What a great all around experience, couldn’t ask for more. From the moment we walked in Scott made us feel welcome and the no pressure sales environment was very pleasant. Scott was very patient with us as our purchase took two months for us to be ready to finalize the sale. It’s obvious that a Scott understands customer service for he certainly put our needs and interests first. Installation was completed on time as promised and we were off and boating. Ran into an issue with a through hull fitting leak and a faulty bulge pump, not related to the engine installation. Brought the boat back to Pirates Best and Scott worked it the next day as a priority, couldn’t ask for more. It’s reassuring to know we have a competent team ready and able to take complete care f us when needed. Thanks again Scott!

I rarely write reviews, and certainly even fewer positive ones! However, I feel compelled to share my experience with this dealership!We vacationed in Cocoa Beach last week and brought the boat. Immediately after launching, he realized there was a problem with the motor. Hauled it back up onto the trailer and had no idea where to go! By luck, we happened upon Pirates Best Marine.He just went in to inquire… And within MINUTES, Joey the technician was hooking up hoses and providing a complete tune up and repair. Didn’t ask our names, for any personal information or anything. Just handled the issues professionally and promptly.We both work in the RV industry and realize how difficult it can be to get good service on a luxury item. We were blown away by the professionalism and courtesy we were given. Our entire vacation could have been ruined, but Joey made sure we were back on the water within an hour!When we went in to pay, the owner greeted us with a huge smile. We were also pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable bill.This will be the annual spot to service the boat from now on, even though we live hours away. Thank you!

What a great experience! Good prices, great service, honest, friendly and on time. The owner, Scott, is very accessible and works 24/7 to get the job done. February 13, 2021. Hello anyone reading this. I’d like to start this off by saying if your looking to Suzuki for outboard repower “do it”. Their intel in their products is remarkable. And their warranty is best on the market hands down.Let’s talk about PIRATES BEST MARINE in cape Canaveral Florida and Scott (owner) and his 5 star crew of employees, including son in law Ricky. After contacting every single outboard dealer and doing Significant amounts of research of products and manufacturer Comparisons I found that Suzuki is unbeatable, not only in quality but service and me being a General Contractor service is a huge part of What I look for on a daily basis. Walking into Pirates Best Marine For the first time after deciding to go Suzuki I couldn’t have asked for better show room, super clean, extremely organized, and caring Representive that were knowledgeable in Suzuki. Made me feel great especially after knowing I was about to invest/not invest in my Edgewater. Joey managers assistant/right hand was welcoming and gave me his time with all my 7000 questions. Sorry buddy. Over all my personal experience there was perfect, they said everything they were gonna do and made it come true adding tons of electronics, custom console, even allowed me to come in everyday to confirm I 100% liked what they were doing. Great company....Goes above and beyond in all respects....Example....had an issue with an old pick up tube in our Edgewater after the Re-Power. Scott took the call and trouble shot the issue then took care of the issue immediately.All s I can say....I shopped around for the Best Price and not only did I get the Best Price....I got a Great service center to take care of all of my boating needs and a Great Friend .Thank you for everything Scott. If you are a boomer (or older!) you may remember when you could go to a small business and get friendly and knowledgable service from someone who took their time to ask you what you needed, then gave you their time and experienced knowledge to help you. (whether you buy something from them or not) That is Pirates Best Marine. No business is perfect, but I always leave this place with a smile. Timing is everything, and sometimes you may walk in while they are giving this type of personal attention and service to someone else.....just have to be patient and appreciate that they give that kind of service to everyone.

My first experience today was absolutely fantastic! Scott was very professional and showed great customer service when taking the time to review options, and answer questions regarding the repower for my skiff.I will be returning Thursday so that Scott and the team can install the outboard.Scott also offered to provide test props to make sure I achieve maximum performance.I highly recommend Scott and his team for service and repair.Thanks Scott and team!

