Such a nice office! Cheri on the phone was an absolute sweetheart. They take my insurance, which is usually very limited as far as who can see us. They didn’t try to up-sell me on anything, and Kenzie who helped pick out glasses for myself and my son is funny and kind! Great experience. Highly recommend.

My experience was phenomenal from start to finish. Every single person you come in contact with is so friendly, helpful, and has a smile. I’ve need something to correct my vision for a long time and they helped me find the perfect pair. If I could give this office 10 stars I would. Best of all, I can see and have an awesome pair of glasses and contacts!

I have had countless eye exams at different offices. An endless amount of glasses and contacts. Advanced Optometry was hands down the best place I have ever been to get my exam. The staff were incredibly friendly. The office was beautiful and their selection is great!

I really like Advanced Optometry. The staff if very friendly and helpful. The wait time was more than reasonable. I didnt have my paperwork halfway filled out. They accept a wide variety of insurances and I have never had issues with billing.

They don’t just focus on the present problems they also look for any future issues you may have if they are predictable with testing that they have available on sight.They remain patient while working to the best of their abilities to answer as many questions as you have for them.I definitely recommend Advanced Optometry for your Eye Care.

Advanced Optometry is a big group of kind and caring people. I had an eye emergency around 7pm one night and I saw online that they were still open but closing soon. I called their office to see if they could squeeze me in the next morning and they told me I could come on over right now and they got me in right away, even though I was not an established patient. Dr. Amanda Johnston and the staff were all so friendly and took care of my issue immediately. I switched to this practice and I am so happy that I did. Thank you!

Uncle got glasses from the VA in the mail but he had to have them adjusted a lot as his neck had been broken and the lady came out to the waiting room and kneeled down so she could see what he would see.He was so thrilled to see better and so thankful for the kindnesses shown.He was a WW11 hero.We will never forget your kindness and respect.

Both of my boys have now been here. The environment is great. The ladies at the front counter are always friendly. Dr. Johnston has seen my boys and she is so patient with them and she talks to you and not at you. Its just a wonderful office in general!!! You guys rock!

Advanced Optometry is by far the best Optometrist I have been to during my years as a Salvation Army Officer. I have lived in several states and been to several different eye doctors. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Drs are knowledgeable and friendly. The technology used to give you the best care are top notch. I really like the the camera that takes a picture of the inside of your eye. This thing is really cool and makes it so the Dr can keep an accurate record of your eye health. What a great place. Every time I am in there, everyone is friendly and professional. I am always given the chance to make informed choices about what my insurance covers and what I am paying for for my glasses. My daughter recently broke her glasses, and they had a new pair for her in 4 days. Thanks to a long holiday weekend, she never had to go to school without them. They all take great care of my family.

What a wonderful experience. Everyone was very professional and fun. My husband and I both went and we actually enjoyed it. The girls made sure we got the best fit, were happy with the styles, and got as much as we could for our money.

I went in to have an eye exam and to order more contacts. All of the staff from the receptionists to the optometrists were very friendly and helpful. This all made for a pleasant experience.

I love the friendly atmosphere, as soon as I walk in, I see smiling faces, and teamwork, my appt was at 9:45 and i left there at 12pm due to the fact that the lovely technician Angie took her time and helped me pick out my 2 frames, I apologized for taking such a long time, and she just kept saying no problem, that was what she was there for, She is so friendly and caring and you can tell she throughly enjoys her job, The front staff are so happy and Dr. Johnston is amazing, I love this office.

I got my exam started right away with the testing that the technician could do, I only waited a few minutes for Dr. Johnston, and was helped right after to chose my new glasses. Glasses arrived in just over a week and when I came in to pick them up, I only waited approximately 5 minutes for the fitting.

My doctor in 2001 was Dr. Bellows, and when he retired I started seeing Dr. Amanda Johnson. She is extremely attentive to my needs for glaucoma treatment as well as my annual vision exam and eyeglasses. I have been pleased with the doctors and the staff.2018 UPDATE: Dr Johnson and the entire staff at Advanced Optometry continue to provide excellent care. I had cataract surgery at Cedar Run in Traverse City last fall, and Dr Johnson has provided my aftercare for the surgery! Love these folks at Advanced Optometrists!!

Fast and efficient! Were able to get to the bottom of what was causing my headaches and sore eyes. Explained things very clearly! Amazing variety of eye wear!! Got my glasses so quickly! Love them!

Been coming here for years, they are friendly and personable. They have a very advanced camera that photographs your eye for a full look of the inside of my eye, way better than dilation. Also a very nice collection of designer frames, I love my most recent Kate Spade ones!

This is a veteran owned business and the Doctor /owner and staff are very professional, courteous and caring. As a veteran myself, this Eye Doctor has worked with the VA to provide a service that I would otherwise have had to travel 2.5 hours to get. I highly recommend and appreciate the military bearing provides and service that this business provides. I was in yesterday and picked out frames but didnt love them. I called back today and talked with Pat. She was VERY helpful. She looked up and found my current frames in a different color. I am very grateful that she did what she could so that I would be happy with my glasses.

It was such a pleasant experience getting my eyes examined and the doctor took the time to answer all my questions. I never felt rushed.

This is my first visit without Dr. Meyer. Ashley did a fine job with the her part of the exam and was quite informative. I did also enjoy meeting Dr. Mc Donald for the first time and hope to work with him in the future.
