Everybody there was very friendly helpful we came from out of state and this pet store was just like the pet store we have in our home state lets definitely going to be our go-to store I drive 35 miles every week to the store I live in Little Rock and they have everything for my reptiles we like to support local businesses

They are always friendly and knowledgeable. They have a big turtle named bowser and hes awesome.

I frequent this place for all of my more exotic pets needs. Everyone in there is friendly, quick to help you find something you cant seem to find yourself, or give you advice on the care of whatever creature you may have. I go here at least once a week. The service is never less than 5 stars.

Wonderful place call, loved the little pets. Took my grandson there to pick out a hamster, the lady who worked there so sweet and very helpful. Wish I could remember her name, but the animals came from her farm. Very healthy.

Not only have I applied for a job SEVERAL times here at safari pets, I was declined every time due to various reasons like my tattoos can’t show, I have to take my face jewelry out to wear a face mask, and pass a nicotine test. For a job at a PET STORE. Regardless of that, this business does not take care of their animals in the enclosures that are incredibly too small - on numerous occasions I have come in and seen dead rodents or reptiles in enclosures. Hire people who genuinely care about pets and their well-being.

My daughters pedigree double mane lionhead bunny was bought here a year ago from the kind woman we refer to as The Bunny Lady. I walked in that day with doubts on whether or not we could be good pet owners. After talking with her for a while (a long while to be exact) we were able to walk up to the counter confident that this was a sound and informed decision. To date they have been the most helpful staff that weve experienced and now we are ready to buy bunny #2. Best believe that it will be purchased at Safari Pets

Its a great place to go and look around. Even if you arent purchasing anything. I felt a great peace when I was talkin with the birds.

They have large verity of many items, they had plenty of staff to serve your needs and were helpful in any questions I had . They had small animals such as bunnys, birds, guinea pigs, plenty of parking and hours were good.

Best pet store! Pets seem much more healthy than the chain stores. Most caring staff youll find.

I LOVE the dog wash station!

The people are very helpful when you have money. They sold me the wrong worms which killed my 8 month old Dragon. And refuse to make it right.

8 weeks ago paid $20.00 for our 10 & 12 lb fur babies nails trimmed. Today charged $30.00 and groomer needed me to hold the pups. Priced yourself out of a customer.

Totally love that we can bring our pets (Spikiey our Bearded dragon and Lucifer our boa python) to the store as we shop for their food and items for them, the customer service is amazing. I highly recomend this place for family and or yourself to go for a pet or pet food and items

Great selection of pets and accessories, the staff is kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. My favorite feature of this pet shop is the self-wash room for your four-legged friends it has professional grade pet cleaning equipment that customers can use for a small fee, and its a life saver for someone with big puppers.

Dora was out dogs groomer, and she did an excellent job. He sure looks great now, and came home with a smile and smells good too. Very professional staff and well stocked supplies. We will be back.

I get my two yorkies groomed here. The groomer (Michael) does a great job! They always look so cute and fresh after their groom.

They finally had meal worms for our chameleons. Very pleased with the speed of checkout.

Staff is very knowledgeable and will help you find what you are looking for. They carry a huge variety of pet food brands and products for all different types of animals. They have many different cages, birds and otherwise, they also have alot of different animals for sale. They also sale fish, fresh and salt water and have a nice selection. They also sale lizards, spiders, snakes and geckos and others like it. They also have a large supply of hamsters and mice. They also have rabbits, hedgehogs, ferrets, chinchillas and different types of birds and parrots! They have a Parrot who lives at the store and her name is Zeba and shes almost 20 years old I believe but shes been there since they opened. They also have a few pets from the animal shelter available for adoption and they can groom your animals here as well. They offer all kinds of pet supplies from food and treats to health and wellness as well as grooming supplies. They pretty much have it all! Prices are always good and not crazy over priced like some places. The kids and I love this place and recommend it to anyone!

I hadnt been to safari pets since I was much younger. It was still as good as I remember! All their animals looked fantastic. The enclosures were clean and not crowded. Same for fish tanks. The birds were gorgeous, and there was a very sweet cat that walked around. There is also a tortoise that walks the store! Workers are very nice and knowledgable. Also learned this store is owned by the people who own a pet store locally to me and that pet store is great! These people really love pets!

