less than a year earlier. Three other bolts were also left missing on the housing. They let their repair warranty run out while my car sat in their yard. I couldnt believe BA would do this. Be forewarned!
Mark recently performed some maintenance on my truck. He and his staff got me back on the road as quickly as possible and did an overall outstanding job (above and beyond!). Exceptional communication and skill. I would absolutely recommend Bavarian Autohaus and will no doubt be using them again for vehicle maintenance and repair in the future. Thanks Mark and crew, keep up the good work!
Dropped my car off on the 9th for transmission work. I havent heard good news or bad news yet in regards to my car
ABSOLUTELY fantastic! The people, the knowledge, the honesty, the pricing, the turn time... I called on a Monday and was in that Friday. My Volvo hasnt run so well in years! Let me add, my dealership wanted $2600 and I paid $1500 for ALL the work Volvo quoted. Thanks Mark and Nancy! Ill be your customer for life. See you soon for front brakes!!
Best service in skagit.
My car was having some runnability problems so I stopped by there to get it diagnosed. They went above and beyond the minimum to not only get me back cruising but to make sure I would be good to go for a while to come. Nancy in the office was wonderful to work with in the pricing and Gage was a very intelligent young tech who brought another mechanic who specialized in my specific Audi. Together they made a great team and I would suggest them to any one.
Brought in for full diagnostics and repairs on 2004 Mercedes S430. Failed in both areas. They have no business working on Mercedes Benz!!!
Always very polite and professional!
Dropped car off to get a valve cover gasket and check turbo boost. Kept car for weeks.then told me the turbo was literally blown up and parts were in the cam area. And it would cost $3000. Told them to put the cover back on and I would drive away. After weeks of waiting I got a call saying it was back together and the turbo works just fine. Dishones Shop! Will never go there again. For any reason. And you should not either if you what good honest work.
So far so good. Was on vacation and my eurovan started smoking. They got us in the next day. We all hope it was something minor. Marked tried that first but had to order a part. So they gave us a loner car so we could go back to our campsite and enjoy our vacation. Turns out it was something bigger so hes putting together a quote. Read some of the negative reviews after and wondered if it was the same place. There is a dog but a nice dog, didnt jump on me or anything. They also gave us fresh homemade peach/blueberry cobbler. And Mark was busy and not always available to talk but nice and very helpful.
This is a great repair facility. I cant say enough about Nancy and the customer service she provided. They do what they say they will and for what they quote and if they cant they will get it done, will make sure it gets to wherever it has to go without extra charge to you. They definitely work for you. Thanks Nancy and Bavarian Autohaus! Heather P.
Mark is wonderful to work with! He was very easy going and informative. Before we met with Mark at Bavarian, we had a lot of trouble finding someone to diagnose our Mercedes Benzs issues. Bavarian has the proper tools to do so and they were able to help us while demonstrating stellar customer service. I highly recommend Bavarian to anyone who wants high quality(&HONEST) service at a fair price!!
Fast, friendly, all around great service!
Our ML 320 Cdi broke down do to a serpentine fan belt break down. Bavarian was able to repair the truck on a timely manner and on budget. One star off for not being able to have parts on hand and having to wait one day. Nancy was great to deal with, and they washed our suv on the way out. Would recommend to friends and family.
Mark and his staff are pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Rates are very reasonable and they didnt try to upsell us anything we didnt need!
Super grateful for all the calls that Bavarian Autohaus has fielded regarding our 1989 VW Van. Mark has been very patient, listening, offering some suggestions and educating us. Thank you very much.
Great people doing great work
They told me the transmission is broken to an unfixable extent and wanted to completely replace it for multiple thousand dollars. So we towed the car home and noticed they didnt even take anything apart. After about 30 minutes of wrggling on parts ourselves, we found out that a CV axle was the actual culprit and got the car rolling again for $50 in parts. We even told them that it felt like it was the CV axle but Im not sure if they even checked it out.Make sure to get a second opinion before spending thousands at this place.
