Met a rude lady at the deli section. I asked for 1 pound shaved slices of Genoa salami. She told me “you can’t shave salami… that’s not a thing..”. I said “I’ve had it many times and buy it often at Kroger, please make it the thinnest possible”. She proceeds to give me whatever she pleases, which was not thin slices. This angered me and I wanted to just leave the salami on the counter and walk away.Normally they will cut you the first slice and ask if you like it. This lady was rude!I am sorry to give the entire store a bad rating but this lady really has me still thinking about this sour experience and how I can avoid it next time. I will just get my shaved salami at Kroger! That’s probably what she was thinking I should do anyhow………..Nice store otherwise. Everything else was fine.

OMG I love this store. They had my favorite lotion ogx coffee and coconut body cream. I couldnt believe it and they were reasonably priced too. I didnt have to do an online order that would take weeks hallelujah!! Thank you Meijers!!!

Since the remodel, their shelves are bare. Everyone I have gone there recently I had to go to Kroger to get items. Now that you have to check out yourself its not worth the effort to go there. It amazes me that they spend all the money on ads and mailing coupons to drive you into the store and then drive you away with poor service, lack of items, poorly organized shelves. Today was my last trip there.

One if the best Meijers in the Metro area. Clean and easy to find items. They keep a nice variety of Vegan foods.

Electric buggies need to be updated/upgraded. Many of them look as though theyve been in accidents out in the parking lot.

Horrible service at the checkout lanes. Please realize that the most paramount aspect of a business is collecting the money. If you cant actually get a customers money into your cash register, you will not have a business. Hire more cashiers. We dont care about your remodeling. Im tired of waiting 5-deep in a checkout line. I left my cart full of groceries and walked out... Went to Buschs and spent $300. And dont tell me, nobody wants to work... you have plenty of workers walking around that store.

I love this location. Its been updated and renovated. The lighting is softer and the items are much easier to find. The checkout process has been streamlined and updated for covid to allow organized soc. Dist. Queueing.

Meijer is heaven on earth. I can find pretty much anything I want there. It is my favorite store and I pass by there almost every day as I am moving from house to house for my cleaning business. Cant go wrong and I think the prices are good.

Meijer in Canton by Ford Rd, recently renovated. Its a good store.

I order Curbside every week and theres almost always something wrong with my order. Curbside is also way, way too slow. I spoke to a young man named Abraham and he was very nice and issued my refund while on the phone. He added coupons that were worth their mistake. It used to be better before 2020 Shut down but once they came back its hard to get good help.

Your store is a lot bigger and nicer then the westland store I normally go too!

I love this location theres currently construction and the store is completely backwards and a little confusing only one store entrance is open. The employees are always friendly and will help you in any way they can without making you feel awkward or uncomfortable for asking a simple question or 2! I love shopping here and will miss having a Meijer down the street after we move! Highly recommend and their prices and weekly deals especially their buy 5 items for 5$ off is AMAZING!

I wouldnt go here for everyday shopping, but, their food quality and selection is unmatched in the area

We love Meijer we went for toys came out with ice cube trays epic jerky and more fizzy water drinks than anyone could ever consume within a month. It is currently under construction but the guy at the front waving high and saying hello made it all better. The first part of the parking lot is being worked on in is a little confusing to get into the entrance but Im sure theyll figure it out.

