I bought two beautiful chairs from Lee, a vibrant attentive sales person. I couldn’t believe the time and caring effort she gave us to help us find what worked perfectly for my daughter’s home. She’s articulate, knowledgeable, courteous and so very helpful! I will use her services at this store again. The store has a nice inventory of both gently used and new furniture, where you can select with staff assistance or browse on your own. I’ve never experienced a store with both new and used furniture and appreciated the options!

I purchased my first piece of furniture from Upscale probably 10 years ago. Since that time, they are my first stop when looking for a piece of furniture and I’ve purchased many pieces since. I love that everything is unique and not “big box” style. Most recent purchase was two bookcases and a sideboy....thanks to Leigh for contacting me when the piece I described that I wanted came in! I was surprised by the same day delivery also! My next purchase will be a desk....and I’ll be making my first stop at Upscale!

Visited the store for the first time today and was very impressed with the selection and prices! Great customer service all around, both sales and delivery associates were helpful. They were able to deliver in the same day so I will have my purchases for Christmas. I will definitely return!

We purchased a very nice living room set for a client of ours and it was an extremely easy and pleasurable experience. The sales staff are very friendly and not pushy. They are very knowledgeable in all areas of the furniture business which is a true plus. The showroom is amazing! With various options and great prices, you can find anything you need here. We will definitely purchase from here again and will recommend to our colleagues and clients. We dealt with Maria and she was a doll!

Great service from the employees, theyre definitely not overbearing in nature. Wonderfully diverse selection of classics, modern, and traditional styles. Not just furniture either! I saw plenty of great home decor accent items such as art, lamps, and other random items. Ill come back with more money someday!

Just HAD to comment on the outstanding customer service Upscale offers. I have been helping my parents move and downsize and thought the shopping experiences at the big box stores would be impersonal and overwhelming for my senior folks. Upscale offers a perfect blend of quality new and gently used furniture to compliment every taste and pocketbook. Our saleswoman, Leigh, patiently navigated us around the large showroom and offered many suggestions on how to blend our existing furniture with new pieces that would create a charming yet sophisticated look. She even proposed alternative fabric choices that were available! It was like having our own personal designer less the fee!!!

Upscale always has THE best selection of furniture. Every time I shop, I find new pieces I love. The Locke family is professional, courteous and helpful. I highly recommend shopping here first for all your home furnishing needs!

I bought what I thought was a very nice chair and was given good service by Leigh. Once the chair arrived, it wreaked of cigarette smoke, which I had not been able to detect when I bought it. When I called, I dealt with Mike, who gave me a very rude and smug answer right off the bat, Well, all sales are final. Not even an apology. Then he instructs me to google a solution. I would never shop here again. Overall, the selection is mediocre.

Wonderful, ever-changing selection of furniture. Sales will bend over backward for you, and they have very reasonable delivery rates. The delivery guys are friendly as well.

Really pricey for consignment stuff and overpriced delivery fee of $99. Lots of new with tags items, too. It is nice stuff but dont forget a credit card or two!

Horrible! Like getting furniture from pushy used car salesman. They didnt show us the scratches on the couch we purchased and the table was lopsided. Our bad for being too trusting. Called to explain couch scratches and they were completely unwilling to help.

My wife and I were in Upscale Consignment this morning September 7, 2013. We were there with photos of my Aunts furniture. We had no expectation that it was valuable. We were there to get a sense of its value. We spoke to a salesperson he was warm and friendly. The experience went quickly downhill when he introduced us to Chris. Chris is probably the rudest most condescending retail person I have ever met. The photos were large and very clear. He was impatient and down right rude. The furniture was from the 1930 and 1940s in excellent condition. He dismissed everything as an American copy of European design.My wife asked about some of the depression glassware and other crystal glassware. He told her that she could act Bohemian and smash it and make something useful out of it. We did not go in there thinking we had hit the lottery. We went in as a consumer trying to learn and offer the items on a consignment basis hence the stores name.I have been in public service for the last 35 years. I would never treat anyone I met in my career like Chris did. Especially a potential customer. I walked out and told my wife I would never set foot in Upscale Consignment again.

I use to love going to this place. I went in here with my brother and the customer service was terrible! Leah the associate was rude, racist and couldnt do basic math. She stated that I needed to purchase a minimum of $500 for delivery. I wanted 4 dining room chairs 2 mirrors and needed a couch. I am not sure HOW she couldnt add that up. It easily totaled over $500. My brother, trying not to insult her poor math skills, said tome in Farsi that my order easily totaled over $500...it was at that point that Leah said if you spoke English I could help you people. Mind you both my brother and I speak FLUENT Farsi and English, we were both born here. Needless to say I decided only to get the 1 mirror. I asked her about other furniture and well, what do you know they purchase furniture from Wayfair and up charge. When we left I said thank you and explained my brother would be by to pick up the mirror I bought, she didnt even acknowledge me. I will NOT be going back. Update: I hope everyone notices how transparent the owner and management is here. If you read the reviews following they are all 5 stars conveniently and they are ALL talking about how great this particular associate who was racist, NOT helpful and discriminatory (WHICH IS ILLEGAL). And to respond to the owner your associate LEIGH is the one who shared YOU PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM WAYFAIR AND INCREASE THE PRICES TO SELL ON THE FLOOR, SHE EVEN COMMENTED THE ONLY PLUS IS THE CUSTOMER DOESNT HAVE TO PUT THE FURNITURE TOGETHER. The owner is so transparent as to what he is doing here its even worse than I thought. You deserve a zero star for making up false reviews, allowing an associate to discriminate and lying about ordering furniture and upselling from wayfair. SMH

I had been thinkling about selling a lot of my parents fine furniture since they had passed. I had about 10 items that were in great condition and vintage....I first thought about selling on craigs list and ebay but got worried about having to deal with the people directly about price etc.....I called the store and spoke with John Locke who said he was the owner. He spoke to me at length about the process and how it works with his business model of selling. Althought I orginaly though I could maybe get more money if I sold them privately I really did not want to deal with listing on ebay or craig list process. I had a bad experience once with criag list when someone tried to insist on giving an out of state check. John and I came to an agreement on price and terms. John was fair and very nice to deal with. 75% of my items sold within the first 60 days. I was paid promply and John was so nice everytime I spoke with him about the progress. I even came into the store to check on the progress and he showed me my items on display that were left and disscussed the options on any items still left that did not move. I would recomend this place highly....especially if you dont like dealing with internet anonymous buyers. The process was both painless and profitable and was very happy!