Awesome place, great people... But the customers ruined my experience. People had there dog inside chewing at a large turtle that was walking arounds shell, while the owners who looked strung out on drugs, had their dog tangled up around me, were not wearing masks, and the wife kept following me around trying to conversate and put her hand on my shoulder... Even after being told to please just leave us alone.

My cookies were treated like royalty!!! It was their first time with safari pets but it will definitely not be their last! 🤩 VERY satisfied!

My second (negative) review about the care of their small animals. no ventilation in their cages and it was sweltering hot in their shop today no fans, most were extremely lethargic and i even came across a DEAD rat that we had to let the cashier know of to take care of that was kept in the cage with the rest. i come here often to get food and toys for my own hamster/rats and it’s disappointing they don’t receive the same attention.

Just purchased 3 gerbils from them today. They are pretty relaxed for having just moved and overall the bravest/friendliest gerbils I’ve ever purchased from a store! Naturally they still need a little more taming but overall very sweet little critters. They are also young and seem healthy, and had been under observation for a few days (I called a few days and was told they wouldn’t be ready to be sold until today). The staff were friendly and attentive, taking their time to help me and being patient. It was a great experience, nice to feel that I supported a place that takes good care of their animals.

I love this place. Bowser the turtle is the cutest thing.They are always helpful and friendly here. They not only have the coolest reptiles. They also have traranchulas. And cool bugs. They have the coolest animals and a great selection of food/toys.

Went here for the first time and wow they have the best selection of pets ive seen in a long time. Small mammals, exotic birds, fish and reptiles galore. Lots of choices of products as well.

The cages they have for the smaller animals are waaaay too small.. hamsters need /at least/ 1800 sq in (some websites you’ll find even recommend more than that) of floor space and this does not reflect that. i just wish pet stores would up the ante, critter trails do not match the needs of an adult syrian hamster and that’s what i was offered/: the staff though is generally nice and i always pick up my food, extra toys, and treats here.

Got our english budgie from ms wilda in March went back in June to get a pineapple green cheek conure. Both are awesome birds and ms wilda is always helpful.

Fish died in only l day! They said the water wasnt up to what they wanted!Would not even consider replacing the fish or getting our money back.Charged too much for the fish anyway.Wont go back!The other fish we got the same day is doing fine!

Well kept and localized around the Cabot area. They have birds, mice, fish, and ect. A lot of options for your pet needs. Some items are priced to high but other than that, pretty wide selection.

I had bought a baby ball python from here and not but two weeks later it’s head swole up like a blue Barry so I took it up there and I made sure I took care of that snake the lady said it had died and wanted me to trade it in for a lizard ok no big deal he was my second option I was going to get so I was going to get my lizard some food after a couple weeks of having it (I fed it as recommended) and she goes did you see your snake back there. I’m livid they turned around and took it to their Conway store and sold it my snake didn’t die they need more experienced workers to determine if someone’s pet has died.

Very disappointed in this store this evening. My son has been saving for a year to buy a hedgehog. We drove almost an hour to get there and spent the time to pick out the one he liked best, just to get shot down by the owners demanding you must buy their cage. We already owned an exact cage and didn’t need another one. This store advertises customer service which is a total lie because they would rather lose a $350 sale than to lose an up sale of their other products. I will not be forced to buy something that I do not need. I will not support a business that treats people this way!I feel sorry for their friendly workers that have to break this news to people.

Safari Pets is awesome and the staff is so very knowledgeable and helpful.

Been going there for about 10 years now and always have been pleased with them. They are very good people and take care of their customers.They dont always have crickets when you need them due to so many buying from them so sometimes you have to get there when they get them in. I will continue to go there even living almost an hour away.

My daughter took her dog to be groomed. The groomer must have come from the competitive sheep shearing circuit. However he did the cut from memory with his eyes closed. We had an Australian shepherd that looked like a sheep. I would only recommend this place for grooming if you are in it for laughs.

Nice little store. The short haired brunette with glasses helped me and she was great. Picked out a cute fat hamster for my daughter and she was very knowledgeable and helped me with whatever I needed. They’re a bit more pricey but most independent shops are. And usually are worth it.
