I go there to get the oldest nephews, swimming trunks for water polo, centric place. Great selection, definitely a place to shop, nothing but good experiences. It has been a staple of active and sports oriented families for decades. My sister worked in the Oxnard store a few decades ago, she was also as happy as she could be, so that says all.

I bought a skateboard from there and the skateboard was not so good but was ok but the only thing is is that it sounds different and it acts different then other skateboards what most people have so thats why i am kinda upset.

Dont come here if you are expecting good customer service. Well ANY customer service at all. We walked in & not one person greeted us. Was looking for a mouth guard for my son & not one employee asked us if we needed help. They saw us there but DID not bother to come over & assist us in our search. Off to Dicks we go. It may be a little out of my way. But at least there Ive gotten the assistance we needed.

The store is well kept up and the staff is very helpful... They have a ton of variety you will probably find what you are looking for and the prices are great if you are looking at the sales sections. The email coupons that they send to you are the best they are one day sales and they give killer deals on random items its fun to check your email every day and see what item they have for the next day. Never ever a line during checkout always someone to help you and the store is well-maintained with great items and brands...

Love the new Pastor Matt Agnew from Arizona. Also love the students ministry focus and dont get me started on the worship team at the beginning of one of our 2 services. Sometimes I feel like I am in a christian concert sometimes Lol! Bible based church and family and children a huge focus.

Robert is the man to see for your local firearms at Camarillo Big 5. Robert & his staff are helpful, courteous and have excellent product knowledge.

If you seen most Big 5s you know they pretty much look the same inside and outside. This store is no different. It has sports equipment and survival gear such as tents, guns, sleeping bags and much more stuff. I normally come here for games such as darts, foose tables and stuff like that. People are helpful and let you wonder around if you just want to look around.

Big 5 sporting goods has a huge selection of camping fishing sports equipment braces from knees to elbow to ankle etc. I purchased a few different items and find good quality.

A little of everything from camping to rollerblading.. tennis to field hockey. Staff is helpfull and items reasonably priced

The store is clean and has a larger selection of items than I thought. There were not many staff members around to help but overall I had a good experience. They had a nice package deal for soccer cleats, shinguarda and a ball that i would recommend for beginners.

Only go here for baseball stuff. The entire store screams of a dying business. Overpriced hoopla. Dosnt fill co2. Everytime I go in here it reminds me why you should shop elsewhere. Nothing of use and value here.

Where else can you get kids soccer cleats, lip balm AND a shotgun??? Only place I know of is Big 5. Plus, theyre one of those stores which they FORCE the employees to say hello when you walk in to discourage shoplifting, but it just makes me feel important. Like they were waiting ALLL DAY just for me to walk in and they were so relieved when I finally did...
