Wow - what a great place! My wife and I stopped in for breakfast today based on some recommendations. This is a fantastic family place for a weekend meal! So many happy people enjoying themselves. I had a great chicken fried steak (the steak was very good) and my wife had the omelet with bacon & spinach. She loved her potatoes. The marble rye bread was very good also. I highly recommend this place for a great breakfast/lunch. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful.
Fun little place to visit. Breakfast was good. Wasnt the best breakfast weve ever had, but wasnt the worst either. The staff was incredibly nice. Seemed a little run down on the outside, but it is the end of summer. The drive and countryside out there is beautiful and that alone was worth the trip. Fun gift shop (that youre essentially sitting in) and the bakery and gift items fit perfectly with the setting
Great food and atmosphere. Well kept. Clean bathrooms. Homemade candy. Wine available. Interesting merchandise for sale. Only real improvement would be open for dinner.
The Orchard House is always good. We had our usual lunch, shared, and left sated as always. Definitely worth the short drive.
Loved this location for its small home town like feel. You can eat a nice breakfast or lunch and try some local wines. The bakery looks great next time will hit that up. Oh also they have the coolest paintings and signs for sale. You can just pull it off the wall and purchase on your way out.
This was a fun restaurant to visit. I am celiac. I like that they have gluten free bread and buns. Most items can be replaced or eaten safely. The staff are kind and knowledgeable. The patio is my favorite. There is ample parking. Great gem in Idaho to visit. Lots of great local procured food, beverages and flavors like huckleberry.
Wow, cant believe we havent heard about this place. We were just driving by and thought we would try it out for lunch. The food was awesome, the servers were delightful and the atmosphere was fun. The prices were a bit higher but not bad. This will become our special lunch place for sure.
Fabulous food; they actually use prime rim for the prime rib sandwich, not sliced roast beef! Great prices as well. The staff were wonderful, it was super busy and the food came quickly and we were well taken care of
Obsessed! Fresh local foods and cooked fresh. I have been for breakfast and lunch and tried some Desserts and everything is so good. The coffee is so so so good. Must try, but not too many of you. Lol
Im always pleased with Orchard House! You guys are doing a great job!!
We absolutely LOVE their delicious homemade pies!! Their nostalgic little store is fun to browse and they also have yummy candy and homemade fudge.
Yummy food, lovely cafe and homey decor available to purchase. Great place to eat before a winery tour or drive along the Snake river.
DeliciousPrime rib sandwich!Grilled cheese w/ ham and tomato!Soooo....YummyGreat personable service always with a smile🙂
Excellent service and food. Had lunch there one day. Went back 2 days later and had breakfast. Everything was delicious.
The menu always tests the palate to try something new and its so hard because you want your previous favorites! I have never had a bad meal here from breakfast to dinner items and the desserts are a whole different conversation on amazing! Highly recommend!
I enjoyed the food. I had some finger steaks and fries added with a key lime pie. Parents had some surf and turf - prawns and a 8oz steak and Clam Chower and Salad. Soup was thick, chunky, decent cup size. Pawn breeding was great, steak was smaller strip, seasoned lightly. Finger steaks batter was good, strips of meat were a little extra chew in some smaller pieces. Service was great, definitely try to come early as there is usually a wait.
All farm fresh ingredients which makes everything taste so much better. The omelets here are amazing!!
I like this place, the food is great and the service is pretty good. The drag is they are no longer open for dinner and their limited hours make it very difficult to visit this restaurant. It was always someplace I took friends visiting from out of town for dinner.
Always, always good food and service. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed.
A cute, fun, little place to stop and grab a bite to eat before an afternoon of wine tasting. I have been here a handful of times before but after yesterday’s experience I’ll be hesitant to return. We arrived around 11:30, got our name on the list and was told to wait outside and they’d call our provided phone number in about 10 to 15 minutes. They needed to clear a couple tables. After waiting close to 45 minutes we went back inside to check how much longer it would be. The hostess was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional waving her arm to show us the dining area while huffing at us that they are busy right now and they’d get to us. We tried to explain our situation to her calmly and quietly yet she continued to be rude. We then asked to see where we were on the list only to find out our name had been crossed off by mistake. Instead of a sincere apology she continued to be rude and act as if we were inconveniencing her. It wasn’t just us she was rude and unprofessional to. It was just about every customer she spoke to. Hopefully this lady was just having a bad day and the Orchard House doesn’t condone this type of service for their customers!
