After shopping around at multiple KTM dealers for a 2022 500 EXC-F, I found Tony from the motor cafe. Tony was patient, knowledgeable, kind, and very professional. Not only was he able to get me the best deal on my brand new bike, but he was also a pleasure to talk to and to do business with. He made my wife and I (and our dog) feel right at home when we came to buy the bike. Outstanding guy! Outstanding bike!
I wont waste my time typing details about why Im dissatisfied however, I have to say I was verbally warned by previous customers and I did not believe them. Now I see why they said what they said...Neither of my bikes will go there to be serviced, neither Ill buy there the next ones....And about the excellent reviews here... well, I recommend you to dig in local forums to contrast with real opinions about the service quality at Motor Cafe. I live walking distance from it, but Ill have no choice other than drive anywhere necessary next time I need to buy or service.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Im traveling across the country and needed some critical work done on my bike on short notice. Service advisor Kevin went above and beyond to help me out... even calling other dealers for parts. Best customer service Ive experienced in a long time!
I was visiting The Motor Cafe with my family (wife and toddlers).I narrowed it down to two bikes, both bikes were available in the showroom. Tony was excellent to work with(!)He was very kind, greeted us, offered water to us and asked if there is anything he can do to help to make us feel comfortable. He seemed very knowledgable, laid back and friendly. He had to leave for a short test drive and two of his colleagues also offered us help in case we need anything. Talking to Tony, we felt very welcomed and I felt ZERO pressure. He didn’t try to influence my decision. He helped me with questions I didnt even know I had (Huge thank you)I visited other dealers, in-fact I have a Ducati / KTM dealer just two blocks away from us and The Motor Cafe is one hour away - but I am buying my next bike from here(!)I put a deposit down for a 2022 Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP. (which the other dealer wasn’t interested ordering, because they wanted to sell their current models first)Thank you Tony!!!
I was actually sold on a motorcycle by a sales rep that used to work here. He talked bikes with me for a week and answered all of my annoying questions. Seriously, this dealership lost a great sales guy! ... that being said, Jose was so great in getting my bike and paperwork ready for pickup. The team was positive and reflected my elated energy when I came in. I look forward to doing with business with them. I mustve found a great dealership for their ex-sales guy to be so helpful selling their inventory! 🏍
Purchased a 2021 KTM 300XC-W at the beginning of the year, while the bike is great, their sale team was a pain to deal with. They lost my manual, toolkit, and various spare parts and accessories that come from ktm. It took close to 2 months to resolve these issues, and several additional visits to the dealership. Each phone call the salesperson told me the items had been ordered for me but no order had been made.Save time and money, go to a different ktm dealer. Ive sent all my friends to the one in Gilroy and they had good experiences.
Go see Neal. Easiest purchase I have made in a loooong time. Clear, transparent, and impeccable service. I bought a 2019 Desert sled...couldnt have gone easier...and that bike is a ripper! He even, literally, went the extra mile to help me get the bike delivered right to my front door. Just stellar! Thanks Neal!
Very friendly.Dogs allowed (on leash of course).Easy to work with. The kind of experience you would expect at a shop selling top end bikes. Very customer service focused.... as much as is possibly reasonable.Ready and willing to do test rides. They want you to find the right bike.
Tony and Dino were absolutely fantastic to work with. I live in NH and was looking for a very specific bike that could hardly be found anywhere...The Motor Cafe had it, and at a very reasonable price point. I had never purchased something of this magnitude sight unseen and so was very nervous about the process with a company 3000 miles away. Tony made it easy and ensured I received all of my paperwork and even had some tips on shipping services. The shipping service I selected experienced some significant delays and rescheduled pickup with TMC multiple times, but Tony was patient and worked with the shipping company and I until it was on its way. Thanks to Tony and the TMC team for making a long-distance purchase as comfortable as it could be!Mike
Unhelpful sales staff, overall bad experience (things forgotten, multiple trips). I would look elsewhere if you can.
