This is one of the great Joanns around in my area. The workers are very friendly & tentative to the customers. Always have the fabric I need, not to mention a GREAT clearance section. Some of my worker with the fabric

I love to sew and craft and this store has it all. You walk in and the first thing you experience is the beautiful floral department. That just sets my experience to want to create something beautiful for the season. The staff is always helpful and welcoming. Go, treat yourself to be creative and experience the Fun!

I had a wonderful transaction at this location, the cashier that helped me was very pleasant. We laughed as I realized I had given the wrong receipt and had to go look for the correct one. Once I returned with the receipt they had already located my online order and was able to credit the full amount of the products purchased.As long as the cashier is at this location, I will continue to visit!

Always find what I need for crafts. I havent been sewing for quite some time but JoAnns was always where I bought my patterns, fabric and notions. Love the curbside pickup, as I need a walker to get around these days. Theres usually a coupon that you can use for your purchase too. They have lots of wreaths that can be embellished or hung as is. I like their outdoor decorations, every seasons. Great place, friendly and helpful employees.

Jo Annes is Jo Annes. Right now, all of those of us who sew, knit, crochet, or craft are in full swing to get our projects finished for Christmas and that is reflected in the somewhat depleted stock at JoAnnes. I was in the Metro Detroit area for family and decided to shore up my stash with fabric from local sports teams. Those who seek Detroit Red Wings fabric will rue the day they decided to make a pair of jammies as a gift. Yes, I know I CAN buy some fabric online, but no, I would rather touch and feel before I decide.

Listen, Joanns is my happy place. I prefer the Novi location, it is larger and therefore has a bigger selection. But really, Im not complaining, this store will meet your craft needs!

Good place to get fabric, obviously, but they have so much more. Only down side was the coupon they sent me only 2 days before was already expired, the cashier still honored it for me. She was very friendly.

The store seems relatively typical for JoAnn. All employees were wearing masks properly (definite plus). Overall, though, the store is difficult to navigate. It is not clear upon entering where the items you are looking for are located. Also, sale items are spread about between aisles, rather than in one area. Just my opinion, but it would be easier if they were together. The shelves could also use some intermittent facing. I would have given it 3.5 stars, if I could.

Very short-staffed, which is unfortunate. Its hard on the employees and customers. I waited 18 minutes on the phone to get help, and when I did, it was without apology and with impatience and disrespect.When I went in, it was the same. One employee at the checkout, no one at customer service, and really no willingness to help or kindness.It was the same at the Novi store. The gal at checkout was very kind and patient, though. She explained there were only two employees for that large, 2-floor location. Many people in line were voicing their dissatisfaction with the lack of service and the wait.They are definitely going to be losing business with their recent cutback on employees.Not anxious to go back at all.

Canton store has a great, friendly, helpful staff! We discovered crafts and projects during Covid-19. When we had questions or needed experienced assistance, the staff here were always willing to help!

Nice work staff. Helped me find a certain brush to use to decoupage & have a good variety of canvases which are always priced at 40-50% off. They could have more sizes in my opinion, may have been sold out but overall I will be back. Very clean location. Check out line was fast.

A huge array of fabrics! I was so surprised how big this place is and its mainly fabrics and things to see, quilt, knit, just a lot of project stuff. Really cool.

I absolutely love Joanns, and this location is no different. They have a great stock of all the arts/crafts/fabric needs you can think of.The staff here are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable not just about their products, but also many staff members can offer advice/tips on the projects youre planning to do.I also highly recommend the JoAnns app. You get coupons through there, and this location always works with the app.

Go early for cloth cutting. We like to shop here because not only do they usually have advertised items the cashiers are kind enough to assist with online electronic coupons.

Find exactly what we were looking for. The cashier was awesome because she looked for ways to save us money and found a great coupon that she applied to the order. Would definitely shop more here than other stores for fabric.

I am so happy we have a JoAnn Fabrics in Canton! I have just picked up sewing and really enjoy their selection of fabrics and notions. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. Their buy online, pick up in store service still needs a little work, but I have a feeling this is a technical/corporate issue.

Helpful staff and everything you need for clothing repair.

Place was ok.. it was pretty crowded. A lot of stuff was picked over as well.. but there was a big sale going on. My main complaint was the line. They only had 2 registers open when the line was extended well past the aisles.

A quick run today. No lines at either the cutting table or checkout.

Decent enough selection but if youre really looking for more choices I would try the Jo-Anns on Carpenter road in ypsilanti. Definitely worth the drive.

I love going to the store the people are really nice Ive its very clean and they are tonight even they were very helpful on finding me help me find the product they were quick at the registers cashiers were just as nice I was there yesterday same thing very well stocked. I would recommend this store to anybody I mean it is clean stocked courteous people I have no complaints.

