The store was clean and well-organized. People there were really nice. We will be going back every day for the next two weeks. Were working here not from here. But we really enjoyed this supermarket

Nob Hill seemed like a great store if you have money. I am currently running a little low on that front so not the store for me or those who are on a tight budget. Beautiful store though.

Love this store. They are always friendly and they recognize us when we go in. They always give our dog attention. She gets excited when we go here because she likes the workers.

Sandwiches were good, prices were decent lines werent too bad. We got a bottle for the baby here when we couldnt find ours and it was only $1.78. They also take WIC here

This is a big convenient local grocery store with everything you need and showroom style produce but the prices tend to be higher than what I usually like to pay for most things.

This is not a place to go if you expect it to be a friendly neighborhood grocery store. Store was clean most all the food fresh. Workers on the other hand not very friendly, do not speak or reply unless it is directly related to your purchase. This review was based on 3 visits in one week

I love Nob Hill because they are a one of a kind grocery store. Tons of options at the coffee bar, deli, salad bar and hot bar. They carry both kinds of chips I love which I cant find anywhere and believe me Ive looked!! I love their in-house made sushi and there meat dept. Their customer service is too notch fer sure! 👍

Yesterday masks were required. Good job!! But your deli and sushi guy didnt cover their nose. These are food handlers!! Needless to say, I didnt buy any deli.

The person in bakery section was very rude and didnt want to help me with adding a name to a cake 🙃

Poor Deli employees all look dead in the eyes. When you walk up to the counter they all ignore you. Sad to see.

Very pricey. Go to $5 Monday? They are a great store,their hot/salad bar is how I survive. Have BEST selection of deli meats in area,Salami and corned beef. Excellent deli,with hand rolled sushi? And creme puffs and pastries that are too pretty to eat. Go. Lobster Bisque Soup is rich,creamy,amazing goodness. They are worth every penny.

German tourist here. I am in love with this store! Its on the more expensive side of things but oh boy it is fun to shop here! High quality products with a huge variety. Friendly employees. Good atmosphere. Only downside is, like I said, the price of some of the goods. Still 5/5

Not the cheapest, but if you need a big supermarket its certainly nicer and safer (covid-19) than Safeway.

At first I really liked this store. I still like it, but I find it a little too mainstream in the food selection. Its a perfectly fine place to shop, has a small organic produce section, but the sandwich I purchased from the deli was inedible. Its really not hard to make a good sandwich folks!

Great place to buy groceries. Staff are friendly and helpful. I often chat with the cashiers, which is cool. The store has a full bar inside of the supermarket. The bar usually has people in it. That gives you an idea of the chill, neighborhood vibe in the store. The fish has been good and reasonably priced. I like the roast beef at the deli, especially with horseradish.

They have all the brands I like. Joined their club and appreciate the savings too. Checkers are courteous and theyll even help you out with groceries without asking!

Awesome grocery store. Produce is fresh. Has organic products through out the store. Staff is always helpful and friendly. The deli is yummy. The butcher has a great variety. I can almost anything I need or want. The only problem is the prices are too much for me. With that said, you get what you pay for. The prices are totally worth what you get. Its just too expensive for me personally. But its still an awesome store!!

Frankly, nothing special. Mainstream corporate grocery store with a smattering of progressive (my word, code for gluten free, organic etc) items in most departments. Deli counter is good for take-out/take home. Seem to mostly be focused on competing with Safeway, Albertsons etc. Self check is kind of clunky and NOT intuitive. If you hate the other guys its a good alternative for the same stuff

Delivery was a complete failure- we had to schedule a full week in advance, then finally our one hour window arrived and nothing!!! We called and the delivery wasn’t scheduled (a 3rd party) We had to go get it ourselves- we are seniors during the stay at home. Do Not Support this store.

My wife (Chris), and I shop at Nob Hill exclusively. The staff at this this store are extremely friendly and courteous. We have gotten to know many of them by name. The prices of the foods we buy are very reasonable, the meats and fish we purchase are delicious. We wouldnt want to shop anywhere else.

This is my store!Love the customer service and that they will still take your cart out to your car.It is so nice to still have some really good customer service around. Some Say the prices are higher there but I would gladly pay higher prices and still be treated as the lady should be.

I normally do my shopping here but last night experience was terrible. My checker was Steve and he had a horrible attitude. He was like hurry up and get out! I looked at my receipt and I was way over charged. I only had two items so it was obvious. I told him about it and he told me I had to get out of line and wait. He then closed his line and proceeded to gossip with his co workers. Finally the supervisor came over and she acted like I was bothering her. I guess I was taking her away from the party. Usually everyone is nice. They have a great meat and deli department but the front check out could use a lot of help!

