Shopping at this target feels like Shopping at Walmart. The lines are always long, theres never more than 3 cashiers (only one this trip). The isles are always dirty. Looks like Black Friday everyday.However, the customer service is always great. Not sure where the disconnect is, probably a management issue. Or covid🤷🏽‍♂️

Target is worth the trip. Clean, well stocked, friendly staff. I end up shopping for groceries here just as much as I shop for general merchandise. Overall, a very excellent location.

This target has gotten very busy within the last couple of years.Not that big of a deal but I just avoid it... I do not really enjoy compared to other targets in other cities such as San Francisco or Simi Valley... O_O Ok but otherwise five stars.. LOL

Targets have always been reliable, clean, well stocked, affordable stores to stop and shop at; and no matter if Im home in the Bay Area or traveling to Southern California (like in Camarillo or in San Diego), the high quality of each store remains the same to shop or recharge at.

The employees make or break the experience, and this Target has exceptional employees. Thank you to the helpers at the exchange/return desk; My return item and receipt numbers didnt match for some reason(accurate item,) but I was eventually able to return it after a while with help.

2 and a half stars aren’t available for this rating but I’ll give them a 3 because we love target, but hate this store as of lately at least, feel like they just hire anyone now a days and it shows, for the exception of I wanna say 8-10 amazing employees the rest are obviously untrained in talking to the customer or anyone for that matter and this is I hope their first job, YES I DO NEED A BAG FOR MY LAST 20 items, think!

Most recent visit to the Camarillo Target will be the last time go in there. Used the drive up service. Was brought the wrong item and was treated very poorly trying to get the correct item, resulting them not having it in stock. The very unpleasant employee offered a refund and then said she could not because it wasnt showing in their system yet, I said well just cancel it, she said she couldnt because its not in the system (contradicting what she had just said) She finally punched in some numbers gave me cash minus the tax and slammed it on the counter and walked away. I didnt need that, no one does. Avoid these people Target in Oxnard or Newbury Park are better options

The lines here are CRAZY long, the cashiers are pretty slow there for causing major traffic in their lines plus self checkout.Staff is never willing to help and I know a few extremely rude workers there. Ill go because its the only one near me but only if needed. The prices seem to be going up.

They are always helpful at Target. Today I was at self check and Carlos helped me out when there wasnt a hand scanner and I was using a gift certificate. He was so patient and nice.

Target of Camarillo is the store Where I always find gifts for everyone! A Starbucks, clean restrooms and a very nice lady at the self-cashier !

I usually go to target for almost anything so I recommend it to family and friends for saved money. I recommend you go to target to save your money.

The store has many good products.

At the entrance, there werent any carts & hand baskets. Rather than wait like every other customer, I made use of a planter decoration for a basket. Electronics dept. couldve used another associate to balance the sales & attentiveness to customers.

I forgot my mask at home. I called them to see if they had mask available to sell. My friend came in here and got a mask for me! Awesome customer service experience!

Target is fine. The pick-up service is slow and unpredicatable.

The cashier was very friendly and wished me happy holidays. This is important because I felt she took the time to wish me a good day, when she easily couldve rushed me through the check-out process due to the holiday rush.

They have empty shelves all the time, it doesnt matter when you get there or what day. The Ventura locations are always fresh and stocked.Merchandising is disjointed and lacks a logical flow. Kids masks in kids section? NO theyre up in the womens section! Kids PJs? Sure if you live in Alaska! Ask for assistance? Forget it.This was a much, much better store before 5 or 6 years ago.

They are very reliable

Box damaged and busted up. Spent 300 dollars and drove over an hour of driving time for a product with 7 available but yet got the most damaged box. Almost 18 employees standing in the front and yet couldn’t even get it swapped out.Will call store tomorrow for a manager before I go out my way to make this known to the whole public how something so simple is so heartbreaking. The gift is for a 4 year old little girl, have some passion to want to help people other than yourselves.

This is a much better Target then the other one up the 101 north..first of all im not having to go upstairs to get there and second the wait in line is a bit more efficient

Horrible experience attacked at the door with people trying to get signatures without masks. They got in our face without masks and would not back up. i feel very unsafe and will not go back to that horrible store again. I did call the security and the police to report this incident. Both apologized and said they reported it to corporate and the police also but it just continues. it really should be a negative star instead of one but i couldnt post otherwise.

