Do not do business with this company. I dont really have the energy to express the level of disappointment and unprofessional service received from this company. Kyle, who is the owner cant be trusted is unreliable and just bad for your business. Never on time and does not follow up, will keep you waiting for days on end. Has installed used equipment which he tried to pass as new. DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK and expense!! The star is only because its required to post.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! Kyle, who is the owner is untrust worthy, in reliable and just bad for your business. Never on time and no follow up, will keep you waiting for days on end to get any service on the shoddy cameras and equipment he installed. I was not surprised to see 25 one star rating for this company out of the 34 ratings! DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

Although hours late for our scheduled appointment I received courteous service. However, they (Kyle) was to return the next day to replace the battery in my alarm system... Well it has now been 10 days and no word from this outfit... I have attempted to call but they do not answer the phone...I would highly recommend you seek service elsewhere because you wont get it from Kyles outfit...

I would NOT HIRE them again. Save your money. We hired them to put electric door locks for a non-profit organization. We paid them the same day installation was done. Next day we start having problem. We called them up and set up appointment, they never showed up, They stop picking up our callas, wasted our time for next 3 months. Finally we involved our lawyer and they showed up next day. Very Very UNPROFESSIONAL. I would give them NEGATIVE 5 STAR

Total Home Security is the most unprofessional company I have experienced in my life. They came too my home did a poor job with mounting my TV on the wall. After speaking too Kyle he was suppose too come out and look at it but never did after he mad several appointments with me too do so. I told him I wanted my money he said he would bring it and never called me nor responded to my call or messages. So at this point I will be seeing him in small claims court which will cost him more. Total Home Security should be titled Total Hell Experience.

Kyle was very professional. He was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing/had to do perfectly for us to comprehend without feeling like we were completely clueless. He installed 2 TVs perfectly how my wife wanted it. Happy wife makes Happy Life.

Every review about the terrible customer service from Kyle is absolutely true! This company (because of the owner Kyle) deserves NO STARS! I initially contracted them to install some TVs. Job was done well, they had to come back and fix a few things no big deal. After that Kyle will up sell you to more services they offer, this is when the scam begins.Ive NEVER dealt with someone who promises as much as Kyle and DOES NOT deliver! He lies so fast it can either frustrate you or just make you shake your head. He will literally say, I will call you right back, of course he doesnt and then NOT answer his phone when you call him. 8 hours later, he says something ridiculous like I was coming from out of town. I have a text thread 5 miles long from him promising, promising, promising and NEVER coming through. This guy WILL NOT service the products he sells. You WILL spend money on top of money, getting rid of what he sells you just so you can deal with a company that will simply service you.I think when a company does well, you should spread the word and give them lots of business. However, when they take from you, that should also be made known. Consumers please beware and dont deal with this company. Kyle needs to be ashamed of himself and how he conducts business.

They installed 6 cameras, four of one model, and two of another model. The installers had no idea why there were two models, and no idea of which to place where.One camera did not work at all, so they replaced it the next day.A couple months after installation of the cameras there were several breaks-ins / vandalism on my street. We checked the cameras thinking we could get a photo of the thief, instead we found out that the night vision did not work. Essentially, the camera system was useless.Kyle refused to respond to my requests for repairs, he refused to respond to the BBB, and he refused to respond to the attorney general.When I sued him, he ducked out several times when he was being served notice of the lawsuit (e.g., evaded delivery.) He was finally served by the local Sheriffs office.When he was summoned to court, he failed to show up; ergo, I won the suit.I just returned from the damages hearing and was awarded even more than I asked for.The downside is that he is such a well documented crook, even the magistrate judge wished me good luck in collecting.If he has abused you, please report it to the attorney generals. After his company receives enough complaints, the State of Michigan AG and the US AG will litigate. With your help, we can put him behind bars!

BEWARE. STAY AWAY. Scammers. I paid for some security cameras and installation; which they installed but they never worked. I called over a dozen times to try to get them to come and fix them but they never returned a call. Horrible, horrible company.

I hired Total Home Security to install my surround sound system on multiple televisions in my home. The installer Kyle was totally unprofessional. They left the work undone. Scheduled a return date to finish the undone work but never showed, nor have they answered the phone or returned my calls. Left me in the lerch. My mistake was paying for the service before it was finished.I got my referral from Angies List.Do not use this company. They are a total rip-off.Edit:I hired you to connect 3 tvs, in which you only connected 1. It will take more than an extension cord to connect the other 2. I now have to hire another installer to complete the job that I have already paid you to do! If you were to return my phone calls (after several attempts to get in touch with you) this matter could have been resolved, or at least, discussed. Its not personal, its business!