This is far more than just a 5 star review, its a love letter to an angel, and a story about my first every baked from scratch cake.Dear Jennie O., (like the turkey, she said)It was about 11:30 on a Saturday morning when I bulldozed into the baking isle of Meijer fueled only by coffee and anxiety. Thats when I saw her.Well, I think she saw me first. She asked me if I needed help finding something, I let her know my list was rather long and I could probably figure it out. I must have made her motion sick from running from one end of the isle to the other in frantic search of things I had never heard of before.She stopped me again. She said you could be out of here by now if you showed me that list, and thats when I admitted defeat and accepted the help. She was right. My cake was already behind schedule, and while its great that I was getting my steps in for the day before eating a cake with two pounds of butter in it, pacing wasnt going to get this cake made.So I started rattling off items on the list one by one and in less than 5 minutes she ran me from one end of the baking isle to the other until every item on the list was accounted for (all but one, but Ill get to that).Let me tell you something about Jennie O. (like the turkey), she is absolutely hysterical. She had me in stitches laughing at my own panicked misfortune. She is like this combination super hero, comedian, and olympic grocery shopper. Jennie O. is good people.Now onto that one ingredient...After running about like crazy we got everything on the list, except for sour cream because I decided that I could be responsible for that one ingredient by myself. Would you believe that I forget? This Meijer is under major construction..parking lot full. Hard to find items due renovation. The greeter and meat employees were upbeat and helpful in the midst of chaos. Might be better to visit another Meijer until construction winds down though.

Shout to the staff. These two ladies Goku and Gohan powered up there super saian and located the item I was looking for within minutes so I could get my kid back to normal. They rock. The two Im referring about have awesome blue hair 💙

Customer service was located behind construction. Waited in line for 30 minutes and left. Other customers waited longer. Only one person at customer service counter. My husband and anothet customer ask for help from store leaders which ignored the problem. So we left to meijers northville which we got assistance right away.

Not real happy with Meijers lately. Dont have items that are on sale and over priced. The rich can afford it but the poor cant.

Put Darla in charge of curbside! Darla went over and above in helping me with my order today! She noticed that I had many missing items when bringing out my order, said it didnt seem right and asked if I had time so she could go check for those missing items. Low and behold she found almost all of those missing items! I am an extremely satisfied customer today only because of Darla. She wanted to make sure her customer was satisfied! She is a blessing to this store!

They are doing a lot of construction here. Nothing is where it says it is according to online which makes it incredibly hard to find what you need. In addition to not being able to find anything you need, you also cant find am employee to save your life. I walked around the store for a good half hour before I was able to find anyone to help me.

I often go here to pick up a quick lunch at work. They also regularly have dry ice but call first if you need it. The store has a dizzying selection of items from socks to cucumbers. Great quality and convenience.

They wont scan their own MPerk cards. Want you to touch their nasty keypads and enter information. We have the card, you have the scanner but youre too lazy to do your jobs. Good thing Kroger is right across the street. They scan their Kroger cards and have much better customer service.

They are in the middle of remodeling and it is bigger and better! The pet foods got expanded and looks like a pet store within a store. They brought in new freezers and other new appliances making this Meijer aesthetically pleasing than other Meijer’s I’ve been to. Now let me tell you about the BEST part… quick check out lanes! No more long lines and days wasted! Whenever I am downriver and go to the Southgate Meijer which I cannot stand, I know that I will spend at least half the day in line! Canton Meijer’s has put up brand new check out lines with the majority being self check out lanes if you’re in to that,especially for a quick bread and milk run. I myself have 4kids and make a trip once a week with a full cart so I prefer the lines with real cashiers. So to end this long winded great review this is the Meijer to chose and shop at!!!

They sell lots of clothes but got rid of there dressing rooms. If your a shopper like me that needs to try on clothes before buying dont come to Meijers there no more dressing rooms 😭😣😔

Dismayed to learn that after June 1, 2021, Masks are only required for customers who have not been vaccinated.... And how do they identify those folks? Those that dont like masks will now just stop wearing them... I wish they had listed this in signage and in listing like here on Google....before I encountered this in store!

Very old school looking Meijer. Brought back memories. They were a bit under construction (likely updating to look like current Meijer stores), but still easy to navigate through. Overall a pretty good shopping experience.

Cannot find anything at Canton store and their prices are higher than other Meijer store

Super busy when I went a few weeks ago..they never have all lanes open. Luckily I was able to use self check, was in and out. Although they usually have what I need, not my first choice of grocery store... I prefer smaller stores with less of a crowd such as Fresh Thyme or Target.