Scott @ Pirates Best has to learn about customer satisfaction!!!!!! I am still waiting for the correct Suzuki propeller for my 150 Suzuki 4 stroke that I purchased in 4/8/18. Scott assured me that I would get low 50s with 3 people,and mid 50s MPH, with I person. Thats why I got the 150 and not 140 HP. 3 Solas props tested in 7 months Not Suzuki brand as on my purchase order. Can only get 42.5 MPH with 1 person .Scott has not returned my calls/texts. Last acknoledgement I was promised that someone will come to me on 9/28/18,and bring a bunch of props,and make it right. Well I got a text @ 7:15 am that morning that his service guy called in sick. I called, left messages/text . Scott has dropped the ball again.I want what I paid for! So I filed a complaint with the BBB, of course Pirates Best are not accredited with the BBB . Still waiting for there reply. So I will do what I have to get action, and keep posting so other paying customers will not get taken . I have no problem with the service techs, just Scott .My neighbor referred me to Pirates Best, a commercial fisherman with many boats. I cant do the same! Since i am 70 minutes away, I selected Pirates Best because one of his service man lived 10 min. from me. Back 3-4 months ago, I heard he is no longer employed there, hum wonder why?

I just had the most pleasant experience at this establishment, I do not do reviews ever but I felt compelled to do so after reading this other gentlemens review. I dealt with Scott and Richard, I walked in on a discussion they were having with another family, the discussion was Scott was refusing to take any form of payment from this family and the parting words spoken by Scott were some you never hear anymore we are not here to make a killing we are here to make a difference inspiring words, after the family left Scott and Richard turned their attention to me and Richard had said that they didnt have alot but they love going fishing and we just made sure they were safe. Awe inspiring at its best. I promptly went over some particulars and I ordered my new outboard and electronics. I just picked up my boat today and wow am I very grateful I came to these guys the work was impeccable, my boat was clean and I got a tutorial on how to use everything. If you are considering who to use for a repair or a new outboard these guys are top notch and very honest.

I own Florida Cape Guide service here in Cape Canaveral..Our boat needs to preform on a daily basis there is no time for break downs.Scott and and his crew do a awesome job they have always maintained our Yamaha and now take care of our Suzuki I highly recommend Pirates Best they have NEVER let us down..We have in the past been taken advantage of by mechanics and thats why we truly apriciate the honesty we get from Scott and his crew.

Although the shop is small and they stay extremely busy -- cant say enough about the quality of work and fact they stand behind it. Ive taken my boat there on several occasions and have never had a problem. Knowing they were very busy I took my boat elsewhere for repair which was a mistake -- the problem was misdiagnosed and never correctly repaired. So I took it to Pirates Best and they immediately found the problem that created the motor to stall after periods of idling. Thanks Pirates Best.

Pirates Best Marine is the only place I would bring my boat. Scott and Richard do great work! my boat always comes back clean and ready to hit the water. I have been using them for years and recommend them to anyone with a boat. Have heard nothing but good from everyone I have sent to them. The bad reviews I have seen on hear sound more like bad customers than a bad bussiness.

First and foremost Scott and Richard are amazing people, I dont know who would write such terrible things about them, I came across this while trying to find their website. Scotts been working on my boat since I bought it 8 years ago, me and my family never experienced a problem and always feel confident going 60 miles off shore and returning safely, Scott has a passion for boats and fishing off shore like none Ive ever seen, he knows his stuff, he even shares some of his honey holes with some that cant get many fish, I have seen him help people out for no charge and on the spot no matter how busy he is, and trust me he is always busy, I know he spends late nights at his shop to get things done, so whom ever you are attacking him, not only are you probably the liar and thief Scott has done nothing but good for this community, bet you didnt know he is a military family and fixes some boats for no charge for alot of veterans. So I would be careful what you say, they are great people with big hearts and always there when you need them. PS. I was referred to Scott by a fellow charter fishing captain in 2012. I have 3 boats in my fleet. Boat Maintenance is crucial when operating my fishing business.The men at Pirates really like to help others. They take the time to explain what is going on. They have talked me out of unnecessary expenses. All repairs have always been excellent work. They normally have me in and out very quickly. The costs of repairs has always been fair. Several times he has fixed issues for free.Most boaters have had Mechanical issues on the water. More than 6 times I have called or texted Scott while I was on the water. Scott has walked me through the problem and helped me fix my boat over the phone for free, so I was not stranded.Scott is very knowledgeable & is good at diagnosing problems. BEWARE!!!!!!! Take the name of the business as true. Pirates, Thieves and Liars. Has had my boat for repair for 5 months and cannot/will not fix it. For this establishment, it is easier to band aid the problem then blame you because he cannot fix it. Scott is, in my opinion, a pathological liar and a thief. Things that went with the boat were stolen while he had it.

So I have had a water in my fuel issue for some time now. Is it possible it’s coming from the tank that was installed? Is the tank install under warranty from you guys?
