My 2012 Buick verano check engine light came on 2weeks after I purchased the car. And the AC isnt getting cold. And the brain (computer) needs to be replaced. I havent had the car 30 days and it was sold with $969 dollars worth of work that needs to be done. The general manager offered to take off $350. Not acceptable. The car needs to be fixed by the dealership, free of charge. The AC is still running HOT. Im not pleased with Hobson Chevrolet

Emily is amazing. She picked my truck in Camila and Justin do the service then returned my truck serviced and a full tank of gas. Yes she did fill my tank up. She also has my debit card. I blame my wife for Emily for that one but all good. When she dropped my truck off she also had washed inside and out. So I did not know that was my truck she returned. Great service.

I can not recommend the sales guy Coach.. The guy I dealt with (Coach) will not keep promises and will forget you after the deal is done. So if you do business with this guy please get everything in writing and or get everything up front before leaving.. Ive waited 11 months for a key and key fob that was promised by coach was on the way while I was there buying but then was told Ill just mail it to you... never got it and he said nope they dont have it.... Not at all trustful!!! The buying experience was good and the finance dealings was great, its just getting everything your suppose to in the end and the sales person not giving a darn about you after the deal is done. ..UPDATE.... I was contacted and my problem was completely resolved. The service department was very helpful and treated me very good, I would actually like to buy again here but use a different sales guy... great family business...

Service manager was new and didnt seem to know vehicle-specific questions about my Silverado and referred me to the sales staff, who were not even there yet. I bought my vehicle at this dealership and drove 30 miles to have it serviced so I feel I may have wasted my time driving all the way up there. Tires were rotated as part of the service, but when I got back into the vehicle and checked the dashboard display I noticed that the tire pressure was not even in all the tires. Seems like attention to detail is not important!

Bought a Chevrolet Cruze for my grandaughter from Hobson Chevrolet in Cairo, Ga.. Shortly thereafter it started causing problems. We made several trips from Tallahassee to get it corrected, to no avail. The car died out on I75 in the middle of Atlanta in five oclock traffic, in a middle lane. It was towed to a dealership there who sold us a battery. They were able to get it going. Then, before getting home, she stopped at the DQ in Cairo across from Hobsons, it died again. They pushed the car across the street to Hobsons lot, and we drove up to get them. terrible experience culminating with the final nightmare. We decided to get out of the car. It had some oil in the engine compartment which the man told my salesman friend that the engine was about to seize up. So they gave me $1500 hundred dollars for it in trade. It was simply an inexpensive pcv valve that had clogged. A terrible experienced for me and my granddaughter by a very bad dealership. She says she will never buy a General Motors product again. A true nightmare that no one should have to endure. All caused by a dealership that has technicians that need training, and management that doesnt care. Please take your business elsewhere and avoid the nightmare that I experienced. Want to add this after a phone call I received 2/12/21.I posted a review 3 days ago about a bad experience that we had when I purchased a Chevrolrt Cruze for my granddaughter from Hobson Chevrolet. Yesterday, Feb. 12, I receiced a very unpleasant phone call from a man that I presumed was in management. He was hostile, even went as far as to call me a liar. You would have thought that a representative from a good dealership would have been more interested in trying to find a way to correct the situation, instead of calling a customer a liar. I told him that I simply put into the review facts. Everything that I wrote can be verified by paperwork that I have maintained, and witnesses. But the worst part of the conversation was when he accused me of defaming a close friend of mine, who was the salesman who sold me the vehicle. My friend has since passed on. My mother and his mother were best friends, thats how long we’ve been friends. I’ve bought seven vehicles from him, five when he worked at a different dealership. Never had a problem with the first five I bought. Only the first one I bought when he started working with Hobson. He was a fine, upstanding Christian man, that I had a world of respect for. I didn’t say anything bad about him in the first review, and I won’t say anything bad about him now. I feel that the dealership could have done a better job of handling this situation. All dealerships are going to have a problem with a vehicle occasionally. It’s how they stand by their customers when it happens that counts. Hobson Chevrolet did a lousy job of taking care of my granddaughters problem, and just as lousy a job of handling this review.

