Great asset to Butler. Anything you need from clothing to items for your home, firearms, safes, paint, etc. You can even purchase little chicks, items for your boat or car.It is seemingly endless.

Manager at butler store was great. But the company them selves had limited stock for black friday and tan out of stock early into sale. Did not hear back from C.S email I sent

Rural King is a great family store to shop. The variety of departments make it mostly a one stop shop. Many items arent found in other stores. Plus the friendly service when you need help raises the shopping experience a bit above the competition. And the free pop corn doesnt hurt.

Was looking for chain link fence parts but apparently they do not stock items. Searched for an store associate and found one at checkout. Was informed to look at the fence area in back of store or the hardware on the otherwise of store but he did not know for sure. Found nothing.While searching did check out some other hardware prices that I saw at Home Depot earlier and was not impressed.

Have been a loyal customer since opened.However, I have noticed several changes with in last year. Store is fithy, bathrooms always a mess. Floor scrubber was being emptied in front of store across road where customers had to walk. Noticed pallets covered with blue traps in the middle of parking lot. In the hot sun where could be tampered with.As you can tell by reply didnt read review.

The prices are competitive. The workers are polite and very helpful. Plus they loaded my heavy feed (50lbs) into my vehicle.

Overall I like rural king. Prices are great and sometimes even beat my employee discount at a competitor. However my only online order with them was a disappointment. I ordered two bags of feed (1 layer and one chick starter). My neighbor offered to pick it up for me since she was making the trip. When she dropped it off for my I was surprised to see the starter was a broken bag that had been taped back up. Not cool RK.

I meant to write a review, and only realized that I put five stars. My first time there was a great experience. I only bought two things while I was there, but I did look around the store. I love the variety of products in the store. And it was nice to go see the little chicks isle! The store was very clean and the employees were all very nice an helpful.

This place is great. Excellent prices, excellent service, they have a variety of everything including hay,and food for my ducks. Me and my daughter and granddaughter love to shop here, we visit the live ducks, and chickens. Its great shopping experience

Staff was incredibly lazy and rude. The moment i walk in he wasnt wearing a mask, constantly sighing and on his phone. I asked him where a product was, and he pointed in a direction. It was my first time there so i went to wherever he couldnt and still couldnt find it. So i asked another employee and he got incredibly rude and said In hardware, use your brain. Note: Its my first time in there and they dont have a section labeled hardware :) Management needs to crack down on this because its honestly rediculous. How can employees be allowed to treat customers this way?

Store shelves were somewhat empty. Did not have several items listed in the flyer.Cant guarantee type or brand of wood pellets when doing the seasonal pre order.

I love this store,great farm and pet supplies and everything in between cant forget the gun barn love my guns employees are friendly and helpful.

The 3 stars isn’t suppose to be bad as I do enjoy shopping here. Every RK I’ve been to have always had a little bit of everything at competitive prices compared to other retailers. That being said, I am a firearms enthusiast and have been very disappointed in the service and lack of competence in a few of the employees back in Gun Barn. Not everyone however, as there are some great people who work back there. A few times since June 2021, I was waiting for service while it wasn’t busy at all, maybe one or two customers getting a hunting license and still had to wait up to 20mins to get service due to lack of employee competence. Few times I out right walked out while waiting as it was ridiculous on top of wanting to purchase a firearm and it took the same person a good while to even call up the firearm. As a former worker at an FFL I do understand the job can be stressful especially with the current pandemic going on as well as political pressure but that should not excuse the poor service. I’m not saying the individual I’m referring to should be fired but I feel the Gun Barn position is not for them. I also feel RK as whole should require employees who work back there to have a basic understanding of firearms product knowledge and safety as far too many times I’ve seen employees do unsafe firearm practices such as muzzle sweeping. I still intend to do business at Butler Rural King but unless I see certain people working back in gun barn or more competent workers back there, I will not do any business regarding firearms.

Very good customer service and cashiers are always pleasant. Pretty easy to navigate the store after a few visits too.

Online in-store pickup took 45 minutes from start to finish. Unacceptable. Not sure who Jose is (role/function), but he spends a lot of time telling people hes busy/doing something else instead of actually being busy/doing something else

My husband bought a pump on clearance as is. I could understand reselling something that may need a washer or something but this thing was beyond repair, which we discovered after calling the manufacturer. We just got taken for $70.

This was my first time visiting a rural king. I will definitely stop again. The stores lighting was good. It was clean. They had a large selection of things and will go back again. Most if the store was not busy with the exception of a couple areas that were definitely busier than others such as the outdoors hunting fishing selection. Prices were reasonable and worth a stop

Theres also a situation with their loss prevention control people theres just way too many of them for that job and everybody is suspicious to them for some reason its Butler not everybody is a terrorist or out to steal something. Their selection is great dont get me wrong and most of their products are good its just the majority of people who work there.

A good variety of items, but the store is poorly organized which leads to this place feeling cluttered. Also, the lighting makes this place feel like its been forgotten in the early 1990s (even though the location hasnt been open that long).

This place has a wide variety of items. Certain items you wouldnt find it those two giant big box Home Centers that cover the nation. A lot of unique items. Love this place.

Changed to one star. So many things without prices, have to either take to customer service or hunt someone down to scan it. Cashier was absolutely rude as could be. Manager had to come over to help with pos system and even called her on it. Cashier stayed that she didnt feel good and did not want to be there. Complained that she wouldnt be able to go home and had to be there until 9:30. Poor baby.

Went to buy a utility trailer and was told by the front desk to go out and grab the tag. I proceeded to go out and started to grab the tag. The employee outside just starts yelling at me. I let him know what I was told inside. He just kept yelling. So unprofessional. Outside employee could have just asked instead of yelling. Went back into store and left. Just lost 2000 dollar sale. New trailer from Tractor Supply was more expensive but a lot easier.Just tried to call your number left and no one answered. Typical don’t really want to know what happened just want to make it look like you care!

Live in New Castle, called about an item i needed to see if it was in stock( on the shelf). The person on the floor told me yes they had it. I drove over there and they did not have it. And after viewing the stickers on the shelf (underneath each stock item) I could tell they did not stock this item. I gave the person the model number and they did not relay back back to me accurate information. Wasted 40 mile trip. Found the item on Amazon and will have it in 3 days

One of the best places to go for car batteries and then to browse afterwards. We can spend hours here just looking around. My husband did state that he is better off finding his high vis wear elsewhere though as it seems to be overpriced here.

Didnt have my wheel for my cart. People that work there was to busy talking and playing with there phones to help me get what I needed. Went to tractor supply, wish I would of gone there first.
