So I bought a dress in September 2020 and gave the shop a call in March 2021, as I hadnt heard anything about my dress and my wedding was set for July 2021. Turns out the dress was never ordered and no one had noticed or bothered to keep track of my order. I paid two thousand dollars for the dress and nothing further happened.I was offered free rush delivery for the mistake but at that point I just wanted to start new and try to find something else. I did receive a full refund.At the time I decided not to leave a bad review because my experience with trying on dresses was fantastic, I had a wonderful time and the dress I bought was everything I wanted. But recently I got an email from this place asking me to send them pictures of me in my wedding dress that was never ordered and I did not receive, further reminding me that this store does not keep track of their order history with their clients.I hope this was a one time mistake on their part because I dont want another bride to go through the stress of trying to find a dress three months before their wedding. Again, my experience up until the actual ordering of the dress was great, I was very comfortable with trying on dresses and the consultant listened to all my questions and concerns. I just wish that once I paid for the dress that I actually received it.

I had such a great experience at Your Big Day! I went in feeling self conscious about my body image and sort of dreading trying on dresses because I didnt think that anything would work. The owner was so amazing! She made me feel comfortable and beautiful. She knew exactly what dresses to pull for me to try on and she helped me see a vision of what the dresses would look like after alterations. After a few dresses she was able to nail down exactly the dress that was perfect for me. I was smiling from ear to ear the whole experience! Im so grateful! And Im so excited for the alterations and to marry my best friend.

A unique little store with excellent customer service. An absolute gem. I visited several dress stores. Ya know, the big box store? We won’t name any names but the experience had me more anxious by the time I left then I was when I walked in. Then I found Your Big Day & found the perfect dress. In fact I found more options in this shop within the first 5 minutes then I did in 2 hours at a big store with a million dresses. The gowns are absolutely gorgeous! The ladies are professional, genuine & extremely accommodating. I would recommend this shop being your first stop if your shopping for a wedding dress! Bonus they style men too!

I needed a certain color tuxedo top and I could not find anyone and I called all over Portland and Vancouver and they got me into an appointment for fitting and measurements and I was inside for about 10 minutes and found my style, my color and they provided very good customer service and worked me into a tight schedule. Great place and will be back if I need to find nice attire for an event.

I had been to 3 other stores multiple times looking a perfect dress before finding Your Big Day, and I was feeling rather discouraged. But the dress selection was affordable, thoughtful and gorgeous. Summer helped me narrow down what style of dress I was searching for, and the dress I ended up with was her smart pick. I had appointment there today. Was great. Lisa was on hand today and took care of me. After trying other places with no personal service and no luck finding a dress thats modest i found several today that could have been altered to fit me. Lisa was excellent. Ultimatly was able to order from their wharehouse that will only need minor alterations. Im sooo excited to have the dress of my dreams. Thanks Your Big Day.

I was referred here by a friend that came here very recently and I am so glad I took her word for it! I couldn’t imagine the experience any better. Ana made my party and I feel so welcome & comfortable, she took everything I said I wanted and found the perfect dress. I expected that I would have to try on so many more dresses than I did but she nailed it and found me the perfect dress so quick. She is truly talented and amazing at her job! I had been to a few other shops before this, but here was the experience I was dreaming of! The staff were all friendly, they were extremely accommodating, and they were genuinely excited to be a part of the day with us. We enjoyed every moment, and found the PERFECT dress! LOVE this bridal salon!! My mom and I went in randomly, not expecting to buy anything, just looking around. Anna and Summer treated us SO good and Summer was SO nice and knew before I did that I had found my dress, and ended up buying a dress that same day. They were so sweet and I loved the experience. Shopped for bridesmaids dresses as well and had the exact same experience; helpful, nice, and knowledgeable. Truthfully, I had been dreading this experience. I had no idea what I wanted in a wedding dress and am self conscious about parts of my body. She made sure that I felt comfortable and heard throughout the entire process! I could tell it was important to her that I felt special and beautiful. She was beyond helpful, kind and funny. I love this dress shop! Not only do they have gorgeous designs, she has many beautiful dresses available right off the rack for an incredible price! Anna is amazing. We went to 5 different bridal salons and none compare to this one! Anna and Summer know their stuff. Summer walked our bride through the whole process, made her feel special and listened to her. Even though I didn’t find my dress here, I still really appreciated Summer and the store. I’m not very girly or knowledgeable in wedding dresses, but she helped me understand and find styles that flattered me and that I liked. I felt listened to, and valued as a customer. The dresses they offer feel very special and boutique-y, which are really great for brides looking for that extra special, more dramatic dress. I prefer more simple dresses, and ended up buying a more classic/traditional dress to match my style elsewhere, but the service at YBD was great, and I really appreciated Summer’s patience and honesty throughout the whole process!

