A younger sales person was helping me and was very nice, but an older sales lady got involved and was very rude. The store has nice, high end clothing but the return policy is for a store credit only.
I stop by ECCO every time I visit Burlington but have been shopping online during the pandemic. The staff has been so helpful in answering questions about sizing, fit, fabric, etc. I have also been impressed with how quickly I receive my purchases - without paying extra for overnight shipping.
I wanted to go out of my way to say what a nice experience I had at ECCO in Burlington today. I am 22 weeks pregnant with a wedding in 3 three weeks. This means dress shopping has been last-minute and pretty stressful. I went in to ECCO after failing to find what I needed at a few other places. The women on staff were immediately so kind to me and made me feel supported while I tried on dresses. I found a really beautiful, reasonably priced dress that I am so happy with. Based on this experience, Id recommend this shop to anyone.
Beautiful clothing and all the sales clerks are so pleasant and kind, thank you
Great variety of styles! The staff was very helpful helping me pick out an outfit for a rehearsal dinner. They made me feel comfortable. Excellent customer service!
Archaic return/exchange policy paired with shockingly rude managing staff created a very negative and expensive regret on my visit. This shop should really consider treating customers better if they want to encourage returning consumers. At least pretend to be respectful while you are enforcing your unreasonably rigid return policy. ?
A necessary stop for any formal or casual event! I’ve been buying my jeans here since my very first pair of nice jeans (Rock and Republic) in 7th grade when I just had to have them because that’s what Miley Cyrus wore.
Some of the staff were fine but there were a few looked down their nose at us. They made the experience of shopping awkward. The clothing is beautiful but pricey for most Vermonters. Sizes are on the small end. Their return policy is not great.I will go in here everyone once and a while and just avoid sales people.
Great staff, great selection of varying labels. The ladies there know what they’re doing and are super helpful with finding sizes and giving you options. I wish there was one of these in my town!
Love the clothes!!!!
Super expensive as expected with higher end clothes. My wife likes it so I tag along. Some girls are a little snobby but most are very nice.
I occasionally shop at Ecco in downtown Burlington. I have always been pleased with my purchases there and have received many compliments. The staff is very helpful and extremely friendly. This past April however, I bought a $148 Page Dahl shirt. I usually do not spend that kind of money on one item, but I fell in love with the shirt and figured it would last a while. I have washed it twice religiously following the directions for wash on the blouse. It is the second wash and the shirt is falling apart. I am pulling and cutting threads from practically every seam. I am extremely disappointed.
Amazing place for modern clothing designs for Mom and daughter. Shopped there recently and their selection includes a nice array of mens jeans in good styles as well.
It could happen anywhere... Unfortunately it happened at Ecco Clothes in Burlington, after seeing the most perfect pair of boots it was decided that we would pay premium pricing to support the local retail trade... Bad choice... After trying the boots on and walking in them more than you ever could while in the store it was found that they just werent right for my feet. (You know that aching foot thing that you cant resolve no matter how you wear the shoes). At this time we were home and unable to drive right over to the store... (4.5 hours) So... After attempting to contact the store it was clear that their customer service was lacking... Unanswered emails first round. Finally getting ahold of the store. It was clear they were only going to do store credit. Apparently that is their return policy that we did not notice or hear about while in store. If they were a frequently visited place we may have setttled for that. It was offered that we would pay for shipping to execute the return as we were not going to be over there any time soon (they seem like the kind of establishment that would have expiring gift cards.) In attempts to discuss further with management we have been blatantly ignored, having gotten nowhere. Just rude service and poor customer satisfaction. (We still have the boots and are realizing as time goes by we might not make the return cut at all. 1 star for looking like a nice shop, but all else is lacking, product quality for price, store policies, and all else just arent there. Going on 2 weeks with no responses or willingness to be a top shelf high priced store.... Boooooo
Beware!!!! Worst costumer service ever. Total rip off Bought item Did not wear it tags on it i found pull in fabraric brought back within 3 days. was told “ it was normal wear and tear” WAS NEVER WOREN and Denied refund or store credit THIS STORE IS A TOTAL RIP OFF BEWARE !!!!
Only For Thin Women? My friends and co-workers were right. Only women size up to Medium can find dresses at ECCO in downtown Burlington. A fellow shopper said it was her second try, and we both happened to end up at Macys later the same day.
Love all there stuff
Worst customer service! My friend and I went in during the sidewalk sale and a grumpy older lady snapped at us several times. I tried to let them know about our experience on Instagram to see if I would get an apology but they just deleted my comment.
The couch wasnt as superb as Stellas but it was firm in all the right places.
Right on trend!
