Cool little bait shop. Small town feel and a good little selection.

Clifford Patton is a saint in my view. Took a guy with no experience and did me right. 1st 2 rod combos are from there. Came back and bought a baitcaster. Before purchase, Otis, the store clerk and great guy made sure I wanted it. Was honest about the drawbacks for beginners. 1st baitcaster. Now I prefer to build based on specific applications such as frogging. Runs out reels before I can get em lol but Ill never, Ever go anywhere else for rods or tackle. Took a newb and made a friend out of him. 37 keepers in the last 2 trips. Only place to go if youre a specific angler. Only place to go if youre not.

I stopped in today to get some nightcrawlers and crickets, and the gentleman who helped me was beyond nice. This will definitely be my go-to bait and tackle shop for the upcoming future.

I am from Washington, visiting family here. This is exactly what a tackle shop is supposed to be! Plenty of great tackle and friendly people. Mr. Patton is the epitome of southern hospitality; friendly, honest, and very helpful. I will stop at his store again when i came back to Cabot. What a wonderful gentleman!

I go out of the way to stop by Pattons for live bait. Goes a long way feeling welcomed the minute you walk through the front door. Excellent prices that wont break the pocket.

Very friendly. Looks like they have alot for Christmas for outdoor sportsmanship. My daughter purchased a camo coat and she loves it. Also if you have pets that eat crickets or worms / beemoths they have those too I got crickets for my Indonesian Whites Tree Frog.