Shop local especially when they are nice. I wanted to get a KTM so I came to Motor Cafe. Sat down with the sales guy Jose and figured out a deal over follow-up phone conversations. Jose was very helpful and honest about every detail of the sale. I eventually had to break up the deal due to unexpected situation, Jose refunded my deposit without any complaint or questions. I really appreciate that. Would definitely go back and get the bike from Jose if I can solve my problem. Go talk to them if you are looking for a bike, unlike other dealers, they are willing to help and establish a long term relationship instead of just selling you some expensive bikes.
Great helpful knowledge staff ask for kait
Super friendly staff, huge selection of Husky, Ducati, and KTM!
Called to ask about filters. After he told me they are backed ordered and I was trying to tell him how hard they are to find he hung up on me. Unprofessional, no wonder why KTM is sending you guys stuff late.
Great group of people working in here. I wrecked my motorcycle a few days ago and am starting to look at a few potentials. They answered tons of questions and took time showing me around the few that I like. I cannot ride until a few minor injuries heal, but they still took time to help me
The owner Brad, the parts guy TJ, Jose and the rest are great guys and fun to talk to. They take good care of me and my KTMs. The new store is fancy and full of beautiful bikes.
Deano is a good sales person - easy to talk to.
Always a huge selection of new and used motorcycles. Unlike most of the bay area dealers these guys are actually helpful and work at selling you a motorcycle. We went there with the intention of getting my wife a new Ducati Scrambler. On the way in she spotted a lightly used KTM Duke that had just came in on trade hours earlier and had not yet meant to be on the sales floor. I offered the cash and they stayed late, got it inspected and serviced, and made it happen.
Bald headed parts guy is rude...Everyone else is cool
I have always had great service here but was shocked to hear they have a no-face mask policy for thier staff during the pandemic. There were 6 customers in the store when I was there, all 6 had on masks but not a single employee. One customer was even in a high risk group. I even offered a new mask but was told we have them but dont have to wear them.
Even when it is not crowded it takes a while to get help
I’ve been coming here to browse new bikes for a few years. Everyone is always really nice and helpful. Last week I finally bought a bike from here and the experience was great! I worked with Jose and Dalton and they both very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Excellent service...I would highly recommend to anyone!!!
They will move soon, but always a great place to visit for window shopping
Had a great experience here. Came in to buy some parts but left with a new regular place. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They have a good selection of different types and makes of bikes. The staff were knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I didnt feel pressured or goaded like allot of sales staff can make you feel. Pretty good used selection as well. Will be back soon.
If I owned and ran a motorcycle shop -- this is exactly how I would want it done. Ive now bought two new bikes here -- and Jose is a bikers biker. Knowledgeable. Patient. Truly wants to help. The owner Brad is on-site and cares about quality and customer service. He and everyone were just amazing with my 12-year old daughter who was getting her first bike. They outfitted her with quality gear. I cant say enough good things about the Motor Cafe. Highly Recommended!
Great longtime local dealer. KTM, Husky, and Ducati are well represented.
This place seems to have mixed reviews, but my experiences have always been positive (New Sales department). Tommy there is an interesting character who makes me feel like Im back home in the Midwest. Very friendly and personable service with an unbelievable memory. He can remember my full name and everything about my transaction just by hearing my voice over the phone. You just dont see that level of service anywhere on the peninsula these days. A+
I am changing my review from 3 stars to 5 stars and here’s why. The lady who works in the finance was very very friendly I would say a little too friendly but that’s OK she got me approved through another bank which was very very appreciated, basically made my day my whole year and I really appreciate that the sales person was kind of a slightly off because he said kind of in a demanding way well and when are you going to buy this motorcycle like he was like you better buy this motorcycle type a thing which I didn’t like But in all fairness he did get me a motorcycle I wanted so thank you for that he did help me test drive it and there are a few people there who made us feel comfortable overall I enjoyed my buying experience and most likely will be back for another one in the future in the near future thank you
WOW!!! It was totally awesome!!!!! Dalton helped me a lot, even when I bought a bike during Covid-19! You guys should put him as the CEO!