Problem was analyzed and solutions were explained in detail and I was part of the team making decisions about my vehicle, I appreciated that. Problem was solved, I paid with a smile, and left with confidence that my chevrolet was the reliable transportation it had been before the sensor malfunction. I live about 3 hours away from Hobson in Santa Rosa County, FL, but they had the vehicle I was looking for at a heck of a price. We worked everything out over text and email, I drove up there and got back on the road in a hurry. Even factoring in the drive time, it took less time than my last car purchase did in town.They were able to get better financing than I could get using the lowest local credit union in my area, and handled the tax/tag/title flawlessly, too, which is not always best for out-of-state purchases. Next time I need to buy a car, Im just going to send Bubba Cox what Im looking for and wait for him to find it. Oh, and they gave me what I was looking for in my trade.They did a fair deal on the car, and thats the bottom line cause Adam said so.

It was a wonderful visit... the staff was very professional, courteous, and quick even though I didnt have an appointment. Fair pricing... The experience was the total of what I received in Tallahassee Florida. I left four messages with the service department 3 weeks ago and I still have not received a call back. Driving the extra distance to Hobson Chevrolet in Cairo, GA was so worth it to me and I believe I will continue to do the same thing in the future.

We arrived and the service rep was waiting to take our car in. He put on his Coronavirus mask and took our car in for service after asking us several questions and listening to our concerns. We walked the lot outside, even thought they assured us they had observed the CDC protocols. We havent been but very few places since this time last year. While walking the lot 4 sales personal checked on us to make sure we were okay since we were using our walking canes. We like the new Buicks and discussed them with the staff. They told us they would be getting a few Envisions in during the next week. So we went back and bought a brand new Buick Envision Avner. We will be returning for service on that too.This dealership and service department are extremely nice, low-pressure and accommodating with expertice. We wont go anywhere else. My husband has a tree service business,Hobsons has had his truck and said the took the transmission out and sent to GM to figure out what happened they have had his way of transportation our way of life our means of any income for a month. Saturday we learned they have lied. they dont even have the transmission out of the trruck.our family in need of transportation desperately We also are in need of the truth so we would still appreciate that Hobson .
Always had our service done here. All 3 cars purchased here. However, being quoted $1100 recently to replace an alternator in a 2012 Chevy Traverse stung. Big time. I understand how dealerships make their money. Plus they have a steady flow of cars under warranty having parts replaced so they don’t really have to work very hard to keep a stream of customers coming in. But really guys? $1100? I’ve run this math around and still can’t come to any sensible conclusion. Even with the high dollar salaries paid for the super trained mechanics from Chevy I can’t make it make sense. Needless to say I purchased a name brand alternator myself from a parts store and had it installed for $200 at a local mechanics shop. I mean I’m not a spring chicken and have owned many cars in my lifetime ..I know the cost of replacing a dang alternator. Ouch. Also...charges a $70 “diagnostic” fee. I didn’t need the problem diagnosed. We already knew it was the alternator...these trucks have enough bells and whistles it all but says out loud what the actual issue is. But tell that to the mechanic who thought it was just a bad battery (that had been replaced by them only 15 months prior). The guy that replaced it for me did say it was a time consuming job. Still ...only charges $200. Its a 2012...almost time to trade up. Too bad.
By far the easiest car buying experience weve ever had. We approached them with what we wanted and could afford, and there were no games played, just an honest effort to sell us the truck we wanted. Austin Hobson was fabulous to work with, and we look forward to a long lasting relationship with Hobson Chevrolet.

I went in for an oil change and for them to look at my car front bumper as I had ran into something. I also told Bob I did not want to turn it into my insurance so I wanted to try and pay out of pocket. Well, Danny Lee worked miracles on my bumper so I can drive my car for a while longer without replacing the bumper! Danny went way and above his call of duty to help me and I soooo appreciate that wonderful service and his great attitude!!! Bob Hobson has had stellar customer service every time I have taken my car into be serviced! His staff is very professional and always very accommodating! After we agreed on price, they added another year to me.i didnt read fine print. When I went back the next morning and confronted him he said it would be ok. Screwed me big time. I would not buy from them if it were the last place on earth
I have a older Chevy 2500hd. I can in few days ago to check out why my check engine light came on. Doug and barley (his name I might be misspelling it) took care of me and got with Mike the service manager to check it out. Kyle the tech checked and fix what was wrong. The service I got was the best . Then day after I had a different problem Mike the service manager fixed me right up. Awesome service and I will make sure I come back when I have a issue. Thanks again for the service guys.
The services was done is a timely manner and my appointment was set up on a Saturday morning so I did not have to miss work.
I’ve yet to find anything bad to say about this place. Good honest folks. Well worth the short drive from Tallahassee...because you can’t get that here (at least not from either of the Dale Jr snake-pits).
