Love me some Home Depot. I recommend them to people all the time. Great place for Women to shop and build their dream house, they have all the equipments you need, power tools, drills, nails, drywall,Ladies have fun building.

Help non-existent at this location, but when you do find someone they either know nothing, act busy, or give you that your bothering me look. Check-out not much better. Need help getting heavy material to your vehicle?.. bring a friend, cause no one here will even ask. The paint dept. Is good... and thats about it. O...and they are selective on whom they greet. Surprised this place hasnt shut down like the other places in the area have...and one wonders why that is...NOT.

Bad, no real customer service. Employees sitting around in back gossiping and staring at customers trying to find products. Heaven help if you ask questions all you get is wide eyes I dont Know, go to Customer Service. After waiting in line for CS you get ask helper in that dept. So discussed, I asked a customer who knew his way around.MENARDS, ACE HARDWARE here I come.

I went there to get the of rest of my order Mrs. Lopez took very good care of me. My contractor realized that we didnt have all the pieces to the order. Not a problem she looked it up their it was we didnt have a problem she went and a little Trainor and the rest of the order we all loaded and checked out. Thanks Home Depot!

I love coming to this store in particular because theyre always helpful and nice. I asked for help in the Schererville store, but I was asked if I needed help in the Lansing store, and unlike the Schererville store, Lansing didnt point to the isle. They took me to what I came for.

Mr Carlos was very helpful. Doing a dyi flooring. He helped me get everything and explained how to use it. He was very professional and friendly. Kudos Mr Carlos!!!

We went to Home Depot looking for two doors for our home..A worker named Sam,was so polite,and explained every little detail,to my husband and I..He even made us laugh,and let us know that there will be a home depot professional to come over and properly measure our doors. If every store could have somebody like this young man life would be so much easier and people would come out of the stores with smiles and say you know what go to the Home Depot in Calumet City on Torrence Avenue, and speak to the guy named Sam by The Doors.Hell tell you just the way it is..Great person who does his job...Thank you for having such a wonderful person working there.We lefted with a smile..☺️

I do not like the store because as I was getting the paint he quoted the price for the paint once we got to the register was $11 higher and the customer service in the service desk was not good Escuela at the paint department I changed it to what store

Maria If I’m not mistaken at the paint desk was superior. Acknowledge me right away without hesitation. Now the gentlemen next to her Chris from Behr was a great help. Never met two young individuals who were both so knowledgeable among paint. They both tagged team the customer service and my paint needs. They were both professional and very quick ! This Home Depot in general had tremendously improved overall.

We went in to order doors. The entire process took over 3 hours, which was WAY longer than wed anticipated. The salesman was helpful but slow.

I ordered $1800.00 carpet. Paid for it and the carpet hasnt been installed yet. 3 times I have been promised installation and 3 times I have been disappointed. DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU CAN TAKE YOUR PURCHASES WITH YOU. NEVER SHOP HERE AGAUN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Now to cancel my purschase I have to pay a restocking fee. This company is unbelievable.

At this location the sales associate Mrs. Faye was amazing. Not only was the advice given exceptional, she gave printouts, recommendations and adequate delivery instructions. I cant wait until I can make this purchase and hats off to the home depot team for her presence..

Home depot, was nice found some beautiful plants for my landscape

At the PRO desk at check out time I was totally ignored. (Twice now since I wrote this Ive been totally ignored, I asked her why she ignored me, she said Im not aloud to help you if you are standing their Im not kidding thats what she said). Sure thay rang up all my stuff and I paid them $250+, but the manager and the gal ringing me up were having a conversation across the check out lanes, about buying something at this store, then getting it at another store....I think in Florada . The cashier was also talking to her mother that stopped on in for a visit. The mother and daughter talked about how Popeyes Chicken left a sour feeling in the stomach. Lame lame and more lame. The store was not busy at the time I was here. Their were 5 employees hanging around the contractor check out area. They dont need to roll out a red carpet but one person could of acknowledged that a customer was present. The store was also completely out of a few fairly basic electric supplies.

