Just purchased a 2015 Tacoma here and am ecstatic about it! The boys who work here are super helpful and easy to talk to and they dont try to pressure you at all. Its a small, privately owned lot and you can see that they really care about their customers and the trucks theyre selling. After purchasing my Tacoma, I went to drive it off the lot and found that they had taken it into the shop to spray it with something to prevent rust - not that they had to, just because they cared. So yeah, really, really into this place.Plus, they have a store dog, which is enough of a selling point alone.

John was very responsive to our inquiries about a used car he had on his lot. He set up a mutually agreeable time for us to come by to see the car and take it for a test drive. He was very low pressure and I wish the car had been what my husband was wanting to buy, but it wasnt. So, we didnt end up doing business with Bellus, but I certainly would return if we ever needed another car. Nice local dealership that we would recommend.

Great experience. John was professional, honest and knowledgeable. I left feeling like I received a fair deal and good treatment. I would definitely recommend Bellus motors to anyone looking to purchase a truck or receive quality maintenance in their onsite shop.update: Two days after getting my truck home I noticed the transmission was shifting oddly. I contacted John owner of Bellus Motors and Bill Allen (owner of Pacific NW Performance diesel) and told them about the issues I was having. Bill scheduled me to come in on Saturday (on his birthday) and fixed my problems free of charge. I got a full transmission service, had my transmission bands checked and had my governor pressure solenoid replaced. The truck runs just like it is supposed to now. I cannot say enough good things about the setup they have at Bellus Motors. Between John and Bill you are in very good hands. I will definitely continue to take my vehicle to this shop.

We purchased our first vehicle from John and team, a JK Jeep, even before they had a chance to get the vehicle completely ready for purchase. On delivery day a week later they had everything as promised with the vehicle, and they took the liberty of several additional modifications for the extra step that made us wonder why anyone would go elsewhere. A better radio was agreed to, but they also a backup camera. Wiring tightened up for the lighting. New grab bars. Additional suspension, diff, brake work. It wasnt a just another used vehicle off their lot - his team clearly wanted folks to ask, Whered you get such a nice car?. Weve told everyone since then.In addition we had a few problems with the brakes and bluetooth stereo that werent just right after a week, and they took care of us ASAP with total service. No questions, just service. Respect small businesses that treat customers like they want your business to come back again and again. If youre looking for a truck, Jeep, off-road, etc., give Bellus a chance to earn your business. Its not just a car sale to them.

I went in because I found the perfect car for myself. John was nice and helpful and also didn’t pressure us into buying the car. He said they fixed a sensor problem before he sold us the car which was bs. The big problem is that the car burns oil a lot (400 mi per quart). I truly believe the they didn know about the problem. Now I’m out $9500 with a worthless car at this point. Thanks guys

John is probably the best car salesman we have ever worked with. My husband actually contacted him about a year and a half ago looking for a specific truck, but couldnt find anything he had that we wanted. However, John was so patient and kind, tried to look around, and ultimately said he could always look at the auctions for us when he goes. We found a truck somewhere else, but both my husband and I kept saying, I really wish we could have found something with John! He was just so nice to us! He really went out of his way to help. Anyhow, we ended up selling that truck to a friend and were now looking for an older truck. My husband called John again, seeing what he had. He had one truck that really wasnt exactly what we were looking for, but he said we could come down and see it if we wanted. We live about 3 hours away, East of Seattle. He said he would even put us up in a hotel and make sure to send us home with a full tank of diesel. This was right before New Years, and he really didnt have anything on the lot that fit what we wanted so we didnt take him up on the offer. Unfortunately, another dealer in the middle of Oregon had a truck we thought was perfect, only to drive 5.5 hours with our little one, just to be mislead and lied to. We felt so defeated (and dumb, lol) and started heading back to the Portland area with no truck. I told my husband just to call John and see if we could see the one truck he had that wasnt a perfect fit, but was close. This was New Years Eve, he answered, and said he couldnt show us that evening but would be happy to meet us in the morning. So we were pretty sad that night, and really just figured we would meet John, see nothing we wanted, and head home empty handed. He met us in the morning (yes, this was New Years Day! Told you he was great!) and had the truck cleaned, filled with diesel, and in his garaged area so we didnt have to stand out in the rain and cold! Chatted with us, shared all of his information about the truck, didnt hide anything, provided all of the information we asked for, and had a VERY non-pushy approach. He is SO nice! He said we could take a test drive and I was just going to send my husband on a drive and hang with my daughter but he told us to feel free to install the carseat and go for a drive. He wasnt in any rush, and was so accommodating. My husband fell in love with the truck even though it totally wasnt what we were originally looking for, and we really wanted to give John our business after everything we had put him through. He even helped us get a pretty low interest rate loan, better than our bank did, and our bank is pretty good. His dealership will help with the entire loan process, he did all of the work for us, told us to go get lunch while he did all the paperwork, and we came back to everything done and ready for our signatures. He even let us take the truck to lunch so we could drive it a bit more. This was by far the quickest purchase process we have ever had with a car, even when we have paid with cash. He is very nice, funny, and easy to work with. He also let our 18 month old daughter run around his office and cause her usual toddler chaos and it didnt even seem to phase him.There were a few things wrong with the truck when we bought it that we knew about (small things like the parking sensors didnt work), and since we bought it have found several things we have had to fix and replace, however, it is an 8 year old truck and I feel like John honestly probably didnt know about most of the things, if not all of them. It could definitely happen at any dealership.We will definitely be recommending John to everyone we know. On a side note, my husband is in the Navy, and John gives a discount to all military, as he was in the military as well. Hes a very good guy, and wont mislead you, so we highly recommend him!

Bought a truck from John and Tony Saturday Dec 30th, and Ill tell you what. This was one of the best auto buying experiences Ive had. No pressure, laid back couple of guys that still maintained the proper professionalism that youd expect. I emailed them an inquire Friday night and they emailed me first thing in the morning to see when was best for me to check out the truck. Took it out for a test drive Saturday with my wife and we loved the truck! Had an issue with the radio cutting in and out, so John offered to pay towards a replacement, which I decided to upgrade and pay the extra. They also offered to ask if I ever wanted to make any extra purchases for the truck (tires, wheels, etc.) and they would ask their guys to get me the best deal. These guys arent just trying to get you a deal on a Big Badass Truck, they try to build relationships with their customers. I know Ill direct anyone I can their way!
