I was referred to Herbert Auto and I’m ecstatic at the service. The absolute friendly staff is unmatched. My tires were bald and they worked with me and installed four new rims, tires, sensors and lug nuts. I’m so pleased with the end result. I will definitely be back if I need work on my van. Ive used Herbert Automotive for a variety of maintenance work and I find them to professional and with competitive pricing. On more than one occasion Ive even heard their representatives tell customers that they dont necessarily need to go with the more expensive work - even if it is an option. Thats pretty rare to find these days when it comes to automotive work. Be sure to check their website for discount coupons as well. Even though the coupons show expired on their site, they have typically honored them in the past.

Brought car in for Alignment over a week ago along with oil change and post vehicle purchase inspection. The issue - while the car is aligned, the steering wheel is not centered. The steering wheel is slightly off to the left. I brought the car back in Saturday morning 10/2 and waited for 2 hrs in the shop while the technician was working to center the steering wheel. I found out he had to put it on the lift 3 times after test driving. I drove the car home and noticed right away that the steering wheel was still not centered and now slightly to the right. I called the shop on 10/4 to notify them of this and they said bring the car back tomorrow. I bring the car back on 10/5 with my son, and we wait for the Service Mgr to help us. He gets the technician that did the alignment as he wanted him to ride with us to show him. The technician (Lloyd or Floyd), was very rude to my son and tried to tell him that the alignment can be off if you hit a pot hole. My son told him the alignment is not off, the steering wheel is not totally straight when driving the car straight. The technician threw his arms up and walked away and told me as I was coming outside that he cant ride with him. So the Service Manager came out and drove the car while I rode with him and also noticed the steering wheel was slightly to the right. He said he will sit in the car and whole the wheel while its on the alignment. Other staff on break stated to myself and my son that the technician is very unprofessional and has a bad attitude and said there is not reason why the steering wheel should be off center with the alignment if he is doing it correctly. When they were finished, the Service Manager handed my son the keys and told him it is dead center. My son drove the car home and it is not - is is still slightly to the right as it was when we brought it in. This is troubling! I spent $80 for an alignment that was done completed properly and to our satisfaction. The steering wheel should be straight if it is done correctly. We also dont appreciate the rudeness of the technician. Why would you want someone representing and working for your shop that behaves this way to your customers? Now I completely do not trust any of the services performed by him. Now I also have to take my sons car to another place to have the work done properly and have which will also cost me more money and time. Will not be bringing our vehicles here again.

Changed my oil and I asked them to see if they could fix an issue with my car and they fixed it. Their people were very friendly and I did not have to wait long. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend them.

Have been there twice. Once for my ac, and once to diagnose and fix a strange sound that was occurring when I was breaking at low speeds. Both times all of the staff were ever-so helpful, and my repairs were completed quickly with minimal inconvenience. Prices are great, and they are honest as the day is long. This shop is wonderful.

Great business! The lady at the front (greeting and handling transactions) is SUPER friendly! Even the other clients waiting for their cars were chatty and friendly. Very comfortable waiting area with coffee, leather club chairs, and large TV. So far, the car is doing great! :)

Went into the Canton location and was met at the door, very friendly asking what they could do for me. Quickly took my car around for an oil change. I was done in about 15 mins and the inside staff was very friendly and prompt. Will definitely be back.

They had to replace my PCV valve and gaskets and they also completed an oil change and I gladly paid $800 for everything because they did it right the first time and gave me a 3 yr warranty. I will always use them for my car repairs.

I had a warrantee cat. Installed. They left the upper o2 sensor unplugged. They also installed abs sensors that I furnished. So,Were they left unplugged? The labor for the work shotty as it was seems outrageous?! 356.00 dollars in labor?! My wife picked up the car asking why the check engine light was still on? They Cleared the light it came right back. If he would of took the time to read the code he would of seen 0134 sensor inactive!I have spent a lot of money at this store over the years. Very unhappy with this visit. The cat. And the two abs sensors are at most 1.5 hours. 356.00 dollars all labor!Anthony Johnston.

Have taken all of my cars to Herbert for many years, however lately I have had an issue with my CEL (check engine light) and have been back twice now to have it fixed. The first time the issue came back and the last time I brought it in about a week ago it was fixed for 6 days and is back on now. This is after I have spent over $1000 trying to fix whatever the mysterious issue is. I sure do miss Kevin....

Ive been taking my vehicle here for awhile from oil changes to big repairs they have been awesome and never try to over sale me on things that I dont really need.

We always get treated like friends, in a professional, friendly environment, by whole staff. We always feel like we get treated honestly and fairly.

They tried to sell me an air filter by showing me one that was filthy. I said no. I went to Advanced auto parts and the filter ended up being perfectly clean.

