Had a bunch of broken gold jewelry items. necklaces rings and a bracelet. shopped two big cash for gold shops in Rochester and spoke to someone via phone and the individual convinced me it would be well worth my travel time to get a estimate on what he would offer me.. I took the ride and was very surprised for the same items i was offered $90 more then the two other shops I went too. Shop around and goto this place LAST !!!!!!!!!

They always offered the best prices!And when I had some gold that I wanted to turn into quick cash I went to 2 or 3 places in Rochester who didnt offer nearly as fair a price as these guys did. My wife and I recently acquired a small amount of older jewelry from my grandparents estate we decided we had no use for the older rope gold chains and other odds & ends so we checked out two local dealers in Rochester then decided to make a call to this shop and spoke to the owner and he promised to make us a higher offer and beat all others by at least $50. Me and my wife had saved up over the years a bunch of broken Gold & silver jewelry that we no longer had use for so we decided we could use a little extra cash and part ways with these broken unwanted items. We live in the city of Rochester NY and have never sold anything of this sort prior and thought lets call a few pawn dealers and get a range of what we might expect . Most ALL dealers were very short and rude over the phone Except the Canandaigua Jewelry & coin exchange The individual that answered the phone was very helpful and understanding and promised to beat all local shops offer so we decided to take the ride to Canandaigua NY and it was well worth the trip 6 STARS to these guys all day.. I recently visited the Canandaigua Jewelry and Coin exchange to trade in some old gold necklaces, bracelets, and one ruby stoned ring. I was very happy with the overall experience. The quoted price was competitive, and actually a bit higher than a comparable coin exchange located in Penfield, especially on the ring. The shop was very clean, inviting, and I felt safe the whole time. The employee at the counter was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He presented me a few different price options for exchanges with him, as well as information on how I could sell the items on my own using eBay, etc. The nice thing is that I never felt pressured.I would definitely visit this store again.

Had a couple broken pieces that I couldn’t fix or use anymore. Dave gave me more than anyone else would offer in Canandaigua and was very upfront and accommodating on the condition of my items and what he could pay. Will gladly deal with them in the future if I need to get rid of anything.

Called store and one person answered gave me a promise of a good quote on a gold piece i had. then when i get there a different person is at the desk tells me well the other guy shouldnt have told you that and offered me such a low ball I immediately walked out disgusted then went just 10 minutes away to a pawn shop in victor and the gave me 2 times the amount i was offered. LAUGHABLE

I was on vacation during the holiday season, my iPod broke. I contacted the store and was told they had a newer model for cheap. I was cautious buying a used iPod without a 2 year warranty. Everything I was told was correct and they were professional gentlemen. The iPod works great now 2 weeks later, and I saved over 100$.in my opinion this is a quality local business that provides excellent customer service. Support local business.......

Both the guy I talked to over the phone and the guy in the store (I believe his name was Joe) were very friendly and knowledgable, answering all of my questions before I decided to sell my silver. Great group of guys here!!!

He gave me a great deal for my broken and my unwanted gold jewelry! Did not feel pressured and he bargained with me!

Came into the facility a about 2 weeks ago to show him 2 rings - one of which was said was worthless, in which I had lifetime paperwork for at $279.00 + 50.00 = $329.00, then the other ring was to be said was very under clarity and he was right that one was purchased with all authicity certificates worth an estimated amount of $1799.00, but bought at $489.00- both of the rings were 10k white gold and I2-I3 clarity. He told me to go on Groupon, see the rings, and review my purchases. He offered me a very unreasonable price of $69.66 for both rings. All I could think is hell Ill keep them for that price. Then, I checked that site and found two similar rings one being priced at $499.99 for a 1/4 carat with 10k and clarity of I2-I3, then I found the other one priced at $363.99 with 10K white gold, clarity of I2-I3. I am disappointed that he felt I would be stupid enough to except such a low offer. For business purposes he may wanna offer more to someone whom with research you out. Good luck to you in the future. I will not be dealing with you ever!

I decided to take a 25 minute drive after going to several stores here in Rochester with my 32 ounce silver rounds. This shop paid me about $42 more than I was offered in Rochester. By far these guys will make it worth your drive.