Its so much better than K Mart or Wal-Mart. But what makes this place so great is the staff. Ive had so many pleasant encounters here and never a bad one.

I called 5 times today and the phone just rang and rang. Tried different departments and let the phone ring at least 2 minutes each time and was hung up on each time. Are you seriously telling me nobody in any department at Target Camarillo can answer a phone call? Not a single employee was available? Not even to put me on hold, just hung up on 5 times by different departments.

I love Target. My store is Camarillo CA. The stores are always immaculate and the people are typically super nice and interactive. Patricia or Patty, the cashier...should not deal with customers TBH. Ive had 2 experiences now where she doesnt say hello or engage AT ALL.

Great and polite employees

Clean store, plenty of room in aisles. I like the openness/feeling of the store. Wipes were available if you needed to wipe cart. Carts were being sanitized. Hand sanitizer available at check out. Reminders throughout the store to keep you distancing.

The “recall newsom republicans” outside in the parking lot, really make me uneasy spending my money inside in target.Beware of the white old man yelling like crazies.

I shop mainly online, but some items need shipping. more then once didi i have to come to this store (about 25 miles away) because they are able to fulfill the order. They seem o be stoked up on items the other location arent. Excellent work!

I didnt appreciate the guy at the self checkout tonight who acted like I was stealing something and came over twice to pretend wipe the counter while Im checking out and not social distancing in store. Caused me to charge the wrong card cause I was frustrated that he kept coming over even after I told him Im paying separately for an item, although I shouldnt have needed to state that. Visit would get 0 stars if possible, stop hiring random people for the holidays. That guy was profiling racially.

It was so easy to order it online and to pick it up in the store. The employees were on point and I appreciate there hospitality and friendliness while being so busy during this holiday season

Decent collection. clean store ok layout however. I was about to get some Starbucks there with my friends and we didnt because we saw the girl not wearing the mask properly and how is that fair we are expected to yet this shame on this location .it was the blonde cashier working Saturday morning. I wont be getting coffee there .she clearly needs to be retrained . Its a fuzzy pic but you can clearly see its pulled down to her chin her nose and mouth were exposed .defeats the purpose of the mask !

Horrible customer service.

Target is a clean well-lighted place with everything you need at a reasonable cost. Plus, this trip two days after Halloween was exceptional. I asked Jazmin about a possible donation of clearances Halloween costumes to my Kindergarten classroom. She sent me to Ron who personally paid for two costumes for my class. He actually offered a couple more (but it was late and I didnt want him to spend more). Ron had already been kind and friendly to me earlier this trip. He and Jazmin were exemplary community members tonight!

It looks like every other Target. It has always been cleaned and organized when I been there. Lots of parking space. Is organized in the same way as every Target I been to; that makes it easy to find stuff. People are always helpful and nice. They have snacks in the little cafe as you walk in. Definitely recommend.

The target was unlike any other target Ive seen before! very very clean on the outside and the inside was very fancy, i was immediately impressed it was not like the other generic target layouts. the layout out of departments was organized and very detailed, made for an easy and pleasant shopping experience.

The selection Target offers and the prices. I will often go to this Target over the ones in Ventura and the one in Oxnard because the selection is much wider. The service is great too! All the staff members are very positive and helpful.

The friendly cashier Lysa who was in great spirits and enjoyed her job despite the lines getting longer. She had a great way of making the customer feeling welcomed and at the same time being prompt.

My cashier was AMAZING and so helpful and friendly.

They are currently remodeling but the store is open. Doing a pretty good job of keeping things clean and organized. This target is a madhouse on the weekends and I will only go here early in the morning or late at night to avoid the crowds. Plus that way you can see some interesting people while shopping. #tweakers

A little confusing after re-organizing the store . We like it better than its competiTor store. One of the problem is that it doesnt accept Apple Pay or Android Pay, but I was told I could place an order online. We did that but then we were told we needed to wait for another department to process the order. At the end we ended pay cash which is not what we wanted to do since we were trying to put it in our business expense

I went into Target looking for 2 birthday gifts. One for a 23 year old young man and one for a baby turning one. I found the chosen items fairly quickly, and they were at a cost I could live with. Both recipients liked my purchases.

The Camarillo store is clean, bright, and has great merchandise. I wouldve given it a 10 but the frozen food situation is a pain while they remodel. Still my favorite Target store in the LA/Ventura Co area.

