This Publix is great, but Karen in the pharmacy brings chain drug store association up to my local pharmacy,y beloved pharmacist. She is so personable, caring...I cant say enough good things about her. Love this pharmacy/pharmacist. Without people like her, most Chains make you feel like a number, but not here.

This place is hit or miss. I work across the street. I, at least 4 times a week go to this place. I always go through the customer service checkout. Im in a hurry to get back to my kitchen.There is a lady there w/short hair that treats me like s--t. Every time.The younger men & women are fine and professional. I have, on occasion just gone down to Kroger because that person is there.Roll your dice on this store.

I love shopping at any Publix store, however the Hickory Flat Publix is the best. From the kind employees in the Pharmacy, to the helpful employees at the meat and seafood counter. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Most importantly, they are so kind to my elderly parents who shop at this store. It really is a pleasure to shop at this store. I can’t say enough about each employee there. Thank you.

Okay, Im gonna try not to bounce around here but Ive been catching up on my reviews here while on vaycay. Ikr? Bare with me thus is a long one 2 for 1 worth the read.In 2018 I made the worst decision but best decision at the time to transfer our prescriptions to kroger from publix (regretfully) due to my daughter being born 2 months early and on a machine it was just to hard at times to pick up prescriptions in publix with no drive thru availability. Therefore, I regretfully changed to kroger for there drive thru service. Worst decision ever. I was treated like a number at kroger and not a valued customer. I always had issues with my prescriptions, the entire staff at the pharmacy had no desire to provide customer service at a friendly matter what so ever. Its like I had to push them to work or do anything at all. Finally after 2 yrs, I decided I was going to go back to publix now that my daughter was off her machine, thriving, full of life and roaring at the wheels as any 2 yr is at that age. I procrastinated for over 6 months to a yr because of the difficulty kroger made it when I changed originally in 2018 and now that I alone am on 15 prescriptions I just didnt want to go through the hassle of changing pharmacies again, but I finally had the last straw.I called publix pharmacy and let me tell you. I truly believe that when our property and house are done being built in the next yr I will make that hour drive to publix to keep them.Lauren is amazing!!! I cant say enough about this pharmacy technician. She remembered me from 3 to 4 years ago after only being a customer for a year. She welcomed me back, remembered my entire familys names as prescription were/are needed. I mean talk about mind blown and family oriented! She went the extra mile to get all my transfer done and still is 4 months later as some didnt have refills. We still have to deal with Kroger sometimes and this lady right here is a gal that makes stuff happen. She gives me options if my prescriptions arent available same day for other locations or an eta on availability. She always gives me a heads up if there is going to be a little wait. The entire staff is always smiling, saying hello and over happy to see me and any other customers, no special treatment. They treat everyone the same. I cant say enough about this pharmacy. They are truly amazing and make us feel like family there. I would definitely recommend anyone looking to change or thinking about changing pharmacies to give Publix on Hickory Flat a chance. They have definitely earned my business for life. Thank you Lauren for going the extra mile and taking my stress away when dealing prior authorizations, other pharmacies and bumps in the road. Thank you to the entire staff for always making us feel so welcomed and appreciative of our business. You will always be my number one recommendation to anyone seeking a new pharmacy. Yall are Rockstar! Keep up the good work!!!

Its a bit different than the other Publix I shop. The layout is a bit different.. But all in all I think it is a good store

Had to come back and leave a note about the platters we ordered online and picked up, one sandwich, one vegetable, one Olive/pickle, one fruit, and one brownie. Everything was fresh, tasty and well prepared. It was a wonderful relief to come home and have everything ready to set out for our guests after the memorial.

Cheyenne in the bakery made our daughters day! We stopped by to pickup last minute birthday cake. My daughter wanted a red velvet cake but none where available. Cheyenne said give her 15min and she would have one available for us. When I received the cake she decorated the cake with roses and the colors my daughter loves. Thanks for the great customer service, thats hard to come by nowadays!

Nice store but stock was low and/or empty slots where items should be. With everything going on today, doesnt really surprise me much. Other stores are not really much better keeping shelves stocked. Clean and neat. Employees were not very friendly. I can go to another local store (Ingles) and the employees are very friendly, nice and helpful. This was a trip out of the ordinary for me but the store was convenient for my trip of errands that day so I decided to take a chance on the store. Not sure I will return.

It is a nice, well organized and clean store. The staff are very helpful. However, it is more expensive than Kroger and other grocery stores nearby.

As usual, from a Publix standard, great customer service and great products from their meat, deli, produce, and bakery depts.

