Do yourself a favor and do not call this place. JR took on my project, put one of his guys (Angel) on the job and said he would oversee the work. The guy did no work on it complaining he couldnt access the shop, JR kicked him out of his shop, and basically wiped his hands of it saying i didnt accept any money from you so take it up with him. While that is true, he was the person i initially contacted at this number who gave the job to one of his guys to complete the work out of HIS shop. The hundred cars in the parking lot shouldve been a red flag. Just taking on jobs to pay for other late jobs. Take on a job, do work, get paid. Simple method, hard to execute apparently.

Horrible horrible shop I simply wanted the inside of my truck painted and owner keeps giving excuses on why it’s not done I would never recommend any one here. Everyone there is very unprofessional and if you can’t get it done by when you say then just let me know don’t give me a bs excuse and as soon as I get my car back best believe I’m never going here again complete and udder bs from the owner. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Brought my car here to get the front repaired. Promised to be done in about 4 weeks. I didn’t get my car back until around 3-4 months. And I was overpriced for a terrible job. I can still see the swirl marks on the paint from where they sanded, and the headlights were never put on correctly. Don’t come here the owner is unprofessional and will continuously ask you for more “cheese” in order to finish your car. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Terrible business! Just complete trash. Took my car here to get some work done. Id call to get updates on my car as I left it there. The owner would only make excuses as to why its taking so long. Id drive by at random times and see my car parked in the exact same spot where he had me park it. Car wasnt even touched, the tires were still facing the same way I left them. Then finally he called me about 2 weeks later saying he was about to start on my car but needs some extra cheese to start my car after I had already gave him about 1 thousand up front. Called me 4 separate times asking for some more money before he can even do anything to my car. All I wanted him to do was replace the rear bumper of my Evo for an aftermarket bumper and replace the side skirts for aftermarket ones. He ended up throwing away my old side skirts after I said I wanted to keep them to resell them. The day finally came for me to go pick up my ride that took a little more than a month to get done!! Other shops gave me time estimates of 2 weeks tops. JR first said 10 days which turned out to be 5 weeks. When I picked up my car I noticed the front bumper had damage to it and paint was chipped off about the size of a quarter. I made him repaint my front bumper with no charge to me of course. At first he tried saying that my front bumper was already like that! HA!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS!

If you are looking for a body shop in the Ventura area, stop looking and go to J R Customs. Fast, impeccable work with incredible pricing. They work on new or old cars. (The parking lot is filled with cool old cars they restore). Junior has people come from San Francisco all the way down to San Diego drive for their work. Even the body shops around J R Customs recommend them!! That says A LOT to me. I cant say enough great things about this body shop. They do clear ciat protective sealants, as well. Im beyond thrilled I was directed toward them.Seriously, do you and your vehicle a favor and go to J R Customs!

I usually never share any reviews but this Body Shop did such exceptional work That I feel I owe it to them, I took My High end sports car to this place expecting average service & work, they really did great work & were very courteous for a body shop, the best part is I did not have to deal with lot of hassle & traffic to drop the car or pick it up because they are in a great remote area .Thank you for your great work I know these car can be hard to match colors but you did an exceptional job...........

If I could give zero stars I would! Very lack of commitment. He promise to have my car ready within a few months and itll be a year in 01/2019! The owner is very unprofessional and keeps giving excuses. DO NOT take your vehicle here if you need it right away.

Nicely repaired bodywork...a little slower than promised.......

Promised to have the job done in 3 weeks. 7 weeks later and the car was not completed. Had to take car to a different shop and pay out of pocket yo finish the job that insurance had payed him for. Horrible shop. No business ethics. Owner would want to fight you if you told him to hurry and get your car done. Intimidating with statement like “We are gonna have problems Hommie.” Everytine you give him ultimatums to finish your vehicle.. Completely unprofessional.