AMAZING!! I went into YBD on 10/3/2020 for my very first wedding dress appointment and left with my dream dress and the best experience ever. I was accompanied by my mom, two sisters, and future mother-in-law and we all had the best time! We were helped by Summer and she is truly so good at what she does. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, listened to me and my wishes, and made the process so easy and fun. The dresses here are so unique and special, the team at YBD truly cares about their clients and they are genuinely kind people!

Anna helped my groomsmen and I order our suits for my wedding day. She was polite, professional, friendly, and extremely helpful!Then we got hit with the Pandemic and had to re-plan and re-organize and change our order, which Anna handled on the fly like it was nothing. She was extremely easy to work with through the entire process. Even down to getting an Ivory shirt shipped directly to me last minute!Anna here at Your Big Day is the place to go to. Anna at Your Big Day really knows how to help a girl out- I wish I’d known about this store sooner! I ran into last minute issues getting my veil through a different retailer. In a panic I contacted Anna and she helped me get a replacement veil in a timely fashion so I could be prepared for my wedding date. I so appreciated her sympathy, sense of urgency in helping me solve the problem, and delivering a perfect veil to me. Above and beyond customer service and a very cute boutique!

I really wanted to like this Bridal shop, but every experience I had was incredibly stressful and unsatisfactory. The shop is beautiful, and they do offer some incredible gowns. However from the very start, things did not go well for me. I was never asked what my budget was, and therefore many of the dresses that the owner brought to me were outside of my price point. I ultimately found the dress I wanted here, and Anna did offer me a discount if I were to rent the suits through her as well, which I did. I chose to have my dress altered by the seamstress who worked with the shop (she was fantastic) and Anna instructed me to just call before my appointment to confirm that my dress had come in. I did call and was guaranteed by one of the employees that my dress would be there in time and that my appointment was in the books. However when I showed up for the appointment, I was informed that my dress did not come in, although no one bothered to tell me, even though it was obvious the she booked someone else for my appointment slot. I shrugged it off and just rescheduled. While the seamstress was fantastic, Anna had told me what to expect for a cost for a hem for the dress I chose, but it was more than double what she had prepared me for. As for my experience with the suits, this was actually much worse. She seemed to not have a good way of keeping tack of everything and told us a few times that she needed payment for something that had already been paid for. Including my fathers suit being shipped directly to him, since he lived out of town. I am confident that if I had not reminded her about this, it would not have happened. Anna measured everyone but my father for their suits, so I was shocked when the suits arrived just days before the wedding how many mistakes there were with the sizes, and not because of weight gain or weight loss. Were talking about pants that were too long or shirts that way too short for their arms. My husbands Jacket was FAR too large, yet Anna insisted that it looked just fine. When we asked her to order a specific size replacement she initially refused only offering a size she thought would be better, but after many tense conversations she finally agreed to order an extra jacket. This smaller jacket that we insisted on was ultimately the jacket that worked and that he wore on our wedding day. The jacket showed up just an hour shy of when had to be at our wedding venue for the rehearsal the day before the wedding. While everything worked out in the end, It was not worth the stress that was caused, especially so close to the wedding. Weddings are already so stressful as it is, and I hate to think what would have happened if I had trusted Anna and hadnt been so persistent about the right jacket size. I would not recommend Your Big Day.

I love this place. The owner and her emoloyee were amazing! They treated me and my 7 girls like family and they didnt even care that I wanted to try on about 15 dresses. Although YBD prices are extremely good, I wanted to shop a few gently used gown stores before making a decision and..my experience was awful. My wedding is August 10th and my wedding dress was a mess and I was not happy about it. So I called the next day and my girlfriend and I went and found the most beautiful fairytale Ball Gown for $54.00. Such a great place to find dresses! But DO NOT use the seamstress. She charges way too much & completely ruined the back of my $250 prom dress. The alterations were another $110. The zipper is broke and the jewels are completely uneven on the back of my dress. I repeat DO NOT use the seamstress here!! Go to a different one if you want good results.