Got a great deal and did curbside pick up. Staff was friendly and prompt in bringing my order to the car. A few items marked in stock online were actually out of stock, but I was able to get enough other spools in colors that work that it was fine to be missing two.

Not sure if they are going out of business soon or what but lots of items on clearance and not a ton of selection right now. But store is clean and folks are very friendly

Way overpriced. Even the things on sale or half off . Seems like they jack up the prices and then mark them down so it seems like you are getting some great discount.

I was a lot surprised by some of the prices, especially on seasonal items. It seems like theyre padding against those end of season deep discounts (bringing things down to their actual value). The store was clean, the staff was friendly enough.

If you like to craft and sew, you have to appreciate Joann Fabrics and Crafts. I recently took a class and it was very good. The staff are helpful. They offer a nice range of supplies and materials. Curbside pickup doesn’t actually work. You have to go inside.

The first time I came here about a year and a half ago, I had a great experience...that was the last time I had a great experience at this store. The woman who cut my fabric for me the first time was super friendly and helpful. The exact same woman helped me the second time, but she was VERY rude and was clearly having a bad day that she was taking out on everyone she came into contact with. Now, with curbside orders, they take WAY longer to fill then the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti locations. I have placed two curbside orders with all 3 locations over the past couple months, and the 4 orders from Ann Arbor/Ypsi took less than 24 hours each. The first order from this store took 5 days to fill, and today is day 6 for the second order and they just canceled it on me. Save yourself some time and energy and just go to a different location...I definitely will be from now on.

Found supplies I had been hunting all over for and not able to locate. So happy I stopped in I WILL be back.

They really dont care for papercrafters anymore. Clearance items were in bins piled high. Would have taken hours to go through. The selection of stickers and embellishments was limited.

This particular JoAnns never has the patterns organized. I have complained to the store and corporate for over 2 years, and nothing has been done. It is nearly impossible to find a Simplicity pattern in the drawers where they are supposed to be. Other than that, the staff is really nice and helpful, except they need more floor staff. They usually put on more cashiers when needed so the wait is reasonable.

They have their clearance on 55 percent off. Mostly yarn. The clerk was very helpful when we wanted something cleared up about their container clearance, which was 50 percent off the alreDy reduced prices.

Absolutely no one around to ask for help. Call the store to ask if they had what I needed and they said they had it. I made my way there to get it & couldn’t even find it, waited in line to ask the cashier to help me and they basically told me I had to good look again myself.... not supporting this location for anything!

Joann fabrics is as nice as ever despite being closed because of COVID19 for months. Its my go to place.

I was getting material to make a blanket for a friend and they assumed their gender and then argued with me about it.

Cmon... What legal hobby could you possibly have that they do not stock supplies for. Ive seen the cashiers go fetch items that the customer made a mistake on or forgot. They are truly customer-oriented. The store itself is clean and organized.

Lots of crafting materials and resources....Patti at the register used her own coupons and saved me over 20 $! If you like to knit, sew, needlepoint, crochet...go there. And I hope you get Patti. She was sooo nice. Gotta pay it forward now!

This is probably the biggest Joanns around, its two stories of crafts, fabric, yarn, all kinds of crafty goodness! And every time Ive needed help with measuring fabric or putting a project together, or just finding something, the staff there are fabulous!!! They also are really helpful with finding coupons at the registers, and that is sooo appreciated!

I can always find what I need here... and usually more stuff than I came in for!

One of the best locations in the state. Pattie at the cutting counter is an all star! Highly recommend this location!

Needed some fiber fill for some ornaments I was making, ran in, got what I needed and went to pay, unfortunately the line was so long, but it moved very quickly. They had all cash registers open, so I got in and out of there fairly quickly. Thats exactly what you need to do this time of year is have both visible employees on the floor helping customers, and every register ringing up customers. Good job!

Extremely rude staff. I appreciate them doing curbside pickup but it took five days for my order to be fulfilled and I ended up driving 40 minutes to their store more than once because you cant get through to their phone recording when you try calling and they stop the curbside service 1 hour prior to what is listed on their website. Its almost impossible to get throughto them on the phone, they either dont answer or it is a busy signal. When you place your order there are no warning that it could take this long and it is only in very small print that they tell you to wait until you get your e-mail verification.Once I finally received my order the team member who gave it to me was very rude, asked me to roll down my back window and just tossed the bag in the car(not an exaggeration) no receipt or farewell or anything. I had to get her attention before she went back inside to ask if that was everything.The entire process was a huge pain and I recommend going somewhere else.