If you havent visited this place be sure the food was 10 stars delicious. Our waitresse was top notch nice!! We will be back soon.
Fun place. Good food. Sad they are not open for dinner
We had lunch at one of Idahos fabulous locally owned County Restaurants. Amanda was a wonderful server and our food was delicious. Fried Zucchini and Finger Steaks are two of our favorites! They have everything you could possibly want! Local Wine, Beer, Desserts, Coffee, and Fresh Fudge just to name a few. Patio dining available and besure to look at their unique gift section.
Love this place; a great place for lunch when visiting the wineries in this area or just traveling through!
My hubs and I love getting breakfast or even lunch here.
Amazing food and great customer service. Love this small charm. Definitely will be back.
Great customer service, friendly staff, good food. Fudge and nostalgic candy at the entry counter. Nice outside seating, walkway from the parking area to the restaurant is nice, has a nice water feature.
This has been a go to when we have family from out of town. Until today, the last two times (in the last month) have been a less then enjoyable experience. The Waitress today just confirmed that this place isnt my families go to any longer.
Great hamburgers and pie! Beautiful variety of home baked desserts, pies and fudge.
Love this place for so many reasons - Great food, great atmosphere and great people!
Ok, this place is one of my top places Ive ever been to, in terms of shock value and how damn tasty the food was. We came here from Ste Chapelles Winery (See my review for that place, its fantastic), and I literally missed this place on the road the 1st time. Its tucked away next to a small gas station, and honestly I didnt even see it at first. Its kind of small, and initial impressions from the outside were so-so.Once inside, you notice how unique and cozy the whole vibe is in there. Lots of dope decorations, medium sized dining area (very clean), and some cool gifts at the gift shop. Shock value is increasing, Im liking the place more and more. The female waitress was very friendly and bubbly. Now to the best part (and probably why youre going to be coming here), the food! 1 word? DAMN! Everything we ordered came out so damn good, I was shocked. If youre coming here, you MUST get the Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms, trust me on this one. Little pricey, but they were so good and presentation was very nice. My party ordered Fish & Chips, Seared Salmon Salad, and Farmboy Burger. Everything was so tasty and fresh, I was surprised how this little restaurant can produce such amazing food, seriously... Im STRAVING now looking at the photos I took of the food there. My suggestion is to go to Ste Chapelles Winery thats close by, have some drinks outside in the fresh air to get the appetite growing, and then come straight here, and go beast mode...This place is 5 stars EASSSSY....Trust me on this one
Service was slow but friendly. I believe they were short handed in the kitchen. These things happen. The food was good and decent portions.
Had breakfast and dessert here so far and both were pretty great! The breakfast burritos didnt have as much flavor as I hoped, but the desserts are to die for.
This is a classic cafe that supports a wonderful neighborhood. They provide top quality food and welcoming atmosphere. They care about local matters while making every effort to provide excellent service to new comers. Thanks for all you do!
Good food, great customer service, and priced to match
This place is awesome! Homemade and relaxing. I feel at home here
Fantastic food, service & view! Gorgeous little restaurant, the veggie sandwich was yummy! Pie was amazing! Will continue to visit
Great tasting food but you cant even get a little more ajous sauce for your French Dip sandwich. Waitress claimed that chef cooks a measured amount for EACH ORDER! REALLY??
Food & service was good! Cute country style decor!
Excellent, excellent, excellent! Everyone should make it a point to eat there at least once. Wonderful place, atmosphere, and food.
Probably the best breakfast in the Valley. Great food and very fair prices, highly RECOMMENDED.
Great food and the people were great. I will go there again if Im in the area.
Very good food and great deserts.
Never disappointed, had 3 meat omelet and salad . Dang keto. Watching everyone else enjoying their tasty country fries was brutal
This place is pretty good, a little on the spendy side, but worth it. really good gravy, excellent coffee. Their habanero mango buffalo wings are awesome. Ill go back, but not on a regular basis due to prices.
Excellent food. Seating outside is like being in a secret garden. Friendly staff. Lots of different things to look at and purchase. Then to top it off, they have pie!!! Also a variety of other baked goods and fudge. Recommend it.
Very good food and friendly, capable staff. Loved the atmosphere!
Waitress was lovely, food was iffy, after we had barley finished eating the owner came over and told us to leave because people were waiting, not going back. Dont recommend.