They have been remodeling them and honestly its not looking like an improvement at all as far as customer experience goes. Meijer used to be great. It doesnt really stand out from Wal-Mart anymore. Sad.

In general Meijers are going downhill, most stores. I cant count all the times that they are out of products that Im looking for. I end up going over to kroger to find it. Im gonna become a kroger customer!

Is under construction.Floors are a wee dirty but being under it is kind of understandable. Bottle return is all the way back in store and the returns were not all working but this is in most stores

This is a larger, nicer Meijer, and with the remodel it will end up brand new again. Always good customer service; they must brief everyone daily on the remod as the staff knows where things are [today].Personally not a fan of the grey theme, but thats the new thing.

I just found out they close from 12 midnight to 6 a.m. I did not know that.

I enjoy shopping at this Meijer! Unfortunately, their card readers sometimes wont read my card and it caused a big issue this last visit (she had to manually void and then re-ring my whole grocery cart). This doesnt happen often, though.

Jay should be promoted to manager. He always takes care of customers and from what I see goes out of his way to make sure the experience goes well. Today I left a bag at the self checkout and he literally ran it out to me in the parking lot as I was leaving. This is not the first time either. I have been coming here for years and he’s always taken care of me. This store is great and can’t wait till it’s open 24 hours again. Thank you Jay!!!!

Customer service wasnt a pleasant visit went to return bottles and customer service rep had an attitude and it was written all in het posture and how she greeted her customers had to have someone else go and get assistance from them and said they noticed the same thing and she also told me they could only give me 25 in cash back but went to another register and Ms. Maria helped me and my friend out tremendously.

This store is undergoing a massive renovation much like the Jackson and ypsilanti stores. Everything is moved around right now and its a massive mess. But the areas that have finished renovations, the renovations look nice. New shelves, brand new flooring, brand new led lights, and the ceiling is painted grey. The current updates look nice.If you are planning a quick in and out though, go to Belleville rd store in Belleville because this store is under construction and everything is a mess right now.

Its a grocery store but this is the best Meijer in the area. This store is usually very well stocked but the lines are slightly ridiculous because there is no self-checkout for more than 12 items. But really for a grocery store its the best in the area.

They never have the items their inventory states online regardless of the item or store location.

I did online ordering for the first (and last) time with disappointing results. I literally got only half the order (for example, I had 2 boxes of granola bars on the list but the bag only had 1--same with a few other 2 of where only 1 or none wound up in the bag). The one item I really wanted from the electronics department that got my online order started was, apparently, not available, which meant I had to go to the store in person, and there it was. I never heard a word back from Meijer when I inquired about my order, so I wont be using the online shopping feature here again. Im sure the shopper tried their best, but I shop online elsewhere and the delivery services are infinitely better. Too bad, since I really wanted to support this part of Meijers business.

Terrible curbside pick up. My scheduled pick up was 3-4pm. Got a call saying it would not be ready and to wait for an email saying when it would be ready. At 8 oclock on the dot I got a text and email saying it was ready so I hopped in my car started to read the email further only to find out they end pickups at 8PM 🤔. So I called and was told I had to go the NEXT morning., Only to sit in line for about 15mins to then find out over 1/2 of my items werent available....such a waste of a busy moms precious time!! I wont be doing that again.

Absolutely love their produce, meat and deli. Better than anywhere around! Beer and wine are amazing. The only bad part is that you do have to pay for the quality. I generally get staples from Meijer and shop the outside of the store here.

For some reason this location frequently has items out of stock! I tried to use the curbside pickup function the other day. Placed an order for 2 items at 3pm and the website said it wouldn’t be ready until 8-9pm. I got to the store at 8:30 and the order was still not ready! I ended up canceling it at going in myself.