The customer service was very poor. I ordered tires on Thurs and they were to be installed on Fri. The tires werent at the store Fri and the manager stated he would check and call me back. He didnt and when I called again 2 days later the manager still seemed unsure whether tires ordered or not. I went to Dekalb Tire instead and received excellent service.

Recently my daughter had a tire blow out after getting the spare on she went to Herbert Auto to get two new tires as there was a hole in another tire also due to a road sign in the middle of the road. The manager, Kevin was very helpful to her and made her feel comfortable after her scary experience on the road. He paid attention to our concerns for her to be safe on the road. Even though they were very busy, Kevin took extra time to ease our concerns that there was no further damage to the car from the road sign she had hit on the interstate. Five stars for the friendly and helpful staff, especially Kevin. We have been going to Herbert Auto for several years now and have always received personal and professional service. Kevin takes extra time to explain repairs and keep us safe on the road.

I didn’t want to leave a bad review because this may not have been done by there employees because companies do give loaner vehicles sometimes. However this van had a man and his older son fighting in a Murphy has station parking lot that was so violent we had to draw our firearms before he would calm down. This caused a very bad scene for Herberts automotive. Windows almost shattered in there company vehicle from things getting thrown. If this is their employee using their vehicle I would hope corrective action of representing there company would ensue after this complaint. The gas station took video and police made a report. We have taken several cars to Herberts over the years and have had a very good overall experience. Their prices don’t seem to be out of line with anyone else, my routine oil changes are very quick, and they have been helpful with older cars that need a bit of TLC. We have experienced good and factual advice from them.

Please if you know you have an accent or you look different, DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. If you do go, pray God that you do not come across this man (I guess a supervisor or senior mechanic) who is very RACIST. He had guts to mimic me while his facial expressions and attitude suggested am at wrong place for my truck service. He didnt care to know what was the issue irrespective of him telling me on phone to bring in the truck. It was someone else (I guess his juniors) who was concerned since he didnt have to waste his time with a customer like me.Please learn to RESPECT ALL customers and if that is hard, practice not to directly talk to customers. I give a benefit of doubt that you are not a reflection of Herbert Automotive in general but you are just single rotten apple.I serve the people of United State and live the Army values. Seems to be a good place for emissions and most car repairs. I like their waiting area a lot. They have a tv and stuffed leather furniture, computer stations for those who wanr to catch up on some work, kids area and even some bisto chairs if you happen to bring lunch. The have vending machines and coffee too. Car repairs can be a pain, so at least you can wait in comfort.

Super quick and affordable oil change they usually have coupons online or all over town in flyers etc. Cleanest and most welcoming waiting area Ive ever been in at an autoshop that wasnt a dealership. The mechanics and the lady working reception are super nice and helpful.

Prices were great, staff was friendly and the service was quick.

On three different occasions services were performed on my automobile that I did not request. The manager was informed but the problem was obviously ignored because it happened two more times. They can not be trusted. They are very unprofessional and give Herbert Automotive a bad reputation. And if trust issues werent a huge problem, the employees shout profanity in front of the customers. The commercials paint Herbert as a nice, trustworthy, family oriented business which is so far from the truth.

Pilote friendly and fast staff, however they changed my oil using an impact drill and it messed up the screws making it very hard to get my oil changed any where else.

Did not put gasket on drain plug after oil change. New oil was leaking out. Took it back a week later and they said there wasn’t a leak only old oil that they forgot to clean after doing the oil change. Still had leaks so I had to go to Express Oil to fix the problem, they replaced the gasket and topped off the oil that had leaked out for only $5. Highly recommend

I needed a battery replacement for my key fob. I called and spoke with Joe. He was friendly and helpful and said I could come right then and they would take care of it for me. Within 15 minutes of my phone call, he replaced the battery and I was in and out of there. Now that’s CUSTOMER SERVICE and with a smile and pleasant attitude.Prior to calling Herbert Automotive, I called another local place and was told to get a battery from Kroger and they would have to see when I got there if it would work. Since he sounded so wishy washy and was anything but helpful, I wasn’t going to waste my time. It’s amazing the difference a positive, friendly attitude makes.So thanks a million Joe😀

Today I went to Herbert Automotive because I bought a Ford F150 used from a dealership and before I could make it home check engine light came on! I know sucks right! Anyhow Scott and Kevin both were very helpful in diagnosing the problem and allowed me to stay until close of business until tow truck arrived to take the truck back to dealership. Scott also gave me a ride after They closed to meet my wife! These guys are great and offer great customer service! I recommend Herbert Automotive to anyone looking for a business that not only looks after the customers vehicle but also looks out for the customer!!!
