For a powersports shop they are great. They were able to order a part that nobody else had. Yea it took a while to get it but it was in no way their fault. Overall though the people are awesome and very helpful. Little on the pricey side but theres a reason people pay the prices and thats for the level of service and part availability they have.

Ive been visiting this place of business for a little over ten years now. As a potential buyer exploring to get back into motorcycles someday, we were always approached by the staff with a smile and always felt welcomed by everyone we encounter even though when Ive mentioned we were just browsing around and thanked them for their effort of approach. The staff was always polite and encouraging to say please dont hesitate to ask us if you have any questions. There were times when we visited that they were swamped with customers which was a great sign of a good business. The atmosphere the staff displayed to us even with just a hand wave of hi was comforting and a welcoming experience even though again we were just there to browse around. As much as my son and I visited SP many times, I always impressed on him proper etiquette when in a place of business to be very mindful when looking around equipment, and to always ask a staffs permission whenever you want to try out something whether its PPE or mounting on a motorcycle on display. As a customer being polite and respectful in a place of business goes a long way for the customer to be welcomed to come back and continue to build good relations with the staff.Fast forward 10 yrs later, found out during our visit the owner was retiring and closing up the business. We bought a few PPE on sale at that time and eventually a motorcycle a few weeks later. Jose and the smaller staff he had at that time provided awesome customer service. It was a bummer that they were closing up, but a couple of months later we found out during one of our visits that they will be reopening back up for business which was great news! With the new owner and slowly getting the store built back up, while this pandemic is going on its a huge challenge on all businesses to stay open. Kudos to Jose and his small staff for hanging in there. As always, their customer service whether its from Sales, Parts or Service department has continued to be awesome and top notch in my book. Keep up the great work and God Bless!

8-2019Purchased a used motorcycle last month and looking to purchase and BRAND NEW bike within the next 30 days, should be no problem test riding the potential bike that you know is THE one.Called twice this morning to make sure the bike that I wanted to test ride would be available. Drove 30 min to the storefront with the hopes of test riding, however, once I arrived I was told that there would be NO test ride.WHY? ...because we need to keep the miles low on the motorcycles...I did test ride the same bike with different equipment installed and I wanted to make sure that the bike that I wanted was perfect before purchase. For the sake of $10k included the sale of the bike, accessories, and future purchases.... why wouldnt you let a returning customer ride the bike they want? Not only the initial $10k but any future larger purchases have been flushed back out the front door to another dealer WILLLING to work with customers.I cant post a ZERO star score...so a (1) will have to suffice.11-11-2019Edit: I purchased a sub 1k mile Yamaha Bolt R-spec from Cyclebarn in Smokey Point the week following my initial post putting roughly 3,000 miles on it and have had a wonderful time with the staff there!

All of the staff at Skagit Powersports is amazing, and I love how hard they work to support women in the sport. My friend and I both bought bikes there in 2017. She was going to do her first track day the weekend after I ordered my bike (I wanted new black R6 and they didnt have one in stock) and I wanted to join her. Bill, the owner, went above and beyond to find me the exact bike I wanted and get it ready in time. He literally pre-delivery inspected my bike the night before the track day, and had it delivered to me AT THE TRACK! Not only that, but once we got to the track, he made sure that my friend and I were both really well taken care of at the track. Neither of us had ever been on a racetrack before, and he made sure we had a safe and fun day. This level of customer service isnt just reserved for us either, Bill is very passionate about motorsports and will do anything he can to provide the best service possible to all customers. His staff is fantastic as well. I moved to California over a year ago and I still call Jose Mateu there to order all of my parts because hes incredibly fair, knowledgeable, and never tries to sell me on anything. He does his research to make sure Im getting the best deal and putting the right parts on my bikes for optimal race performance. I wont shop anywhere else.

They left my bike in straight up dangerous and scary driving conditions.Broke my speed sensor, I’m lucky they didn’t break a lot more.Overtorqued my forks(I’m guessing x12)Left the cauter pin out of chain tensionerI brought my kl250G in so they could install new sprockets/chain.That repair went fine.I needed new tires, so I ordered a set through SP. This was Thursday or Friday I believe. They told me tires would definitely be there by next Tuesday.(I live on Orcas Island so I decided to take a little road trip, stay off island until Tuesday. Tuesday comes around and no tires. The lady reassured me they would be there by Wednesday and that she would call me when they came in.Wednesday passed, no call. I called Thursday around noon and she said”well they came in yesterday(I believe she said around 3) but it was late so I didn’t call.”She then told me that there were no mechanics to work on my bike Friday, so if I wanted it done I would have to be there today. Not gonna work, I’m south of Seattle, could have been there if you called me when tires came in Yesterday!!!Anyways, after wasting my time and not working by staying off island over a week, I had to cancel a day of work during a different week and come off to get the tires installed. This is where things got real scary. After they installed the tires, the mechanic apparently “found a 2x4” on the test drive, breaking the speed sensor.BS, had them send me the new speed sensor(which thankfully they sent me for free) found there was NO cauter pin installed on chain tensioner(which could cause chain to come out, causing destruction and an unsafe riding situation) the forks were WAY Overtorqued(assuming they got lb per square inch confused with per. Square foot, meaning they torqued to 12x the proper pressure) 😭🥺And when I got to the speed sensor, neither the housing of the sensor, or the sensor itself were installed correctly.Freakin easy to install them, there are notches showing how to orient them.Oh and they told me the sticker weights wouldn’t stick so they had to use/charge me for spike weights. 😂😂 I polish my wheels, if you don’t clean them then yes, sticker weights won’t stickThe lady told me that they just broke a speed sensor on someone else’s bike in the last weekThis was in July or late Jun, 2019Go somewhere more reputable or work on your own bike!!Seems like the people dealing with my bike in the repair section had no interest or enjoyment in quality, honest work.Guys in the retail section were great.