Nice clean showroom. Just stopped by to get a part for my sons bike. Was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The showroom was a bit crowded with all the bikes, but not to the point where I felt like I couldnt move around like some other stores.
The people and products are great! This is one of my favorite places to shop.
I dropped my bike for repair needing a 20k service: valves, tires, oil, inspection, etc. plus complications of sending wheels out to repair dents. These guys did a great job serving and finding additional safety issues that needed attention. There was a fiasco over parts availability and it took 5 weeks to get my bike back for what was supposed to be 8 hours. Brad was very understanding. They did a lot of work at no charge and gave me a substantial discount. Thanks motor cafe!
The service department is awesome!Im extremely thankful for the awesome staff who took a few minutes out of their busy schedule to help me figure out what was wrong with my KTM 500 as I was coming through town.
Super helpful and fast fixing my Honda 919 with a bust chain and sprocket. Found the best price for parts and delivered faster than estimated. Say hello to Kevin for me when youre there. Im sure those old reviews are just not valid anymore.
I had a GREAT EXPERIENCE HERE. The owner was showing me the gears on how to ride a bike. He told me to take bike lessons, and I am. Thanks so much to teaching me these things. I had fun!!!!!!😀😀😀😀
Dan and Ron do such a great job of managing all the facets of this place. Its quite amazing how well theyre able to keep changing with the times and adapting to different scenarios. Thanks guys, you do great work.
I had a good experience here to help with excellent. I was looking to get financed on a motorcycle my credit is very high and very good and my percentage seems to be pretty high I didnt want to fuss I decided not to purchase motorcycle. However the people were very friendly good inventory. I will return to buy me a KTM outfits
Got my Honda CB500F from here. Very nice and friendly staff, good knowledge but a bit pricey. The service department is very nice and they even adjusted my handle bars for free.
Gone here a few times. The staff are always very friendly and helpful which is a plus and the reason I gave it 2 stars, but they never have the tool or right part and when they do its overpriced. As is their service department, I was quoted 150$ for a chain replacement......does it really take them an hour and half for them to do the replacement? if it does I wouldnt want them working on my bike anyway its a 30 minute job....
Brought my bike in when it wouldnt start and a few months out of warranty. The owner was SUPER helpful in diagnosing the problem and working with the company to get it fixed under warranty. The lady who works in service is also very friendly and helpful. So glad this is my local shop!
Went to shop for a tank bag, received very little help at first (Minus one star). Then was greeted by the parts manager and was treated to a lesson in first class customer service. Thank you!
Everyone we dealt with at The Motor Cafe was great, got awesome advice on which bike was best for me, got a pretty solid deal on a 690 duke that I absolutely love, and the financing was also really impressive, they made the purchase process easy and painless. I’m super grateful that I bought my bike here, and plan on coming back soon to buy a bike for my wife 🤙🏻
Great euro/Honda shop that always seems to have what I need in stock when it comes down to KTM parts. The people are always super friendly. Prices of everything are very reasonable and they seem like they are willing to cut a deal on a bike in order to sell it.
I have brought my bike here for service and parts.I dont know exactly what the other reviewers did or were not happy with.Every time i come here they are patient and try their best to fit me in last minute.I show them respect and let them do their jobs and in turn they have every time tried shaving dollars off of the quoted amount, and going the extra mile with me.My battery on my 696 died this winter and i needed a swap out and they said if they get the part from the dealer its 130 but if they use the same battery they have in stock it will shave off 20$, so he Mark walked over from service to the parts dept and picked one up personally while i waited. That is a class act. Then I was late getting in at 11:30 cause i called too late for a tow to bring the bike in. No hills at all where i live so starting it on a flat is pretty hard from cold, but he still got me in today and knowing him he will probably get it completed today as well.As for pricing, they are standard at $95 an hour. Its a dealership and i wouldnt even expect it to be that low. Most mechanics are $65 to $75 so for $20 bucks more for them to take it responsibly is great for me, so I dont have to worry about having to clear space in my garage to work on it.Maybe one day they will make a mistake with me or damage something, but so far my service there has been in a word Excellent.