I love this place. its my primary grocery store, and remains so ever since i moved to this area fifteen or sixteen years ago. Friendly, helpful. Many of the permanent employees greet me by name. If i cant find something, someone finds it for me or goes to the back to look for it and/or promises to hold it for me when the truck comes in the next day. the young ones, usually students, are well trained and professional. pricing is clear; shelf and register prices agree every time, unlike safeway. deli food is fresh, as are any perishable foods. the store is open until 11:00 p.m., and i do mean open for business; all the staff are not off somewhere in the store stocking shelves, leaving no one at to serve as cashier, so that the customer left to yell from the register to be checked out. yep, i love this place.

Easy place to get groceries. It can get crowded depending on the time this includes the wait for checkout. However it had a great selection of food and supplies. As well as some good premade food like sushi and meatloaf!

Great selection and easy to get to from the bike bridge from Wharf road. The meat is so-so priced but of good quality. Their milk and dairy sections seem colder then in other local stores. Some of the more generic older brands were harder to find but they make of for it with a fairly large offering of both new and more established brands. Over all, they cost more item for item than most others if the item is not on sale. They have a good rotation of very reasonable discounts though.

They have the Glen oaks yogurt drinkable on sale! Two for $6 love this brand!

Shopping cart distribution is not organized and carts can be taken in to the store from various locations in parking lot and around entrance to store. Carts are not sanitized !! I believe I read a sign at entry of store saying no reusable bags allowed. I was charged 50 cents for 2 paper bags!!

So tired of digging for a gallon of skim milk, that’s not expired 😩. Gotta be fresh

Great to have a local Nob Hill (yeah, I know, Ralleys now) here in Capitola. They seem to have a bit wider product selection in many departments. Fir example, their available Gluten free product selection is more extensive here than on most other Nob Hill locations.

This place was out of many of the items I was looking for. Bulk bins were left with just crumbs, veggies in the spray bar were old and gross, etc. And Im not going to say this place is filthy, but here is a photo of what their dairy fridge...I would have given them the benefit of thinking maybe this was normal due to age, but when I worked in the grocery industry, my store never looked like this.

I love Nob Hill! The Customer service is on point. I live in Rio Del Mar, but I wont go to Safeway anymore. Ill drive a bit more for ultimately more choices, yummy deli and great customer service. Keep it up Nob hill, Ill keep coming to buy my groceries as long as you maintain this quality.

The ladies working in the deli were great! Very friendly. There was three people in the checkout line and they called for someone to open another register. Great service overall.

This is a good grocery store for the most part. In the past they hired some pretty questionable characters but that trend seens over. They have lowered there prices and they have a better alcohol department then Safeway. The lines do tend to be long though.

A bit pricey but they have the best meatloaf. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I bought the 2 for $5 bread weeks ago & put one in freezer right the way. But I took out today its all moldy. There is no custom service & I have to wait 20 minutes on line to return it. This is a bad products & it shouldnt sale it. I had one chicken on sale $.77 in. But it was bleeding meat all over. They shouldnt sale the bad products from the beginning!!! Snd no good customer service.

While visiting the area today I observed an employee by the name of Josie harassing a customer at check out of which the customer had no idea what she was talking about...the customer was most professional, listened then stated that he had no idea what she was talking about and and he will gladly go shop at Safeway which is just down the road and left behind what appeared to be easily a $100 worth of groceries that he intended to buy...I also had about $100 worth of groceries as well in my chart and I left them as well and headed over to Safeway...I realize your staff may be Union...Josie was most unprofessional - it was as though she forgot to take her medication...just bad behavior...the Nob Hill over in the Bay Area where I am from would never allow such poor behavior from an employee...I suggest she gets some counseling on customer interaction...you lost at least $200 worth of sales today as a result...

Nob Hill is always good shopping no matter if youre at Nob Hill, Raleys or Bel Air. Got some good discounts yesterday.

This is my go-to grocery store. They obviously have the best of pretty much everything as they are from the Raleys family. What else is there to say? Youd think theyd have higher prices than other grocery stores because they are clearly better kept, but thats quite often not the case at all. Solid, friendly service. Id recommend them to anyone, even if youre on something of a budget.

Excellent neighborhood grocery store but not quite the level you expect from a Nob Hill Grocery store. Smaller with more of a focus on upper end products. The pricing across he board is about 30% higher than Safeway on 41st Ave for example.Also noteworthy before visiting is that if it’s Friday or Saturday during the late spring or summer it any weekend with beach weather as sure as the sky is blue you’ll encounter lines akin to a shopping mall the day after Thanksgiving!!!
