Had Rx filled 6/29/2021 and it was much better. Told me online scripts were ready and they were. Pharmacist handled my transaction and was very good. I am encouraged!
Now that Covid is slowly winding down, its time to add a positive review. Its understandable, but also unfortunate that the pharmacy is being hammered for corporate decisions during the Pandemic. For the past year, service has been slow due to a change in how people handle their prescriptions, which means a LOT more people through the drive through and less at the counter where there are multiple registers. Of course, this is going to significantly increase wait time. Its unavoidable.Add to this, that CVS staff across the board are both struggling with the virus and with staffing. They are understaffed, overworked and at times, overwhelmed. This increases wait time. When corporate added Covid testing, it massively destroyed even what was an unwanted change in service. A drive-through Covid test (the only method offered) can result in a 10-20 minute service for that vehicle alone. What may otherwise have previously been a 2-5 minute encounter. Meanwhile, you wait. And yes, it took longer to fill prescriptions, also, and work volume increased dramatically with no boost in staff (and a reduction in some cases). The result is that service faltered and was often frustrating. The thing is, thats not the fault of the people working incredibly hard at the store itself. They not only endured the workload, but the impact of the virus on their own staff and the ire of frustrated people waiting in line. And almost all of it was the result of decisions made above the front line.In recent months, things have returned closer to normal, though drive-through Covid testing still occurs, and will still interrupt the flow of cars through the drive-through. But the registers are still open and handling customers (which more are willing to do).My own personal experience is that I had some issues during the pandemic, and some of them were frustrating. There were times that orders were placed only to be out of stock or fell behind promised times due to the overall work load. I will not pretend those werent frustrating especially if you had to return later. However, I never ran into issues prior to the pandemic, nor am I running into them today. I am aware enough to recognize if there is a test in front of me, I will have to wait or go inside. That is simply reality and nothing to get upset about. But even those interruptions are becoming fewer and far between. The staff works hard, they deliver on their promises and estimates for filling scrips, and they have the staffing needed to handle the volume today.Dont judge them based on the chaos caused across the system and industry by the pandemic. Corporate adapted badly, the individual stores did everything they could under the circumstances they were given. Outside the pandemic, Ive had nothing but exceptional service. Thats what matters.
One of my son took Covin19 test we waited almost week and half no Result we got first time but second time test was take 5 day Iam not sure if they are same situation.
They are consistently late with filling prescriptions, and sometimes they dont even fill the prescription at all
DO NOT GET A COVID TEST HERE! We scheduled my Covid test for Wednesday 11/11 at 12:30, we got there on time, and there was just one car in front of us. WE WAITED 30 MINUTES FOR ONE CAR, and then my test took another 20 minutes. And the cherry on top is that IT HAS BEEN 9 DAYS AND I DONT HAVE MY RESULTS BACK. I haven’t been able to go back to work, and I have been left in the dark for 9 DAYS because CVS can’t do their job. please, if you need a Covid test, absolutely do not come here.
I have not had one good experience at this location. I have been dealing with migraines since we moved to the area 1.5 years ago and have continuously tried to give the staff the benefit of the doubt, as I understand being short staffed and now trying to work during unprecedented times. That said, each time I get a prescription filled, theres an issue. Last month, I used the automated system to refill. I received three calls from the system letting me know the prescription was ready to be picked up. Having relied on that system in the past only to be disappointed, I called to verify. A staff member confirmed the meds were ready. I arrived to pick them up later that day and was told not only were they NOT ready, they were still awaiting my doctors approval (which should not have even been necessary as I still had multiple refills and was not attempting to refill early). I repeated this process twice more on the following days - after of course receiving automated called letting me know that now it was ready - only to be told each time I arrived back that the doctor has not yet approved.Fast forward to earlier this week when I called to see why my prescriptions were taking days to process. Three had been sent over from my neuro at the same time, yet the pharmacy tells me they only have one of three, but theyre working on it (and have been for two days). Its too late to contact the office of the neuro, so I tell her Ill check on the situation the following day. I do as soon as they open, and receive an immediate response from my neuro saying the pharmacy has all three prescriptions in their possession. Less than an hour later, I receive (again multiple) calls from the automated system letting me know that ALL THREE are ready. Nine hours later, my SO goes to retrieve them for me only to be told they arent ready....itll be 15 minutes. To make an already long story a bit shorter, Ill just say that even after waiting, he was sent home with only two of three of the prescriptions I needed.I genuinely wish I could say this was surprising, but I havent EVER had a smooth or positive experience here. Once I go today to finally retrieve what I need - which would be less of a big deal if I wasnt struggling with debilitating headaches for which I need these prescriptions - I will never again be utilizing this pharmacy. At the risk of being a complete Karen, I wrote you a novel in hopes that you realize you should spare yourself unnecessary stress, avoid interactions with rude and seemingly incompetent staff that have never, in my experience, taken responsibility for nor apologized in any capacity for the inconveniences I mentioned (or countless others I havent), and avoid this pharmacy at all costs too.