I went here to buy my bike. Quick. Easy. Painless. I’m happy to come here for my services on my 2015 ktm rc390. Dave helped me out on my first service and even gave me a good discount on the bike! Very helpful staff. I will definitely be returning and recommend this dealer and service department.
As a first time rider you want sound advice, guidance on various fronts and someone experienced enough to provide useful tips. All expectations were met at The Motor Cafe. Probably the most reliable and genuine folks in the community.
This store does not sell Honda products anymore. Its likely that this store will close very soon. The property is being redeveloped. This store is moving near Camden and Curtner and is too close to another Honda dealership. It is not even possible for this dealership to purchase Honda parts. I went there for a Honda part but it was not possible to accomplish this transaction. Never the less, the person who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable and was apologetic about not being able to fulfill my needs.
I have always received great support here with no pressure to buy. One of my favorite spots to visit because of the sales staff. I feel at ease when i step through the door.
I took my VFR in to chase down a fueling glitch and was VERY pleased with the treatment I received from Peter and his team in the service department. They were unfailingly responsive, helpful, honest and most of all they clearly wanted to ensure I left satisfied. Great job!
Bought a new Ninja here, and had a great experience. Greg on the sales team went above and beyond, and also helped me get familiar with the new bike when I received it. Thanks! Didnt deal with the service department at all, so I cant speak to that.
Got my 2019 Ducati Diavel and Dalton @Motorcafe was courteous in providing all the details of the motorcycle!!!
Great service from start to finish. I would highly recommend this place if your looking for OEM parts.
Ive purchased two bikes (a CB500F and a Hyperstrada) from The Motor Cafe in the past 2 years and both purchases couldnt have been easier or more friendly. Would definitely recommend this place, especially if you are a first time buyer.
Awesome dealership and service. Im new to the area and they took the time to map out an awesome ride for me through the mountains. They also have a healthy selection of motorcycles and accessories in stock.
Their parts department is really cool. Fast, has parts in stock or willing to have them be over in couple of days. Go to place for KTM bits. Sales is pushy so I try to stay away from them.
Just look elsewhere. Many of the decent reviews here are definitely fake. The service department here is terrible. The techs are actually great, but service management has _no idea_ what theyre doing. They lie, refuse service, forget, and try to manipulate a situation. I have used this shop for years across three bikes, spent thousands of dollars, and ALWAYS the service has been terrible. Im always pulling teeth to get them to do what they agreed.Real quotes:We suck at working on KTM 950 and 990 Adventures, theyre too fragile. Were a KTM dealer yeah but I prefer my guys to only work on other bikes. There are million dollar houses in the bay area, I cant have my techs chasing issues on a bike.If Id known about your bike had a leak, and if our receptionist wasnt on her first day, Id have refused to work on your bike.Leak? What leak? Its not on the service order.; Day prior: Oh yeah looks like its leaking right there, well do a fluid diagnostic. The bike leaking oil and doing an oil level check are two totally different things. The service manager I worked with was named Dave.Seriously, you can do better. Take your bike anywhere else. There are much better service shops in the bay area that are not run by car salesmen turned clowns. If youre a tech at this shop, please move on with life and find another shop to work at. Your management is terrible.
Really great shop. The salespeople are incredibly helpful, and guided me through fitting helmets and other gear.
One star just for friendly sales manager. We asked about loan rate we can have and instead of making soft request they did hard.Strange experience. Very unprofessional accountant.