The lady Pharmacist is awesome, always friendly, always smiling and very thorough on precautions of every medication I have filled there. An older store but kept in very good condition. One thing I notice about all Publix stores are the products are always neatly squared off on the shelf.I like Publix in the fresh vegetable section. My only complaint overall they are almost always more expensive than Kroger and they allow instacart to mark up their products even more. Kroger uses instacart to deliver but do not give them the right to mark up products above store prices. I wish Publix would take control of their deliveries as it does not allow them to be competitive with Kroger. The do have no doubt a 1st. Class deli and in store prepared foods.

My first shopping experience here this morning was great. The store manager and Christopher were so helpful. The store is clean, calm and organized.

I love Publix in general but have been especially impressed with the customer service at this location. From the personnel working the lot to the general manager Ive been impressed with them all. Face masks now required is a big plus.

Nice clean store, courteous staff, veggies and fruit are very fresh. Generally well-stocked. The wine selection is good but the prices are not as competitive.Meat department is well-stocked most of the time.

They always seem to have what I need

If you shop in the mornings you can find Mellisia in the deli. She has been awesome helping me get deli products put together when I have all my holiday parties!! she knows the exact amount of sliced meats or serving sizes Im going to need even for guests that eat above the normal amount. I have never run out of food when I have my gatherings! Shes really good at telling me some side dishes that have pleased my family. Just love dealing with her ❤️.

I like Publix because to me their clean store and abundant food selection is superior to other chains.

They are quick through drive through and the food is the best you can expect from McDonalds.

I would like to suggest a couple of items from your bakery. I would like you to carry the orange blossom mini muffins and either or both chocolate chip cream cake and your marble cream cake. For some reason you never have these items out.I would also like to commend your store during the Covid 19 it is very much appreciated your diligence in keeping the public safe.

Publix has the best grocery stores! Deli, produce, meats, seafood and BOGO deals! Plus the customer service is second to none!

Had an order that was lost and the Asst Manager in the deli department Randy did not break a sweat making a sub platter for 10 hungry bridesmaids. Thank you so much Randy!

This store is a great store to shop in the store manager Alex really cares about giving good customer service. The only issue with the stores the bakery which has a manager who could care less about customer service. Keep that in mind when you’re at the bakery as there’s a lot of out of date product on the shelves and the bakery manager could care less.

Publix us an excellent organization. They are doing a top notch job of keeping costumers and employees as safe as possible during the current crisis.

Great staff and always clean

If i could give the bakery zero stars I would. the cake that was given to me looked as if a five year old had made it. The baker Emma was incredibly rude, had called me twice, didn’t get an answer so she took it upon herself to decorate the cake however she liked. After I was able to get back to her about the cake, she asked if it be okay to give me a cake design she decided to do because she wanted to be ahead on orders. I of course declined and asked her if she can make the cake they way it was shown in the picture I gave them, which then she gave me attitude about it. Would absolutely not recommend this bakery to anyone, they aren’t “professionals” what so ever.

I had a sharp plastic peice if something in my salad. I could have swallowed this and it could have been very bad. I love publix and im a huge fan of their wings and strawberry salad with sweet vinegar dressing but this was scary. The publix i know is more careful than this.I would add a photo of it but im not sure how to.Edit. I figured out how after I clicked edit.This peice is sharper than it looks.

I give 2 stars because I know and love the staff here. The store would get just one star if any. Despite the fact we have had and are having all the growth of new subdivisions here this is the worst Publix. If you travel down the road to Holly Springs or Crabapple the Publix markets are far more diverse and superior to Hickory Flat. I could write a small chapter on how the deli does not function well, the bakery has gone way down in quality, produce is inconstant in their quality, and the store generally lacks diversity in their products. Take heed Publix. Kroger is right down the road and Ingalls has just renovated their Canton store and its wonderful. I may have to travel but this Hickory Flat location is only for when I need convenience.

Deli needs some serious help. They cant even follow an online sub order. I asked for mayo. Not tomatoes. Pretty ridiculous. Theres 10 people back there and all I hear are personal conversations.Not what I expect from Publix.

I love Publix. Everything at this location is in point. I enjoy the people that work the deli. Its busy everyday so if you are in a rush you might want to consider that. Most of the cashiers are friendly. BoGO all the time and digital coupons

In and out quickly. There were many people in the check out line and I had only a handful of items. The store opened a new line and waved me over. They are like that at this location. It really is a pleasure to shop there.

Great and very friendly and knowledgeable people. Beautiful showroom for Bikes and Retail thats not too crowded with things. Helpful staff that puts no pressure on you, but is there if you have any questions.

I love how much they will go out of there way to make sure you get exactly what you want. Publix is the best.

Janette is who I asked to ring me up (at the customer service desk) She was busy emptying the trash can, there was ONE register open and of course they had a line. After she hesitated and made an ugly face, I said “never mind”. The entire case of Sprite broke and went everywhere because I was attempting to get her attention, before she made the ugly face and basically acted as if she didn’t want to ring me up.