Home Depot really need to step up their customer service game. It takes way too long to get help in most departments and in a lot of cases, once the person does come, they really dont know how to help. They need to pay better and get more skilled people in there.

This place doesnt deserve any stars. Nobody offered to help i went to the desk to have them send someone to help and nobody showed up. One person had ear buds in so he didnt hear the page. Then 3 guys went by the isle I was in and looked right at me and ignored me. Then another lady up front that works the register she saw me and didnt offer to help. She was even walking around. That is the most horrible experience I ever had in a home depot.

Customer service as well as lack of product something for mgmt to look into. Go to Menards just across state line in IN, huge selection and staff that actually know their job.

Helpful young man was right where I needed him to be. Picked up boric acid for bugs outside and inside!

Not a bad little spot to get tool and other things for projects. Might need to ask a staff member for help as things tend to be not where you expect.

Asked an associate if he knew a particular item was, he directed me to another associate. Staff offers assistance in finding items. A Home Depotassociate, young lady, let me help you next thing I knew she was scanning, bagging, finished gave the biggest smile, and told me to have a nice rest of my day.

You can never find help here all the associates are busy talking amongst themselves. Or just point you in the wrong area. You have to use the store app to find anything. And most things are not at this location.

They were fully stocked on their Merchandice for the most part. They cut lumber to the size that I needed right away I was in-and-out of the store with no problem got great service from everybody. And all employees were wearing masks. You have to Also wear a mask to Shop during the cove and 19.

Basic Home Depot. Things need to stop gearing towards online shopping. Homeowners need items right then when something goes wrong in your home. Who can wait on delivery. Things need to go back to how hey used to be.

5 star always. Especially for the ridgid lifetime warranty tools.

Went to get a lawn mower and they were enforcing the social Distancing standards. They also have a hand sanitizer and cleaning station. I didnt know where the aisle was for the lawn mowers so I asked an employee. She was very nice and pleasant. She gave me instructions on where to go. I followed the instructions and found the mowers.When I went to checkout I asked if they offered a military discount they did and then left. I went super early in the morning and it wasnt busy so I was able to grab what I needed quickly and leave.

Good parking, recently theyre stocking excellent garden and decorative plants. Fast checkout with safety spacing and cleaning constantly. Always fully stocked, with extensive variety of tool designs. Contractors seem to be their focus, but employees do nottalk down to the civilian.

Pleasant as usual staff knew most of where things were what I was looking for was the oddball and out of place but the next staff member knew exactly where

Terrible experience here. Employees are completely ignorant here. None of them know what theyre doing or talking about. Some even avoid you if they see you coming towards them. Hard to find items, and not very clean here either.

The new flow of directions in the store was good. I had to wait outside in line for a few minutes. Had on mask and gloves, some still dont have on mask/gloves but were not denied entrance. The paper towel and toilet paper stock was low. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The overall customer service at this location has gone downhill. Its always hard to find a orange vest to assist you. On my last two visitss, one of which was today. I needed help and after finding an associate, they needed to call for someone to come the department I was in, as they werent covering the area I needed help in. On each visit no associate ever came to help. This is my last time shopping this store. I will venture out to Menards or Lowes, maybe their customer service will be better.

Service was extremely slow. For an Order said to be ready, it took almost an hour. I stood opposite the Pick Up counter for close to 30 mins when I said I could not stand any longer and returned to my car where I WAITED almost another 30 mins while they hunted for it. For some reason the items were still either in the truck, at the dock or misplaced. That was the only bad part..

I purchased a washer/ dryer set a couple weeks ago online at Home Depot. Over $4000 with delivery/ hookup order. Rushed to give my existing set away as to clear the room for Oct 6th delivery. Long story short, they never came. Apologized and promised delivery Oct 12th which is today. Called them this morning to get their ETA and guess what. Nope theyre not coming. I was given the run around onthe phone for more than two hours. Ive has the entire contents of my laundry room in my dining room for two weeks and have my original set away. I am beyond angry. I will NEVER USE HOME DEPOT AGAIN.

They have a good return policy and a very helpful customer service desk.