If you have a dirt bike or a street bike, especially at KTM. Great place to get parts and service!
Awesome experience! Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. You always feel welcome.
Ron, in parts, is the absolute best to deal with. When problems arise he simply handles them in a professional and efficient manor. I highly recommend working with him for any parts order. They have Ducati experience days. Go ride a Duc and see if you want one over your current ride. Pretty cool. Seems to be once a year.
Ive had a few bikes serviced here and given them many chances. They dont listen to the problem when I describe it, out perhaps they forget a it always seems to take them months to finish. Do a little work, find a different problem send it to the end of the cue, and watch the Weeks roll by.
I worked there 3 years ago. Saw my. Review for 5 stars still up? No I had to say what I really feel they deserve. I heard their politics have not changed. Thats all I have to say. Otherwise it would be not nice.
Outstanding Customer Service! I spoke to Dan over the phone about SIDI Boots. He took the time in checking his inventory so I stopped in at 107 degree heat. I could have bought The boots online without paying tax but Dans service was so Great in person, I bought the SIDI ST Boots from him and paid more money. Thanks Dan!
Good but not great selection of bikes. Weekends get very busy for these guys. Which means if you have questions, be prepared to wait in line to get someone. Tje reason i didnt give 5 stars in the small selection of gear that they have. Wish they had more options.
4/18/19 Update: My mirror came loose on the highway yesterday, just a few miles after the break in service where my invoice said they checked and re-tightened bolts. Also - still waiting for my stock handguards.4/10/19: I recently purchased and serviced my 2019 KTM Superduke GT at The Motor Cafe. The sales department was helpful, responsive, and flexible - I had a really positive experience with them (my only complaint being that the stock hand guards were missing from the bike at the time of purchase and still have not been received after a month of owning the bike). The service department was disorganized and unhelpful - I had a really negative experience with them. This has been my only interaction with The Motor Cafe to date. Since I feel the service side of a motorcycle shop is more important to the long term relationship with the shop, I have given The Motor Cafe 2 stars.DETAILS:I called the service department to schedule my break in service on the KTM and secured a spot a week later. I was told at that time the bike would be ready by the end of the day on the day of my service. My plan was to drop off the bike in advance (on a Saturday) so it would be ready for service at the start of their next shift, and pick up the bike at close of business on the day of my service slot (Tuesday). On Tuesday morning I took an Uber to work (45 mins) with the intention of taking another to the shop (5 mins) and then riding the bike home.I called and left a message the morning of my service to confirm my pick up time and request they add the hill hold control feature to bikes computer. My call was not returned. I called again later in the day and was told they had not started working on the bike and that it would not be ready today. Obviously, this upset me as I had coordinated with them in advance and now I needed to make additional arrangements and spend additional money ($100) to get around and pick it up the next day.It was difficult to get a straight answer out of the service manager who talked in circles about the queue and why my bike wasnt ready. My perspective is that it shouldnt be this difficult to turn around a simple break in service (oil change and general check) within a 9 hour period after it was coordinated a week in advance and the bike was dropped off in advance.I picked up my bike the next day (today actually). I found that the hill hold control was not added. I also found that my key was misplaced and waited an extra 10-15 minutes for them to locate it. After getting on the highway I found that my seat was not properly installed (the end that saddles the tank was off one of the pegs and flapping in the wind).Bikes are getting increasingly expensive and complex. How am I going to trust my new $25K machine to a shop that cant coordinate an appointment, cant explain or apologize for a mistake, and cant properly install a seat? I will not be servicing my KTM or my other two motorcycles here moving forward.
