Ive loved this store since it opened. Connie is a beautiful person who has an amazing energy. She recently sold the place but she is staying on to help transition... The idea is to keep the place the same, just as she did when she bought it from Mary .....( I think more than 12 years ago??) I am sad to see Connie moving on but its time for her to have the time to sit down and read a book for once, since she has helped so many of us do it. No one is ever unwelcome in this store... It is everyones happy place... Thank you Connie! I am positive the person youve sold the store to will be just as amazing.

This store is straight out of a movie. Its adorable. They have a ton of books for such a small place. It has a comforting and cozy feeling as soon as you walk in and the owner is the sweetest lady. Super helpful and friendly. I love this store and wish they had one back home in Northern California!

Cute store. Tons of wonderful books and cute childrens toys. Its small and the books are packed in. if you are looking for something specific the shop keeper was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again.

How have I not already reviewed this place?! In fact, I would put it on my top 10 of Camarillo spots to visit. I LOVE Mrs Figs Bookworm! Each time you go there, you feel this warm fuzzy feeling, like youve entered some enchanted book store with excellent customer service and pretty much everything you need -- especially in terms of gift giving -- at your finger tips. I know how easy it is to go to Amazon and order what you need, but if you really want to peruse your books (and other gifts!), please stop by Mrs Figs to get what youd like. They are competitively priced, and gift wrap for free! I love this place!

Usually gives discount on summer reading on some books with Student ID! What a great way to be affordable for students! And Mrs.Figs herself is a very nice woman. Very patient for sure.

I came in to pick up a book that I ordered and when the owner saw my name was Rebecca, she asked if I had ever read the book Rebecca. When I said I hadnt read it yet, she quickly grabbed a copy off the shelf and was talking about the book excitedly. I told her that it sounded great, but I could only afford one book at the moment. She inderstood, rang me up and out I went. Only after I got into the car did I notice that there were 2 books in my bag, the one I ordered and a paperback of Rebecca. The book was everything she said it was and more. Thank you for your kindness and passion for the written word.

Pricey books, although there some books priced reasonable. It was a small place. Other than that we found books interesting. Possibly may go back on later visit.

Came here for a birthday present for a 6-year old, and wound up leaving with several books. Connie was awesome and showed me some great gift ideas and other books I ended up getting for my own kids. Great store that is a institution in Camarillo. Hope it sticks around for a long time.

The Bookworm is the best bookstore in Ventura County! Mrs. Halpern and her staff are extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful. On the rare occasion that they dont have what you are looking for, theyll order it for next day delivery. Local author book signings and book readings for children are icing on the cake.

I thought this was a used bookstore but everything was full price and it was very small not much of a selection. Mostly newer books