They just want your money, they dont do there job right.
We have enjoyed excellent service from the guys at Bavarian Autohaus on several occasions. They have been very thorough and upfront with us about issues with our vehicles and offered helpful advice and service at very reasonable prices. They even offer a military discount!
Everyone at the shop was immensely helpful. Very good service as well as great rates. Brought in an older vehicle and they did wonders for it. Highly recommend
Very friendly, good value, and full of integrity. Integrity and professionalism were the biggest concerns for my family in finding a good repair shop, and we are 100% willing to commute from Oak Harbor to get the Quality of service weve found here at Bavarian Autohous. No hesitation... Hey, Oak Harbor!!... is worth the trip!!
Was my first time putting my Benz in a shop. Was unaware of how anxious I was. Had also missed my first 2 scheduled appointments due to my own scheduling erros....They were kind, patient, and made me feel like I could trust them for all my future needs. Highly reccomend!!!The Mercedes dealer quoted me 750$ to replace a faulty crankshaft sensor. Bavarian auto did it for 263$ BONUS they washed my very dirty car.Pax vobiscum
Always helpful. Very good work.
Mark is great to work with! He always lets you know all your options and isnt shy about telling you when you dont really need what you thought you might even when it means a smaller invoice for him. They clearly have the long term relationship in mind and it shows!
I bought a used audi. Took it to them because they where the experts around skagit on Audis..... I told them I need a full inspection done on the car. If there was anything wrong I wanted to know. Got the report back we had and oil leak needed breaks needed valve cover and Cam shaft seals and didnt have rear break sensors. I asked them about the coolent leak and I was told it wasnt anything due to it not being on the service sheet.. Prior to all this we were smelling antifreeze. So took it to Burlington automotive report came back. They have to pull my engine due to a antifreeze leak on the back side of the engine... Other then that they car is great I did breaks on it prior to Burlington automotive. I called BMW auto to see what the hell was going on and simply I was told they do not honor there bumper to bumper inspection and Id be fully refunded. However now I am stuck with a 6000 plus dollar bill because they didnt do as they said. So me opinion do not take your car there unless you want to deal with people who dont honor there word.
A ton of people recommended me to them and I was greatly dissapointed. Had to bring my car back multiple times for the same thing that should be been fixed the first time. And it smells like cigarettes in the main lobby with a dog running around..
Great service and done right the first time!
I took my 08 gti here with some issues(car lost power on the highway then I pulled over and it died), and they highly overprice their hours, and they over extend the time they work on something for. They also took my engine out completely, which they didnt even confirm with me to do, for a diagnostic for the cylinder head, which they told me had blown, and then later told me they hadnt even opened up the cylinder head itself. I just recently got my car back after they took over a week to put my engine back in, Becuase I was tired of dealing with them and wasnt going to pay their price, only to find that the havent even strapped all my hoses and other things down, and my air filter very misplaced. I wouldnt recommend this autoshop.
I took my car to Bavarian auto and they charge me three times as much as any other shop in town on what they thought was wrong with my car then realized after charged me 850 bucks they didn’t even fix the problem so they charge me another $800 to fix the original problem I’ll never go there again
They do amazing auto work but have problems honoring a vehicle fix that has failed after returning vehicle!
Its so great to be able to count on and trust the crew of Bavarian Autohaus with my familys vehicles. Thank you!!!
Come in and check us out! Im there 7:30 - 5:30 Mon thru Fri!!! Will do my best to get you back on the road 😊
The service is friendly, Mark knows his stuff and you get a real sense that he cares deeply about doing the best possible job for his clients. When I need advice, I know who I can trust, and that is Mark at Bavarian Autohaus.
Worked with me and admitted when they were beat. Dida fantastic job of staying in communication and by the end got it all figured out.
Worst customer service ever... delay service so they can charge you sublet fee...do not get the job done right... STAY AWAY from this place it is a mess....
Thanks