Horrible salesmanship, I called them to get a quote for a bike and the guy immediately asked who they were price matching. Its a fair question so I told him, first he said that the quote I got was a t a dealership too far for them to price match and rambled on about a bunch of made up stuff on how that area gets much better deals and so on.I gave him another quote from a more local place and he laughed at me, saying that the other dealerships price was way too low and they must be hiding something or else I should just drive the extra miles and not even bother coming by them. WHAT KIND OF A SALES REP DISCOURAGES CUSTOMERS FROM COMING IN?!?I asked him to email me their quote anyways (which he never did) and quickly ended the call to help someone else. I cant believe how rude he treated me before I even got a chance to walk in and Im telling my friends to never step foot in there. Its a waste of time if these are the kinds of people MotorCafe employs.
I bought my bike from here. Called them recently to ask help with duplicate keys. The least i expected was help with providing blanks. They refused any help.
Been going to the Motor Cafe before it became such, since 1995. The number of long time employees that are still there is a testemant to how good it is.
Parts Department most helpful and if not in stock parts order fast!
Friendly 🙋🙋🙋 staff, clean, neat, 🏍🏍🏍 bikes well organized and spaced out. No one 😎 following the customer around leaning on your 😨 back, looking to take your 💰...fun and kewl place! 👍
Picked up the oem rear rack for my wifes Duke 390. Makes it more versatile. Friendly staff.
Ever since management changed service has been absolutely stellar. Sure, theyre expensive but definitely not outrageous and the quality service is totally worth the premium expense.
Friendly staff. Parts counter is hit and miss over the phone. It is always best to come in to check their stock.
This is probably one the most incompetent dealers I have ever dealt with and if I handled situations the same as these people Id have been fired already.Initially I was supposed to come in for a recall. Turns out the recall was made up or something.I threw away a couple hundred dollars because they have wasted my time and my time is my money in sales. Also the two uber rides i had to take for no reason.I will cut ryan at service some slack since the recall wasnt his fault. What I wont cut him slack for is lack of communication. Parts were ordered but my bike sat at the dealer for almost 2 weeks with no updates unless i called in.They over charge for all of their parts and labor. They charged me 70 dollars to install a brake lever. Over half an hour of labor for a simple job. They were trying to charge 400 dollars for a parts kit you can buy anywhere in the bay for $180-$260. They are shady and incompetent.I will never take my bike back there again especially when there are better dealers and 3rd party shops like Desmoto and Nichols Sport Bikes. Nichols has taken care of me very well and I will just use them from now on.
Their service department is like a motorcycle graveyard. There are TONS of bikes piled up that need parts and service and have been forgotten. I come to them with a simple problem, they take apart the bike and leave it in pieces while I wait a month for parts to come in. They do not listen when I describe issues to them (such as a slipping clutch) and dismiss my comments. They talk to me like I dont know anything about motorcycles. Also, be very careful about what paperwork you sign. They had me sign for work that they assured me the insurance company would pay for, and then called me weeks later to make me pay for it after the insurance company said it wasnt necessary. They hit me up for more than my deductible. They have even tried to double bill me for parts I ordered and neglected to call me when the parts came in. Their customer service is an absolute mess and I would avoid this shop at all costs.
Friendly helpful staff shop dose good work and best ktm dealer around
Service was great. Fixed a number of warranty issues, tuned up the bike.
Go somewhere else!I had tire installation issues. Was buying tires for my motorcycles and the gentlemen at the Motor cafe parts department quoted me the price of getting the tires installed $120 (wheels on the bike). Call to get an appointment for the install and then the price balloon to over $190 (60% more). The lady at the Motor Cafe service department said the people that work at parts do not know the cost of service... That they are two different departmentsCome on! It is one business with less than 30 employees. Dont tell me the person in part that has been there for 15 years does not know how much it cost to install the tires. The fact that your legally segment your business in different departments for accounting and fiscal reasons does not entitle you to outright lie to your customer.I bought expensive motorcycles there, Ducati-Dainese suit, accessories, and had my Duc and KTM service there. I had been a good customer over the last 10 years. And now they lost my business over something as futile as 50$ of tire installation fees... And yes, it is not really the $50, it the experience of dealing with the lady at Motor cafe service that got me so upset!
