I just called there and dont know who I spoke with, but a male answered the phone. I ask about getting a mower blade sharpened. The conversation went like this:Him: What brand of mower do you have?Me: Honda.Him: So, it has two blades?Me: No; it only has one.Him: You dont have a Honda mower. You have a Honda engine.Me: No. I have a Honda engine AND mower. It is an older model, but has a solid aluminum deck, electric start and is self-propelled. Honda is stamped on the engine and deck. It only has one blade.Him: Oh. Well, Id have to check to see if the cost of sharpening is within the parameters of what it would cost to replace the blade. It might be cheaper to buy a new blade (new blades are probably $20 or more).Me: The last shop sharpened it for $5.00, so I dont think a new blade is the answer.Him: Well, I have to keep working at $80 an hour.Me: yeah......I dont think so.So.....I got my hand grinder out, used a clamp to hold the blade to my workbench, and sharpened the blade. I then put a 3 woodscrew in a stud and used it to check the balance, which required a little fine-tuning. All-in-all, it took me less than 10 minutes to do what this guy probably couldve done in 5.Either this guy is an idiot or he thinks everyone else is.

My lawn mower fell into my Canal behind my house I got it out took it to the man there in a half hour 45 minutes he had it running like a brand new real nice gentleman there real nice price to have it fixed. If I have any more problems with any of my stuff I will take it back to him

I had the best experience at this business. I had several people look at my lawnmower and weed trimmer but no one could actually fix them. I tried different people for months as my yard looked worse and worse. After finding Tri-County they were both fixed in a week. My yard is back to normal and Im very happy. I love this place. Excellent place for small engine repair. I have used them twice since recently moving to the Cape. Great service and price both times. In fact, my last repair was replacing a broken pull cord on a power washer. It was done within a few hours of dropping it off and he actually tried to charge me $10 LESS than he originally quoted (which was already pretty low), because the repair wasnt quite as difficult as expected. I happily insisted on paying the extra $10 for the honesty, decency, and exceptional service (he also fixed a leak where the hose connects). Once I get a boat (hopefully soon!), this is where Im taking it.

I have had my lawnmower and then my generator serviced. I received courteous and professional service for the pickup and delivery of my machines. They were patient and helpful when explaining the proper follow up care. It is important to me to support the small businesses in my community and I would recommend to my friends. Knowledgeable, courteous, and an extremely professional service. Honesty is the best policy and Jeff, the owner, is exactly that, honest! If it cant be fixed he will let you know before you spend money on your equipment that is sometimes not fixable or just not worth it. The mechanics are extremely knowledgeable as well! Of course, as in any business, glitches pop up but for the most part, turn around time is extremely fast! The office manager goes above and beyond to make you feel like part of the family there, shes friendly and a pleasure to speak with! I recommend and trust Tri-County whole heartedly above anyone else in the area!

I took my pressure washer there after 2 other local shops worked on it and could not fix it. 20 mins after I dropped it off they had it working perfectly. I was so elated I took my lawn equipment in for service and they work perfectly now also. Great staff, honest with integrity.

I dont like to give a bad review but was not pleased on the level of service and professionalism at Tri County. We dropped off 3 power units (for weed eaters, rimmers) to get adjusted and running better. All ran just not good. The owner said he would get to them next week and let me know. Next week I stopped by and got excuses for not getting to them. Tried again a few weeks later and more excuses. A month and a half later I picked them up. Was told sorry but we dont work on those brands... Really would have been great to know back when I first dropped them off. Take my advice go somewhere else for repairs.

I have an older John Deere riding mower. Ive been to three different shops, no one seemed interested in helping me. But I had a good experience with Jeff at Tri county, He got my Mower up and running in very reasonable time and for less than i thought it would cost Thanks.

I could not have had a better experience. Run, do not walk to Tri County Small Engine Repair for any repair you may have...Needed my generator serviced with Hurricane Irma looming in a few days. Despite being swamped, they worked OT and got it back to me next day!!! I was over whelmed, bought them pizza just to say thanks for serving the community... BTW, Cheese, pepperoni & sausage seems to be preferred...

I made appointments with other repair companies (who never showed up) before calling Tri county.the tech from tricounty showed up as promised and had my back up generator up and running within a few hours. Prices were fair and service excellent.

Took my Yamaha outboard on 4/27 to get new plug, tune-up, carb. After paying $150 Got it back and motor still keeps bogging down, and wont start after first pull and been running for awhile. Took it back 5/23, since it was never open when i got off work, even when Google said they were Open. With no calls or update I decided to pick it up on 6/15, and to my surprise my motor was tucked in the back same spot I dropped it off at. The guy working told me he just finish working on a boat that was parked in the back that wasnt there the first 2 times I came. Was told alot of people were upset with this place. Idk i should had listen to my friends who said never take it to a shop, unless you like losing money.

Not sure I have ever written a review but credit due never met the owner but Chad is a man of integrity and very personable.Work was done in a timely manner for a reasonable price. Glad I found this company
