We purchased from here instead of getting something shipped from Amazon because we were hoping for better quality & better customer service, not to mention supporting local, and we were not disappointed. Everyone we spoke with was super kind & helpful, our order was ready quickly and they fully loaded it into our vehicle, and when we had a slight issue with our order they were extremely quick to resolve it. The futon looks great and the mattress is really comfy. We did go with the tahoe pine frame which is not the best quality wood, but that’s to be expected in our price range - opt for better if you can afford it. Overall, worth the extra drive to Burlington (or the shipping cost if you get delivery)

Love this Store. I was researching Futon Covers online over the winter and finally visited the store about a month ago. I had quite a thick futon mattress so required a custom cover which I ordered. However when I received it, the thickness was for a normal 8 cover. Disappointed and back at the store, I was immediately asked if I wanted a refund or the correct item. I requested a redo and Ann actually delivered the correct futon cover to my door. Spectacular service. I thought I would have to wait another 2 weeks but the issue was resolved the same day. Cannot ask for more.

Ive been researching futons for a couple of weeks and just like everything else online, too much information. Its great that you can go locally to a shop that truly knows their stuff. Instead a of buying online, I went directly to the store last week and Ron was great and very helpful. They had various mattresses and frame options on display and it was easy to test things out. Price was reasonable and the mattress we chose is backed by a 5 year warranty. My son couldnt be happier and loves his new futon. The Royal polyfil has great support and is super comfortable. Thanks again. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Brian was super friendly and helpful! Even stayed a few minutes late (I got there right before they closed - my bad) but he was happy to help! No high pressure up-selling which I appreciated; just a genuine desire to help! I also love that the Futon Shop is family run and operated!!

The Futon Shop is great! All my questions were answered and then some. Service was very friendly. I didn’t buy right away because my vehicle was too small, but phoned a few days later when I decided to have it delivered. Again, amazing service. Quality is more than I expected. Delivery was within a week. Perfect for a person like me who wants it now. Oh, and assembly...I watched the video...and me...a 63 year old woman had very little difficulty putting it together. Very impressed.

I have shopped here for years and have always gotten great products and great service from the staff. There is a good price range too. So depending on how much you want to spend, there is always something there for you. They have closed the store in Hamilton, so I have to go to Burlington now to shop.

Hands down, the best quality in futons around. You will be so happy with your purchase. There futons are high quality Canadian made and are made to last. When I ordered my futon online their service was so amazing. Wish more places were like the futon shop and cared about customers like they do.

I came here to purchase my very first futon mattress as I purchased a trifold frame from somewhere else.The service here matches the quality - OUTSTANDING!!Anne helped me choose the right mattress and suggested a two piece for me trifold - and she wasnt wrong!The pickup was as easy and shopping and Ron happily put the mattress into the backseat of my car.I am MORE than ecstatic about my purchase!!Thank you sooooooooooooo much for taking me through my first futon mattress purchase and being patient as I tried each option out a few times and tried to pick the right cover for it!!!!

The gentleman working here was very helpful! He explained everything clearly and helped me decide which futon I wanted but gave me a few minutes to make up my mind on my own. :) I like that they make their own mattress covers in store! I bought a queen size mattress-futon (cotton-filledmatterss) from this store one year ago. It was half price of my IKEA latex queen mattress and its more comfortable. Great value! Thanks.

The Service was awesome. They delivered our tempur bed (now getting the best sleep ever). The delivery person was courteous and helpful. We also purchased a futon from them over 10 years ago and its still working perfectly.