Bought multible bikes here. Tyhese.guys are solid. Parts and Service dept are good too
Fine place to buy a bike, but avoid the deceptive and incompetent service group out back. Had service done (faulty tire valve warranty issue & a tire). They quoted me one tire on the phone, and refused to sell it to me at the shop, quoting $100 over list for another tire. I asked for higher-mileage tire, and they mounted a stickier, lower mileage tire. Then they wanted to charge me for the faulty tire valve, the warranty problem. Changing the tire took a full day. It was a very simple service and they found a way to lie, cheat, and screw up.
Asked about a replacement rear tire and servicing the chain on my Ducati 848 only to have them rudely tell me they do not offer the tire and would be until a month when they could look at my chain. I have been in the store/shop since and they practically have no business --looks almost like they are simply buying time. Avoid this place and the service dept! Wish Ducati would simply revoke their dealership license. They have no business selling or servicing these motorcycles.
One of the best motorcycle shops in the area with a great selection of motorcycles and accessories and excellent sales staff.
Love my 1290. thanks guys
They have good collections of ducati. They are authorized ducati test drive center. You could take a bike for a test drive for about 7 miles where you follow the sales guy. They have a pretty decent collection of honda and ktm too. Not the best price for the bikes but the guys know their stuff. Good place for a regular.
My wife and I bought our motorcycles here. All staff is friendly and helpful. However this shop moved to Campbell at all.
This is a review to detail my two experiences in dealing with the Motor Café.My first issue started when I needed help with the keyless ignition on my Ducati Multistrada.I asked them to do two things. One was to figure out the problem of why my keyless ignition was not recognizing my key FOB.The other was to reprogram my ignition PIN number because I had bought the bike usedI did not have the PIN and in case I was to drop the key FOB and damage it so that I would then need PIN in order to start my motorcycle. They were able to diagnose the FOB problem (by simply selling me a new FOB) but didnt reprogram a new PIN for me and by the time they were done the shop was closing and the Tech had left so I had to take the bike home without having the PIN in case of emergency. The second issue was with my KTM 990 ADVENTURE.I had just purchased a 2008 KTM 990 Adventure and wanted to have the bike gone over with a tuneup and also one of the fuel lines was leaking and I wanted to have the fuel lines replaced. I called the Motor Café for an appointment but was told that even though they areAnd authorized KTM dealer they would not even look at my 990 Adventure no matter what year and no matter what the problem. They just wanted to have nothing to do with helping me. I called KTM North America and spoke to their Customer Service and they were quite confused and wanted to find out what was the issue with that bike that would prevent them from even looking at it. So, to summarize, I have had a very negative experience with the Motor Café thus far and will not be using them for my future service needs on any of my three motorcycles.
One of the few motorcycle shops that the people seem to be pretty nice and interested in helping you.
They do a good job here, and people are friendly. Ive been going to this location since the late 80s, and even though I dont buy bikes here, its nice to have them around. Mostly I buy parts here.
Great place, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the products on display.
The place to go for Ducati, KTM and Honda. Excellent sales and service.
Very friendly staff, great selection of bikes and accessories.
The service department here is great, the sales department is not nearly as good. I get my motorcycle serviced here but would buy somewhere else.
Buy my bikes and any parts here. Great store, easy staff to talk with. Ask for Jose in Sales.
Service department needs to just close down and disappear. Took multiple visits to fix a faulty starter motor on a hypermotard 821. Always blamed on me, apparently... I wasn`t pressing the starter long enough... then on my second visit i was releasing the starter button at TDC... just full of BS. Third visit when the bike would just plain not start ... so they had to fix it. Diagnosed the problem wrong and changed the started clutch... so had to bring the bike back again and they finally fixed the starter motor. When they finally fixed it, they test rode the bike without the filler oil plug on and returned the bike to me covered in oil. I took it as it was since I ll never return there for service and did not trust them to leave the bike with them anymore.Never again !
