This location was amazing with every employee I came into contact with asking if I needed assistance and the check out person even saying have a great day. But mostly I wanted to commend Jennifer, she was knowledgeable and recommended a better tooling kit that was motorized when I was asking her to locate a specific precision tool kit I was looking for. She was was so helpful and everyone else was friendly and asked if I needed any help, I will make sure I choose this location as often as possible. I have only handed out 2 or 3 FIVE star reviews and this location is definitely deserving of one of my 5 stars.

Harbor Freight is one of those has the so many of the tools, equipment and supplies you need at the price you can afford. Much of the contents of the store is made outside the United States but is hard to beat the price.For any complicated piece of machinery be it hammer drill or air compressor, the extended warranty when available is great value and generally useful.If tools are your toys, Harbor Freight is your toy store. This location really deserves 4.5 stars. No place is perfect.

They were super helpful when we called to check stock. The soda blaster needed a small modification (as described in online videos by others) before it would work, but then cut out HOURS on our project.

They expect 80% name collection. Allen was harassing a older woman to make goals. Big waste of time going in takes 15 min to check out, because they are being forced to beg you to join the membership.

Returning an American Flag due to it being made in China.The cashier very rudely said well go spend $20.00 or more for one made in America! I was like Yes I will because its A American Company who employs Americans! I will not enter that store ever again!!

Its Harbor Freight. Seems the same as just about every other Harbor Freight store that Ive been to. What little staff there is seems to be relatively friendly. This is where you get tools that are good enough to get the job done. No boutique tools here. If youre looking for the likes of Snap-on, Mac Tools, Miller, or Makita and have the dollars for such things, best look elsewhere. That said, if you are the kind of person who takes good care of their tools, then the tools you buy here will be generally good enough. The dollars you save by buying here can be spent on those specialty tools youll need when that extra bit of finesse or extra tight tolerance is required.

Good selection of tools and supplies for less.

If you need an inexpensive tool for a one time job Harbor Freight has been your store of choice. Increasingly you find better longer lasting products. I bought a small compressor that is quiet enough for airbrush use indoors. It also is powerful and portable enough to fill tires and power air tools.

Harbor Freight has literally everything, and very low prices compared to the big box hardware stores. Ive never gone there looking for something i didnt find. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Theyre ready to assist from the moment you walk in and they point you right to where you need to go rather than following on your heels.

He helped me understand the mobile site he waked me thru it so I could use it another time .He was very friendly and professional, very concerned I received the information I called for.We are on Our way to purchase our product .We live out in the country so itll tKe 40 min there, so you could understand why I needed to clarify they had my product before I waste gas and time . Harbor Freight sells low quality tools at extremely low prices. This low rating is not due to the quality of the tools, but the quality of the service. I was looking for a very specific engine stand that says it is in stock on the web site. I drove nearly an hour to this specific store to buy a specific item that was supposedly in stock. When I went to check out, the cashier says that yes they have it in stock, however it is the display unit and they would not sell it. This inventory conundrum is probably why they dont allow you to buy online and pickup in store.TL;DR: Do not trust their online claims of which stores actually have stock. Call ahead and make them put hands on it.

I was simply accompanying someone, with no intention of purchasing anything, but wound up leaving after having purchased a half-dozen items that I was unaware I needed.This establishment carries a wide variety of hardware mainly focused on inexpensive tools and other assorted items to help you get the job done.

I purchased a 100 garden hose at the beginning of summer 2019 and had to replace it 2 times. Now I have repaired hose twice so far this year. The other products I have purchased from them have been reliable but garden hoses are not up to par

Something changed. When I entered the Burlington, NC store, I was asked if I wanted help finding something! what I wanted was not in stock on the shelves, and the person helping me volunteered to check the back room storage to see if what I wanted was there. Thats different than my usual experience at harbor freight.

I was greeted as I walked in and employees went above and beyond to help me. Store was clean and organized and had safety procedures

Harbor Freight as a store has some great values and not so great cheap items. You have to be careful and match your use of the tool to what you are getting. Many tools are as good as you would get as box stores. If it looks to be a cheap tool, however, it is probably even cheaper than you think. Most will be Chinese. If you compare to AliExpress, you will probably find similar after taking into account shipping, and you can get them the same day.This store is larger than some, is clean, and has a good selection of tools. Staff was friendly.

This place is the best place for tools and great service

Normally I have a good experience at this store. Lately theyve been having only one cashier which makes the lines longer and delayed, especially since they have wonderful discounts and coupons that need to be used. In this case I came to exchange a cooling towel I purchased last week. (When I opened it, it looked, not new. The package really has no protection at all, and I honestly didnt want it but I was told that because of COVID I couldnt return it. Im not one to argue so I kept the darn thing, praying and trusting the cashier that told me that they come that way. Really I just wanted a different one.) Anyway. Besides the point. I stood in line for 5 minutes to exchange it at this one opened register. A Harbor Fright Lady walks to a second register and takes two people. So Im thinking, oh yeah, were moving. So, it happens that each of them had to run through their phone numbers, through coupons, and through accounts, etc. Ten minutes later, the initial line I was at had already seen 4 customers. So I moved back, and I was the last one, and again same issue at my newly moved line.. As courtesy, when the Lady cashier, manager, whatever, finished with the two people ahead of me should have help me, she closed the register... Well. Then!!! 4 minutes later after this cashier going through coupons and a new roll of receipt tape... When the guy at the register explained to me how he couldnt take Cooling Towel back and I left, he said to the man behind me I apologise for the delay.... (!!!???????))))

Nice store. Has all kinds of small things you will find useful. Small pocket lights, key chain knifes, trailer lights, trailer wheels, tools, chains, work benches, stools, tool cases and it goes on and on. Definitely worth a visit. Take a buggy in with you because you will not come out without buying a few things.

Cheap quality tools blah blah. Everybody knows that, but this Boss of Blades was pleasantly surprised to have added 5 more additions to the collection from here. From a machete, to a jagged hunting knive with a compus and survival kit, to a mailbox key shank. Now THATS cheap quality tools ;)

Good place to get cheap tools. Yes, there are some things you dont skimp on here ( maybe drills, drill bits, regular sockets, etc.) But for the most part you can buy twice the amount of tools as you could at Lowes, with the same amount of money. I did get a really banged up toolbox from there last week, but had to problem exchanging it. Great customer service.

They also have tools for commercial usage, yet these naturally costs more. We get what we pay for, Harbor Freight has a tool for most every need & budget.I like the store because as a hobbyist, usually has what I need, when I need any. Plus some essentials such as paper towels, while stock may vary, the quality of service at Harbor Freight Tools of Burlington are always consistent, unlike some of the big name home improvement stores. Highly recommended to others to visit.Lastly, Id like to comment on an unfair bad review, if one doesnt have a receipt at most any store, the same cannot expect a refund, nor even store credit. As some purchases en masse on eBay & resells the same brands of some items, the employees has no idea where the item(s) came from. Plus they ask for a phone number at every visit for security, so would know someone made a purchase & the dollar amount. Even with cash purchases, the phone number is asked for, so thats like a secondary receipt.Ive been 100% satisfied with every purchased at Harbor Freight & their small tools has saved the day for me on several occasions. Hopefully theyre prosper & stay here for years to come.

I always like the 20% to 25% off 1 item. It doesnt work on most high end or high priced stuff but when you need something else its very handy.