I lived in Oxnard back in the day. So i would always come here to shop. Love it and employees are wise. Also fully stocked and clean

Drive up is 2 hours wait. Pick up is 2 hours wait. The difference is 3 hours wait and then closing time. I got my dogs food at Walmart which is next door to target. In and out quickly. I will have too wait tomorrow morning while at work it’s finally ready. Never had a problem with online orders at the Thousand Oaks Target. It’s always ready within 30 minutes drive up or pick up. The hammer I order for Christmas never showed up and it was ordered from Camarillo Target. It’s backed ordered. After Christmas same story. I canceled and went to Home Depot. No refund for that. Guess what Home Depot is two stores down. I guess I ready don’t need to shop at Target. Was told when I went to drive up that I was to quick and made them look bad. Walmart shopper going forward.

After months going through an extensive renovation, this location is aesthetically beautiful. The departments have been redesigned and reconfigured, particularly in the clothing departments. The switch seems to be intended for you spend more time shopping in the various little shops that are now more defined and grouped by collections. I preferred the former layout so I can beeline to what I need and checkout. Now I have to spend 30 minutes looking for a basic t-shirt. Fitting rooms are left unattended and messy. Furthermore its now more difficult to visually locate a team member for assistance so youre pretty much on your own. Good luck.

My go to store for almost everything. During the holidays it gets extremely hectic to shop so I love thr online order and pick up. Its smooth, quick, and hassel free! Love Target

This is my place of peace! Love! The staff is wonderful! However, the remodel/ renovation makes me a little uncomfortable, and that breaks my heart!

I ordered on line for 2 hour pick up because I was in a hurry and when I went to the store 3 hours later my order still wasnt ready. I had to go find what I needed and wait in the holiday lines which made me late. It has now been 5 hours and my order is still not ready! I am extremely disappointed.

Product selection is the most important reason I shop at Target. They are my usual go-to since I find what I need at a good price.

Went to the target in Camarillo to return some socks that were $15.07. I asked if I could get cash since I paid with debit. Lady with short hair and glasses said I couldnt.. thought it was weird since Ive been told before you are able to get cash.. messaged a friend that works for the one in Thousand Oaks about the situation, they did that if I paid with debit that they should be able to give me cash as long as I showed them my debit card (and ID.). Decided to try again but at a different target. And to my surprise, they were able to give me cash.. now it would usually not bug me for something that small. But I no longer use that banking. And the lady could of at least offer to put it in a target gift card. All she said was no when I asked if I could get cash instead of it going to my debit card.

Went to Starbucks to see that you’re barista “Remi” told us to refer to her as “your majesty”. Fantastic service

Kelly at the customer service desk went above and beyond to help me find the item I was looking for. In the end, a person (I think she was a supervisor) ended up helping me with a return and she was great.

Nice target, very busy location though so they are frequently out of stock of popular items/things on sale. Im ALWAYS disappointed in the cafe area because they never have food ready, things are often sold out, and the drink/slushie machines always seem to be messed up. The Starbucks is busy but very good!

The NEW REMODEL is HORRIDso long pizza and coke when im in a rush. Dark poorly lit fitting rooms have replaced the large bright fitting rooms. No big mirror to check out the fit of the clothing.The aisles are cramped and small and in many areas the cart doesnt fit. the shoe department is a constant disaster with low inventory.The toddler section is super confusing with items spread in different zones through out the store. the baby boy section, frankly sucks its so small.lots of the nicer food options have vanished that were staples at my house like the organic turkey hot dogs and the fresh vegan cupcakes.the new remodel is not user friendly and removed all the things that made target fun and easy to shop at.

I like the selections. You have upped your game and now so have I. But I do wish my store in Camarillo, CA was better stocked!

I always shop at target in Camarillo and it usually a pleasant experience. Today I had a cashier named Donavan help me and he was very helpful, patient, kind, and a joy to be around. He was not only like that with me but he was also very helpful with the customer in front of me helping her to navigate her cartwheel app!

Because I was sent from store to store on a item they “didn’t have even thought inventory showed 34 on hands. I sat in my car and in less than 15 that same item was ready for pick. I waited from multiple store a total of 4 1/2 hours for this item. Oxnard california store and Camarillo store have the worst customer service