Having worked as a pharmacist myself I have a great deal of grace for the folks behind the counter. But corporate offices are cutting back staff so much that it’s literally impossible to rely on CVS at all. And now that they started drive through COVID testing in their only drive thru lane you should absolutely pick up caribou on your way to get your prescriptions. And also bring and iPad with an episode or two or westworld or something, because even mid day during the week you should be prepared to wait for 45-60 minutes just to be told they’re not ALL done. Only this one. They have the tools, and they have the skills. But they don’t have the time. Wish corporate cared about patients or at least pretended to.
Every time I have a prescription called in from the doctor office it is never ready when I go to pick it up. They only start filling the prescription when you get there. Then they tell you to come back in three hours. This ticks me off every time, but I can’t switch because of insurance. They always give me the same excuse that they are short staffed or the pharmacist is new. The real reason is they won’t hire enough pharmacists.
Very disrespectful. Pharmacy tried to give me a prescription that I am allergic to even though they confirmed it. Then, they didnt have strength needed so they were going to have me double up on lower dose and charge me for twice as much. This took them 2 days to mess up. Not even an apology!
Though I do enjoy CVS. There isnt much there. They have an extremely small selection of Summer toys. I get it its a pharmacy and caters to the health end of the spectrum yet I feel they should and could do better. I do like the discount card and the staff are wonderful but I can never find what Im looking for here
Pharmacy staff especially a lady named barb is super rude and not helpful. I will forsure go somewhere else next time. Staff in the store always seem friendly and pleasant though.
30 minutes on hold. Still havent gotten a response. Guess they are too busy for customers.
Quite honestly, I feel blessed to have this CVS and its staff in my life. Seaneen and Pam from the pharmacy are lifesavers. They always make me feel welcome and comfortable. They have helped me find coupons to save money when prescriptions are expensive with insurance. They take great care of me and I always feel comfortable to ask them for help. The rest of the staff is typically very friendly as well. I never go in there and not laugh, even when I am sick as can be. Thanks for taking such good care of my family and me!!
Never Ever fill prescriptions quickly - Still in process 12 days later
The staff are rude and lazy
Love going to this pharmacy. The employees are always nice and get us through the drive through quickly!
Horrible customer service. Called in to ask for pricing regarding photo development and was completely disregarded where the worker Donna said she did not know the price and couldn’t find it out for me. Completely incompetent and even worse - she was extremely rude and placed me on hold without asking and didn’t pick up after more than five minutes before I hung up.
New to CVS pharmacy..have tried to sign up 3 times...given different info each time. Rude staff..thinking I will try another CVS.
Very helpful employees also I forgot some cash on the counter one of the workersfollowed me outside and returned my cash
My health benefits have recently changed and they swithed to CVS. Since the switch I had nothing but trouble with CVS. The pharmacists treat you like trash. Very unprofessional and they simply dont care. I wish I can go somewhere else. Im bery disatisfied
I love this store. Its quiet and full of coupons
I love this pharmacy. Its good place and friendly
Great place, good stock and love the deals with the CBS card!
Love this pharmacy :-) Everyone is always super friendly and helpful! Customer service at its best!
The place was destroyed and the lady I spoke to was angry and rude
Miss Seaneen
I witnessed a pharmacy associate being very rude to a customer. Lighten up, barb!
Showed up to minute clinic with a sick kid a half hour before close; web site showed no wait but wouldnt let me hold place. Someone else was signing in ahead of us, employee told us we couldnt be seen. If they are open they should take us... cmon!
Soso, average
Tired of the rude pharmacy staff treating people like they arent important. Also when they have things out of stock they do not help you in any way to contact another cvs store to see if they may have it in stock, instead they make you have to do the leg work in calling every store to find it. Total B.S.!!!
Rude staff
Rude staff and inefficient.
Friendly customer and staff
It is a typical CVS.
There is a good assortment and the attention is good.
