The variety of items is great. The only place I can find the mini hull less popcorn. The registers are straight out of the early nineties, dont fix what is not broken is a great way to conduct business.

We have moved out of the area, but go here every time we are back. Great place to shop.

I am greatly disappointed in the policies regarding Generator return and warranty work. I recently purchased a Champion Generator after having it for three weeks and running it under 100. It failed. I am still waiting to get my generator back. I spent over $ 700 on the purchase to only use it a few times in a couple weeks and I have no generator. My point is that Farm King in Canton IL. and The manufacturers of Champion generators Do not seem to stand behind the product that they sell. Here i sit two months after buying a new Generator without a generator to use .

I tried to find out the price on a pair of flip flops and the staff treated me very rudely. They were clearly frustrated by having to find the price of a shoe with no price tag. I would not recommend shopping at this store. The staff needs training in customer service.

Would not recommend. Rude staff. Had extensive neck and chin surgery a week ago and have one ear yet was still told to wear a mask or leave. Had another experience when I was younger when a staff member was very rude to my elderly grandfather in the sporting good section as well. Dont shop here. Spent my $500 at orileys and they lost a sale.

This place does not install your pre purchased tires. For liability reasons, you have to purchase your tires from them. Im glad I was able to purchase the same like, kind and quality from Farm King after returning the ones I bought from another retailer. They got the new tires installed in about an hour. They seemed quite short staffed. One woman took 20+ minutes of their time trying to negotiate pricing on tires even though the prices are set. It decreased the amount of time the guys could spend working on the tires. Good customer service, quick tire install when they could dedicate the time to it and decent tire pricing.

If you cant find it elsewhere. Then try here, they hv a huge inventory.

Like these places, but didnt have radiator hoses for sale by the foot etc., nor any rubber plugs/boots.

We shop at Farm King for all our farm and barn needs. We have purchased cattle panels, water buckets, water tanks, salt licks, horse halters and lead ropes, wormers, gates, dog kennel, and more. So many things you can find at Farm King like work clothes, boots and warm socks, gloves, hats. You name it and they will probably have it.Friendly staff, and good sales, a good place to shop for all your farm and home needs.

Needed to get salt for the snow storm. This was the only place in town that had any in stock. They were up front on pallets ready for to go. I browsed the store and found a lot of merchandise I didnt need this trip but would be back to get in the future. Id recommend this place to check out.

Automotive is a serious joke .. You work on cars ... Changing the oil has nothing to do with the breaks ... You get in put the car on the lift .. Change the oil ... Id you dont feel comfortable working on someones car because you hear a noise .. Get the hell out ..

Good locally-owned small chain department store with huge variety of home, clothing, garden, auto and hunting products and great, helpful staff. Unfortunately, the technology is way out of date, making checkout slow and prices cant compete with the bigger chains or big box stores. But less walking to find what you need in a hurry!

Went in for handgun ammo an workers were rude an rushed me. I was the only person so I dont understand how they cant take 5mins to help service you. Poor service was put on hold for 15mins. No big deal but then was told they were in the middle of a sale an hung up on me. An I was going to buy 100rounds of 6.5mm creedmore an more 9mm. But I will never go back here for ammo or anything again.

Management is very rude and condescending to customers and employees. Coaching, empowering their employees is at the bottom of their list. A particular manager with longevity is given the ability to treat and belittle staff. Upon approaching manager of 30 years, he states, you just have to know her, it is just how she is. My response, just because that is how she is doesnt make it right. I also have a family member who had a problem with a product he purchased there. He approaches same manager who was extremely rude and she wont assist. She told him to call the company. He calls the company and the company apologized on her behalf, contacted the store and he was allowed to go pick up the product. When he arrived to pick it up, she rudely shoved it across the counter and wouldnt speak to him. How is that for customer service?? Corporate really needs to step in and put some policies and procedures in place along with customer service training. The young adults have better manners that management with longevity.

Farm king has a lot of supplies for farm and house. Including guns ammo and hunting n fishing gear. I prefer Farm n Home in Havana but will go to Farm King for certain things like propane refills. Theyre propane prices are very good. I think the normal price for a 30 pound propane bottle is $20 and sometimes you can get a 20 lb tank filled for $12 if its on sale

Large selection of merchandise from clothes to farm and home supplies to toys. One of the few places in the area selling Ariat jeans. Helpful employees are always ready to assist you. Large parking lot. Great place for household repair projects.

I’ve been going to farmking for my oil changes the past couple years. The last few times I’ve gone is when I realized how much they lie about their service. One time I went in and they could not take off my tire caps. The issue was that I bought metal ones that ended up fusing on. (Big mistake on my part) the weird thing was, farmking wrote in fake tire pressures on the paper even though they told me they could not remove the caps. That’s when I knew something was fishy. Last weekend I got an oil change again and one of the papers lists off things like “power steering checked and filled”“Washer fluid checked and filled”“Coolant checked and filled”Everything was marked off. But I knew before I went that my wiper fluid was empty. A couple days ago my power steering was getting a tad rough. Turns out most my fluids were low. Never even got a drop of washer fluid. Only things done were an oil change and filter swap. Explains why they get done so quickly. But they lie about the other services they do. Did they not expect people to find out? I also had another bad experience with a hole in my tire but that’s another story. Don’t worry I filled all my fluids myself but FarmKing needs to stop giving those fake papers to customers making them believe all these services were done when someone just makes a bunch of pen marks. It’s lazy and it’s a shame. I may have to take service elsewhere unless someone does something about this. To any customers reading this review, pay attention to these things if you go there.

Love Farm King! I can shop while my car is repaired. There are so many items in this store...I always buy something I did not expect (like a bow and arrow right out of Hunger Games)!

We purchase fish for our lake once due to location. Returned on this day to buy bags of fish food. They were all sold our. A nice female staff asked to take my number to call be as so as the shipment came in that next week. She did and I was great full.

Ehh. Just nothing memorable about the experience. Prices were okay didnt have the item I was looking for.

High prices and mediocre customer service. Many of the prices are high enough that it is cheaper to go to Pekin or Peoria to get the same hardware. Many of the staff answer questions like you are inconveniencing them. Some of the staff are great know their stuff and are helpful but for the most part of you do not know exactly what you need you are out of luck.

We try to buy Local, but this store is so slow to check out. One clerk checking out at the desk with returns and problems. Four customers deep waiting, while watching 4-5 clerks do nothing but hanging around the desk. Disappointing. Come on Farm King! Customer service should be number one priority.

Almost no nuts,bolts,screws,fittings,etc anymore.Looks like they are ridding them.Everything is much more expensive than elsewhere.1 employee,Bob,is the only person that cares about helping customers.

Came in for a synthetic oil change and was provided with friendly service. The cost for the oil change was also very fair. Farm King also offers free coffee for their guests :) I will be going back.

Prices are very high for pet items available in town. And they have some of the most expensive plants during planting season. Small businesses in the area are cheaper with similar products. I like that they carry specialty items for animals that I would otherwise have to go all the way to Peoria for. Saves the gas. Its a hit and miss depending on what you are shopping for. Staff is not always very knowledgeable but they are friendly and do their best with the experiences Ive had. Store has always been clean when Ive been there.