Super nice serving staff, and solid, standard, comfort food menu. Great selection of wine-centric gift items too.
This is the cutest, friendliest, sweetest little cafe Ive ever visited. The outside ambiance alone is worth the visit. Add in the delicious food (we ate breakfast and everything was high quality and flavorful, and expertly cooked), add the staffs friendly, welcoming demeanor, and youve got a recipe for a fantastic restaurant! If you like biscuits and gravy, try it here. And their Swedish pancakes... Amazing!! Thank you, Orchard House! Great service and food! Next time we travel through ID, well definitely come back.
I love this little cozy place. Lots of different things to look at and purchase. The food is absolutely amazing!! Everything is made to order and made from scratch. Then to top it off, they have pie!!! Also a variety of other baked goods and fudge.
Delicious food with generous portions. Fantastic wait staff.
Great food, great staff, fun location.
Love the atmosphere at this countryRestaurant. If you like crispy potatoes with the skin on order the breakfast potatoes.
Best place to go on the sunny slope!
Amazing. Best breakfast I have had ina long time and the cinnamon rolled was to good for words to describe.
I absolutely love this place. I just recently moved up here from Texas and it reminds me of back home. And our two service girls were awesome.
Really good food, one of the best restaurants in the valley! The service was fantastic too. You will have to wait to be seated for a while of course but its worth it!
Very good food, we were going there for a breakfast meal,,too late breakfast ends at 11:00am. Still a good friendly place to take a break.
Great food and service! Thank you! :)
Very outstanding. I was impressed
The most amazing and special place! Great food, even better atmosphere and the most friendly service you will ever have.
The food was ok. My breakfast was a little greesy and the service was slow
A favorite for the area. We travel from Eagle to eat there.
Best quesadillas Ive ever had. Added onion....they were amazing!!!
Their homemade pie is so very good!
Good food, friendly service, parking is a challenge and confusing.
Love the Orchard House😀 Good food, country decorations & staff are friendly, helpful & fast. Yummy desserts too.
I am assuming that its a five star because it was packed on a Monday at 1:30 pm. Couldnt wait 30 just to get a table.
We went there on St Patricks Day because my husband has to have their lamb stew! I love their food and their pies, cookies, and fudge are worth the trip alone! I decided to try their shrimp fettucini. I got a big beautiful bowl of pasta with perfectly cooked shrimp. If you havent gone to the Orchard House and feel like taking a drive they also have a beautiful trail right next door with little water features and statues as well as beautiful peacocks! Its a bit of a walk around the trail but its paved and lots of photo ops! Take some time out of your day to have the Orchard House experience!
VERY friendly and attentive staff, reasonable prices, and a great patio setting. The mango habanero boneless wings were awesome and actually spicy (I find that to not usually be the case at most restaurants so I was very happy about that). My man ordered a chicken Caesar salad and it could have used a little something to set it apart. It was lettuce, dressing, and chicken. Croutons or bread could have amped it up a bit to give it a little more color but he enjoyed it. Portions were great and we will definitely be returning.
We went here specifically because someone had posted a review saying they felt safe. Since different people have different ideas of what safe is, so for people like is who are looking for safe dining options during the pandemic, I felt it necessary to share why we did not feel safe here. No one was wearing masks. And as our food was brought to us, uncovered, our waiters chatted (unmasked) while handing us the food. We were lucky enough to get a seat outside, but we noticed the inside seats were pretty close in together with no protective shields between parties. Everyone was nice enough, and the food was delicious. We’ll have to come back to try their fudge. But we won’t be coming back to dine until after the pandemic is over.
Heard so much about Orchard House I couldn’t wait to try it. Can I tell you, they exceeded my expectations! The food was amazing, the service was above and beyond and the atmosphere is so cute and comfortable. I highly recommend and will return soon. If you’re on the fence, GO NOW!
The Orchard House is the first place the comes to mind when I think Idaho cuisine. Its good home cooking with high quality surf and turf options, burgers, sandwiches, salads, good beer and wine selection, great deserts and coffee! One of the best values in the Treasure Valley.
Amazing food and wonderful service. Highly enjoyed. The gift shop was super cute.
As always great food great coffee and great people! Always a number one choice
Wonderful food, great prices and the beignets are a must try.
Great food and great service.
A quaint little restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff.