I purchased a package, over $1700 cash, about 9 mos ago. At first, (the 1st day) I was very happy with it. Then......no. I have had nothing but problems with the mobile app, which after much research I found this app had a security breach, contacted Kyle, the owner, promises promises. He has only answered my call twice. The last time being a couple week ago since I have had no remote app for about 6 mos. He takes my call but says hes running into the bank (Im sure he was) and would call me back and then hung up on me.Of course he NEVER called me back. So I am left with this ridiculous priced system that doesnt work properly, dont know how to find an app that will work with it, it is basically useless. I dont need to know who is here when I am here, I needed it for when I am not.Buyer beware.I had promised him upon installation in June 2017 I would write him a good review because on his old website there were so many bad ones. I gave HIM the benefit of the doubt and his excuse he was a start up and didnt know what he was really doing blahblahblah....well, he still must not know. I just wanted to know what app to use now that the one configured (crashed within months btw) is useless.Im a senior on a fixed income and feel totally taken advantage of. Probably because I was. Please people, look elsewhere, you dont want to be me, or these other reviewers with similar situations. I will NEVER trust this company again and now have to try to dump this junk and get a real system that actually works, in the way I intended to use it, in the way Kyle promised it would work.Shady af. Customer service and follow up is horrible.Has system installed 2 weeks ago and still cannot get anyone to come out and take care of some issues.Install crew was sloppy,put a large hole in my bedroom wall from trying to run cables down the wall to hook up the DVR,insulation and drywall debris left everywhere after install. Kyle the owner seems to not care. He also scheduled 2 different times to stop out and take care of my issues,never showed up.To many issues to list. Be careful of this company.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!Here is my experience:-Call and set up appointment with Kyle (owner)....day of appointment after 1 hour late I finally get ahold of him and he says he has to reschedule...we reschedule and for that appointment he is 45 minutes early (which he sat in my driveway the whole time which I didnt like since my teenage kids were the only ones home)....that meeting goes well, he provides quote and we set up install date.At the install date, at the 2 hour late timeframe, I again get ahold of him, only to find out hes not coming....says cameras didnt come in...I tell him it wouldve been nice of him to call me and tell me so I dont sit at home waiting for him! He agreed and apologized and we reschedule install again.....on the rescheduled install date, after waiting an hour after the scheduled install time (again, waiting at home), I get a hold of him and am informed they are stuck on another install and they arent coming!That was the last straw and I told him not to bother rescheduling at which point he hung up on me without so much as an apology.

Avoid at all costs!This company just flat out doesnt comprehend the concept of customer service. My system worked all of 3 months before it completely crashed in January. I called them several times to fix the problem to no avail. Every time I called them the person on the phone would simply that is odd, and say they would be out the following day only to not show up at all after giving me a 2 to 4 hour window for the repair. I have wasted a handful of work days, with my schedule being from 10am to 630pm Mon. - Fri., waiting on servithat were never rendered.On top of that their billing practices are just a complete sham. I reviewed my bank statement to see that I was charged by them twice in a month on multiple occasions. Some months I was charged $79.99 all at once, other months I saw I was charged $39.99 twice in a month with as much as a week between each charge.Im all for supporting small businesses, but not at my own expense as far as: being ripped off, having my time wasted, and their failure to provide service. Dont make the same mistake as myself and many others have. Their rates are on par with larger REPUTABLE security companies like Brinks and Guardian.... save yourself the headache and just go with one of them. If 0 stars were an option, thats where Id rate them.Inconsistent billing practices, absolute failure to perform service calls, and undoubtedly a non existent customer service policy. Its a no brainer...

SELLS UNLICENCSED CAMERAS NOT APPROVED FOR USE IN THE USA. ONCE THE INSTALL IS DONE AND HE IS PAID HE DISAPPEARS. TAKING TO COURT TO SETTLE THIS MATTER AS HE REFUSES TO SERVICE OR REPAIR OR REPLACE WARRANTIED ITEMS. AND NO ONE ELSE WILL TOUCH THE PRODUCT SINCE ITS NOT TO BE USED IN NORTH AMERICA. CON ARTIST!!! THE US DISTRIBUTION CENTER WONT ASSIST WITH ANY PROGRAMMING AND INSISTS I HAVE TO CALL A NUMBER IN HONG KONG AND NONE SPEAK ENGLISH.
