This JOANN’s store always has a sale, the staff are friendly and I can find unique merchandise and gifts to buy that I don’t find at other stores. I would recommend that you sign up for emails to get extra discounts as they won’t be offered prior to cashing out. My only complaint is that there never seems to be enough cashiers to check you out quickly out of the store. There’s no reason why the check out line can’t be moving faster than it does. Today, it took forever for another cashier to come to the front to help with the queue. My preference is to shop at this store rather than cross town into Flint, but it can be super slow in the store and still take forever to check out.

Changed coupons so cant combine anymore without telling customers. Overcharged $10 on item had to make special trip back waited 20 minutes and then they wouldnt give me $5 Michigan scanner overcharge law. Stated price tag clearance dont have to honor it. Against the law but didnt want to waste anymore time. If I waste gas and time I want the $5 owed for overcharge.

I always ride along with my mom on her trips here. They have flyers that come in the mail, emails, and an app. EVERYTIME we go there for her to get a pattern or material they tell her, oh no thats not on sale you must have read your dates wrong. Well turns out she never has. What you have to do is show them the ad or email. Then they pretend they dont know what the scanning law is or how to ring it on the computer. This place is awful for screwing over their customers. It happens every time! Please be vigilant and check your receipts.

Easy to get turned around in however their selections are great and a request for help is always met with a smile.

This place gets a five-star for me Jordan was on sale just what I went for and I asked a lady to help me and she did I so wished I can remember her name now but I did tell that I need to check me out to tell her thank you very much so helpful so kind and polite you really cant ask for anything more

The employees were very helpful and the manager was not only extremely helpful when I was trying to choose an item but exceedingly patient with me when I made a mistake at checkout and had to come back in to correct it.I went to the Burton store on Court just before closing yesterday on the 14th, if that makes a difference. I love JoAnn. I love this store, I am an avid crocheter and knitter, I do embroidery and sewing and this is like my drug store. I dont need to spend a lot of the money I do here, Ive spent way too much in yarn and popped out plenty of cute tops and plant baskets and sweaters. This place has everything for your textile needs. Yarns from nice acrylic to beautiful bamboo yarn, embroidery threads everywhere, a massive sewing machine selection, they even have paints, acrylic, watercolor, oil, chalk, a lot! Michaels is more of the arts and crafts store, this place is more of the textile store for all your sewing and fabric needs. I love it. JoAnn has a home decorations section and its also pretty great, from cute pots to fake flowers to pillows and even storage. The coupons in the app or in the store are awesome, sometimes 50% your entire purchase. Free shipping, 25% in store pickup, a whole bunch of deals. The bags are great too, at check out they have reusable tote bags, I bought a bunch of those and they basically moved me into my dorm, and I only tore two! The totes are cute and totally worth it, and Im always coming back for yarn or totes or anything.

Clean and organized store. Staff is friendly and helpful, but it is hard to find someone most of the time.Because of COVID-19 the custom framing department is closed. The website is supposed to give the location of the stores that have one open. I went to Michaels nearby to get some framing done.

They werent very helpful, asked zero questions about my project and didnt actually help me get what I needed. Also very pricey.

This place is freaking awesome I was amazed when I walked in the door I thought this was only for sewing and material. Every kind of art and crafts you can think, of I paint acrylic so I get my brushes there. They are a little pricey though but if you sign up for their app you get lots of coupons and discounts.

Slightly over priced on some things while others where very fairly priced. Still my favorite place for my craft needs even for the small kids. I do not recommend going near the holidays if you are wheelchair bound since it is so crowded other than that nice employees great service and they are never very rude. Its like walking into your aunts....if your aunts house was a store.

I went to this Jo-Ann fabric store today because they had a tree skirt in stock. The ones closer to home were out of stock. Sonia greeted us as soon as we entered the store and she was very kind to my family and I. We will definitely be back because of Sonia.

Okay, Im an addict. I have had help every step of the way learning to sew, assistance with fabric for my wedding dress and so many other projects. Fun at the special workshops and activities with my granddaughter. The available coupons and specials as a rewards member rock! I love this place.

The store is always clean and well stocked with the items I need. They have an app that always has great coupons for either a percentage off a single item or off the entire order. The only downfall is the long wait time at checkout.

Never been there myself but my wife and kids love shopping there.

Such a great store. The entire staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. If they personally cannot answer a question I have, they quickly advise me as to where I can get said answer. Ive never waited more than a couple of minutes to be served, whether it be at the register or while having my fabric cut to my specified length. These women are a wealth of knowledge, they also hold classes here very frequently for everything from beginners to DIY queens (LOL) I strongly suggest this specific Joanne store for many reasons. Please check them out when you can!

This location has the best staff, & so appreciate the service during these times. The only reason not to give 5 stars is corporate related; minimum yardage requirements, online website boasts of the rewards program but denies your loyalty number, online orders would not apply extra 20% discount advertised.

I like this store dont get me wrong however their selection at this location is very limited. If Im looking for a specific item I usually have to drive half way across town to Miller Road to the other Joanns just to find what Im looking. Miller Road Joanns has everything I need. If I go to the Center Road Joanns Im usually left disappointed and still have to drive to another location to find what Im looking for. Its the same store! How can the product selection be so different?!

I love this place. The girl who rang me out was so nice to me even though I had like 90 things of paper. She seemed like she was sick or not feeling well and she was still there busting it and being nice while doing it. I wish they had more stickers for the paper crafts but they always have super good deals and it’s always clean.

This is one of the best craft stores around. They have literally anything you might want for nearly any crafting project. Their regular prices are a little high, but they have great sales and if you download the app there are always great coupons on there as well. The customer service here is on point too, all the employees seem happy l, friendly and always willing to help you find just what youre looking for.

Good experience this time. I have noticed that the employees at the Burton store are much more helpful and seem to be happier than what I have experienced at the Flint store. Great product selection for what I needed today.

I love Joann Fabrics store. I wish the cashiers were more consistent on the rules for the coupon App usage. Some cashiers let you and your family or friend use 5he same coupons on seperate orders, as anyone can download the App. Other cashiers will only let you use the coupons one time a day. It all depends on which cashier you get during checkout. Very inconsistent.

In store, not as nice as other locations. However, they have really adapted well to the pandemic and have been exceptional at the curbside pickup.

A very helpful staff is always willing to assist you. The variety is great, but the store is not so large you feel overwhelmed. However, the store is in need of updates. The floors are old and some areas are rundown. I still enjoy shopping here though.

A great place to go if you love all sorts of crafts, need a picture frame, or any type of fabric you may need. Prices are good and always good stuff on sale or clearance.
